KLM/Airfrance have not yet responded to our lost luggage claim, this incident destroyed the vacation of my son all his personal stuff in that lost baggage, I wonder why this airlines cannot trace the same, why such problem cannot be resolve when it is an international airline the main carrier oftheir countries, perhaps starting an official complains in the media would help, it is not really fair that a paying cusotmer not able to benefit what it supposed to enjoy according to their advertisements I will be using job in the media if they don’t return or compensate the same. From Amsterdam Paris flight we were assisted w very rude Dutch lady who spoke to us w annoyance and when we reported that agent to the manager on duty she kindly apaologize! Airliners are usually train customer service to the max? Yes we waved that mistakes unfortunately, our luggage is missing now!

    We flew round trip from Boston to Paris in June 2012 and had no problem, except my camera is missing and I had it when I left Paris!

    I wonder if they found it? Ha,ha! I wonder if I should try to call?!!

  5. I travel with a small service dog and have been flying for years with not one problem. She has her vest on and all her credentials and paperwork. In Paris on my first Air France flight the captain shut the door in my face on the jetway and I was told he does not want anyone who needs a service animal on his plane. Shameful behavior, but then again it is France…..

  6. I am sooooo surprised how an international airline can have no service at all. I have been calling their number for the last 7 days to get some information on changing an existing reservation and I cannot get past the recorded voices. When I press 0, all I get is “I am sorry, I cannot get you an operator at this point of time. Please try later in our business hours.” I was trying to get them in their business hours only. Also it is surprising that they dont have an option to email them?! I feel so cornered!! Will never book with them again.

  7. My boyfriend lives in Germany and I have to find another airline because this one sucks and I dont want to deal with them ever again. They are unorganized and don’t care about their customers. On my way back to Florida they charged me $100 for mt carry on luggage. Why didn’t they do this on my way to Germany. Plus there was extra space in the compartment. And their agents spend more time chatting with each other than trying to get people checked in

  8. holly sh, i just bought a ticket to France then connecting flight to Italy with AIR FRANCE, after reading these comments i am just afraid of loosing my luggage and all those stuffs, please guys pray for me so that i do not get the worst service…damn….i should have research about the air lines before buying the ticket…damn it…………..

  10. My luggages are missing since November 29th on my way to Lima. First I have to face the horrible service from a call center that is in Santiago de Chile, with unpolite people. As i said, I don’t make any of them responsible personally, but how can a luggage get lost? We are not speaking here from a low-cost airline!!!! Then of course back to Europe I had to deal with Paris, then Spain (because I speak Spanish?), then Switzerland (because I live there) but so far my luggages have not appeared and nobody is able to tell me what happened. They are asking me now that I have to send the receipts for my contents. Who is keeping the receipts for personal belongings? I definitely will NEVER fly Air France again. I am sure my luggage didn’t get lost but STOLEN! Otherwise it is not possible that it dissapear.

  11. Thank you for the WORST travel experience of my life.

    A few days ago you De-Planed an entire already boarded plane in Paris bound for Johannesburg.

    Well..let me rephrase, you seated us, fed us a cold crappy keep quiet meal, while you CONNED us over the P.A about a supposed technical error.

    You forgot that your agents with loose lips had already pre-warned us that this flight was waaay underbooked and would cost a fortune to run.

    After combining two flights, you board us, along with elderly, disabled passengers and families with very small children only to de-plane us after 2 hours.

    What followed was :

    *Lineups in CDG till 3 am as your staff ridiculed us English speaking customers and lied to us about connecting flight re-book assistance.

    *NO ASSISTANCE for old and sickly passengers.

    *NO ASSISTANCE for visa passengers who you forced to spend 24 hours in the airport as they were unable to leave the airport to stay at your designated hotel.

    *Booking us into a distant hotel without directional assistance for passengers.

    *Single women were harassed by shady characters as they walked around trying to find this hotel until 4AM in the morning .

    *NO shuttlebuses or travel assistnace to the hotel, as we had to literally leave CDG airport.

    *Crying babies and mothers travelling alone forced to walk in the dark out in Paris and being harassed by homeless vagabonds

    *Non french speaking passengers handed vouchers and forced out of the desk area so your staff could expedite the voucher process and go home.

    *They laughed and ridiculed a crying single lady passenger who was experiencing an anxiety attack due to your inability to properly train your staff in crisis management and customer service.

    *This was a horrible experience for anyone who was forced off your plane , out of the airport and into Paris for 24 hours till you could rebook us onto the next flight to Johannesburg WITHOUT assistance or direction from your RUDE CDG staff.

    We missed connection flights.

    Were literally robbed of personal belongings in your shady hotel in Paris.

    Were forced to pay for new tickets for our connections…connections your incompetency caused us to miss.

    Were told numerous occasions by your staff that “re-booking onto the next avlble flight” was “not their job”, as they shrugged their shoulders and snarled at customers. You cancelled our flight..Of COURSE this was your job.

    Disgusting Disgusting .

    I will dedicate my time to sharing this entire experience with various media, magazines and publications and social media channels AROUND THE WORLD..- YES i have the time and dedication to do so.

    I guarantee you, the behaviour we witnessed and were subjected to would have differed greatly, had this been an American or European bound flight.

    Instead, this African city bound flight and its passengers received a message from you and your staff blatantly showing you did not give a crap about us or our money we spend with you every year.

    I have photos, and have journalistically captured this experience.

    I will not rest till you issue an apology for how your staff treated an entire fleet that night on

    Air France Flight Number 0990 departing CDG for Joburg Dec 5 2011.

    AND TO CROWN IT OFF, ONE SUITCASE GONE MISSING, APPARENTLY HASNT EVEN LEFT FRANCE YET IT CANT BE FOUND. TALK ABOUT WORLD TRACER…………….NO LUGGAGE FOUND STILL AND IT HAS ALL OUR FAMILY CHRISTMAS GOODIES IN IT. HOW ABOUT THAT, ALL OF US SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITH OUR FAMILY AFTER YEARS AND YEARS AND GUESS WHAT, FIRST WE DELAYED THEN OUR CHRISTMAS BAG GOES MISSING, HOW CONVENIENT.
