  1. I was too scammed. I called immediatley to cancel the magazines, i was not told that they will transfer my credit card information over and start charging I was only told about the 4 free magazines. They lucky im not the type of person to just up and take they ass to court for personal information being tranferred.

  2. ULTA is a really bad store, they can give to another company their customer account number without the customer noticed and permission, it is a scam, i will never go back to that store again..

  3. I can’t imagine WHY this page is HERE…. I found the info FAST thru google… not implying that any of you are less than smart, but it’s not ROCKET SCIENCE….

  4. I bought some makeup at Ulta over a year ago and have been trying to cancel Allure and Glamour ever since! It was a very underhanded sales gimmick and the Ulta rep never told me that they would be charging my credit card each month! I finally got the credit and I will not go back to Ulta for cosmetics again.

  5. I made a purchase at Ulta was asked if I wanted 3 free magazines. I first said no thank you and she asked again so i said okay.. I have only received One MAGAZINE and yet my credit card was just charged for a renew that i did not ask for…

  6. I am in the same boat, I have been charged for a subscription that I do not want. Please cancel this immediately and refund my money! I see I am not the only person with this issue, and is practice needs to be stopped.

  9. I made a purchase at ULTA and then received four glamour/allure magzines. They’re supposed to be free, but you charged me somehow. Plz take me off the list!!! Could you please stop sending me the magzines? and I want my money back…

  12. I too made a purchase at Ulta and was told I would received four free issues, if I was not interested I could cancel and not be billed. I have been billed!!!! I too never authorized any charges on my credit card. Please note, I never even received the four free issues of either magazine.

    I am not interested in this!!! Please cancel my membership immediatley!!!!

  13. I also was an Ulta customer that was told I would get 4 free issues of Allure/glamor. I did sign up to get the 4 free magazines. I have yet to get 1 magazine and you turn around and charge my account. I never authorized this and am extremely craped off. I will be calling the customer service number for a refund and also contacting Ulta about this too. Apparently they think its ok to charge someones card without their permission especially when I NEVER gave them my payment information. Horrible absolutely horrible.

  14. Hello, I recently made a purchase at Ulta and received four free magazines in the mail over the past two months. The problem is, I called the automated system to have them canceled, as I cannot afford them at this time. Today I found out that I was billed for it anyhow. Please have the charges reversed immediately. I tried calling the 1-800 number, but never got an answer. I would appreciate it if you would attend to this matter promptly. I see from other comments made, that I am not alone in this. Thank you, Donna

  15. ULTA tells me I have recieved 4 FREE ISSUES of ALLURE MAGAZINE and I say sure. What they DID NOT TELL ME was that ALLURE is going to use the Credit Card I used today at ULTA to continue a SUBSCRIPTION I DID NOT WANT. DO NOT USE MY CREDIT CARD FOR A SUBSCRIPTION I DO NOT WANT!! do not send any copies of Allure or Glamour…..cancel the subscription

  16. Do you pay for readers letters that appear in “Mail”? I made the Apr issue but never heard a word, it was a complete surprise. ( a pleasant one )

  17. I received a gift at christmas that had a coupon for a free year subscription to Allure. When i tried to redeem the coupon the website wouldnt honor the coupon for some reason. I called the customer service number and to my surprise was only on hold for just a couple of minutes. The entire phone conversation only took about ten to fifteen minutes. The lady I spoke with was very sweet and helpful. She said she would submit the coupon for me and I should receive my first issue in 4 to 6 weeks. If anyone else has had a problem with the website I would strongly suggest calling the customer service number. Also, in order to get an actual person on the phone wait til the automated answering system asks for your account number and say you dont have 1. Even if you do.

  18. Thru Ulta I received 4 free preview issues and I would like to discontinue receiving the magaines. While I enjoy browsing through them, I am not interested in the content. Could you please no longer send me the magazines. Thanks very much for your attention to this matter.

  19. I MADE A PROCTER AND GAMBLE PURCHASE, THERE WAS A COUPON SHOWING ‘SPECIAL BONUS’ FOR ONE YEAR FREE SUSCRIPTION. SO, I ENTER THE INFORMATION AND THE PROMO CODE AND IT SAYS ALREADY BEEN USED….IS THIS A SCAM SO PEOPLE CAN LURE INTO BUYING YOUR PRODUCT? OR, YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE PULLING A MONKEY BUSINESS WHILE PACKAGING THE PRODUCT? I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK ANYMORE…BY WHAT I SEE YOU HAVE LOTS OF UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS…..VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I bought four olay gift sets with the intention of getting the free magazines for family members… The site to register for the magaiznes does not open which I think is deceptive advertising.Not very good public relations on the part of the company. Reading other reviews I think the company needs to do some positive public relations for awhile. Kat

  21. I was confused on an offer to subscribe for one year and receive a free gift. I called customer service and got wonderful, curtious, friendly and warm help from a rep. She was very helpful and I ended up getting a second year for just $6.oo more. Hope to continue to get same consideration and especially the great Beauty boxes the magazine offers.

  22. wow, the comment posted here on November 16th; I found the same. I went online to allure.com/go/holiday and found the webpage to be cancelled/expired. Ok now, it was a Christmas gift for me, December 25 and today January 12 and the webpage is cancelled/expired? Very wrong on Allure’s part. You shouldn’t put in advertisements and/or promotions or etc in your gift packages if you can’t guarantee its results.
