  2. I bought products from ULTA and they asked if I would like to receive free Allure magazine and now they are charging my banking account for the subscription, I did not give permission for them to use charge my account. I have tried calling to cancel, they ask for account number but magazine comes in plastic wrap, can’t find account to cancel. ULTA needs to be sued and Allure magazine.

  3. It is not rocket science that since the number is listed above – before anyone reads your comment – that they don’t need you to RE-WRITE it lol. It is also not rocket science that if Allure wasn’t sending a boatload of people who never subscribed to their magazine in the first place their magazine, then this page wouldn’t even be NEEDED. And I am implying that you are less than smart, as well as passive aggressive.

  4. I did not order this magazine and I do not wish to keep receiving it. I want my subscription cancelled and any money charged to my accounts refunded. This magazine subscription scam has got to stop. Maybe its time the State Attorney Generals’ office looked into this rip off.

  5. I have been trying for MONTHS to get this magazine THAT I NEVER ORDERED stopped and I am MAD MAD MAD!!! I would NEVER order this shallow garbage and I KNOW I NEVER gave Allure a credit card number in the first place. I am TIRED of having to call customer svd EVERY MONTH to inquire about this FRAUDULANT matter!!! I want my MONEY BACK and I NEVER want to see this crap in my mailbox again. DO YOU HEAR ME?????

  8. Nearly every time you visit Ulta, they ask you at the checkout if you want free magazines. I always say, “No.” When I visited Ulta inDecember, I was not asked about the magazines, and two-three weeks later, I got a bill for subscriptions to Glamour and Allure magazines. I called to cancel, telling them I’d never ordered any magazines, and the customer service rep with whom I spoke told me that the mailing info for the March magazines has already gone out, so I might get them, but I wouldn’t get any more. That was about a month ago.

One more issue of each magazine has shown up.

Today, I went online to check something in my checking account, and I saw there a $10.50 charge – on my debit card – to Allure Magazine. There was an 800 phone # listed on the transaction as well, so I called. The fellow I reached told me there was no subscription, so he asked for the last 4 digits of my card. Those digits enabled him to pull up a cancelled Glamour subscription and an ACTIVE Allure subscription, for a name that bore a slight resemblance to mine. (Idiots couldn’t even transcribe a name correctly!) He told me he would process a credit for that charge. When I asked him how in heck Allure got my DEBIT CARD # – he told me, “The Ulta store gives us those.”

    Oh my goodness!!!!!!

Beware of Ulta! I’m never going back again, except for one more visit to tell them off. And I just filed a complaint with my state’s Attorney General’s office.

  9. Hi all! I got signed up voluntarily but did not want the auto renew. I had also moved shortly after signing up and never really got to open one. I called the Allure customer service number posted a few comments below and within 5 minutes my auto renew was canceled, my address was changed and they gave me 5 free months for the issues I’d missed. They’re very easy to get ahold of and work with.
