  1. Frist of all for everyone to know. Assurance is owned by Sprint now. Has been since Oct. last year. I have been with them for about 3 r 4 years. Last Oct. my signal faded out. I called many times. Finnally a woman from Sprint call. She said it was a problem with the tower. But it is not their tower. N she could not give me a timeline on when it would b fixed. That was 10 months ago. how long does it take to repair a tower, Forever?

  3. i was just on the phone with an customer service rep and he would not answer any of my questions about how can i get another phone because the one i had was taken by someone. Where are the experts and good customer service reps that you, Assurance Wireless suppose to have. That guy flat out told me that he was not going to answer ant of my questions because i should have kept up with the phone i had. Thanks Assurance Wireless for your poor Customer Service and therefore i rate you, ‘No Stars’.

  4. assurance wireless is just as full of bull as a Christmas goose . the people that you talk to you can’t understand a word they are saying and most definitely they don’t understand the basic English when you tell them the phone hasn’t worked or held a charged in about 2 months I have no reason to carry it around with me i am at church doing volunteer work the phone is at home and this guy tony is keep telling me to plug the phone into the computer so he can run a check on it through his computer i told him they have already done that and i was told i couldn’t get a new phone until august or go to Walmart and purchase one. i decided to wait until august now here is the run around again. i hungup in his face now i am going to call back and tell them i lost it and i am gonna see if they want me to plug in a lost phone to check it if they do that means they have one of the dumbest staff of employees you have ever seen that includes supervisors , owners, and stockholders . if you are one their many stockholders it is time to cash in before the company goes belly up and you are left holding a bag of worthless stock. i will let you know if i get any satisfaction .

  5. I have been trying to help a friend in another city with his phone problems and was told Saturday it was the battery and that they would send along a good battery but would have to call me back. No, call back; I called today 7 times but got busy messages. When I got through the lady asks me all kind of questions and they say I must have his phone in my hand for information. I am not able to drive 70 miles to another city to have his phone so it looks like this blind, sick 78year old person is just out of luck to be able to make any calls. I have had some luck in prior situations but as of today, nothing will be done. Why is the service so poor with sick and old people. There must be a better way to handle people in need.

  6. This company Assurance Wireless a government taxpayer supported program…has now turned into a for profit money making scheme for Virgin mobile…their customer service representatives are now trained to make re-certifying impossible by giving ridiculous excuses…

    1- oh we never received your application

    2- oh we did receive your application…( But you didn’t include proper dostuffents)…

    3- oh OK we found your application, your service will be restored within 48hrs………Not—>>>SUCKER!…..agents laughing in the background!

    4- we never received the replacement dostuffents you faxed us…

    5- we will send you a new application…..hehe!

    Just a really PATHETIC attempt to exploit the poor and indigent population into forking over their last few bucks by holding their messages ransom till they buy a Virgin Mobile Top Up card to retrieve your information….

    thus making your once FREE government LifeLine phone in a For Profit Pay As you go money making scheme for Richard Branson…

    his last money making scheme…Flying The Rich & Famous…aka (the 1%)

    Was a catastrophe which literally BLEW UP ….In his face??

  7. Trying to reach you to get 4 digit pin for my account so I can add minutes to my phone, but without the 4 digit number, I can’t reach you. Have tried phone numbers listed but get nowhere as I don’t have the 4 digit pin. Any help would be great.

I am not HAPPY I added a unlimted 30 dollar to seach web and to download music and the lady said oh sure you can and I told her are you sure I have this phone I just bought from you people and she said yes…I can never understand half the employees there but she assured me I could do it all…low and behold tried for a half hour or longer and nothing so I called and wanted a refund cause no use to me….and wow what a shock…..the supervisor was a total ass…..very unperfessional and rude……he said cant refund because I used some of the mega bites oh well it is unlimted and I had to to find out it don’t work…….very unhappy then he gave me corps address and its the wrong one………

  11. Why is it when you need to speak to a representative, all you get is someone who can not speak very good English or can not give you the information you need?

  12. Just FYI – Assurance wireless is a subsidiary of Virgin Mobile, which leases excess capacity from the Sprint network. That in no way excuses their pi** poor customer service.

    It is a shame that Sir Richard Brandon values the sick, disabled and/or poor so little that he split off this shoot so that the cra*py treatment by this company doesn’t effect Virgin Mobile’s reputation. But that doesn’t keep him from taking the payment from the gvt. each and every month.

  13. Sprint overall is a awful company. I have had to send and fax numerous applications and still to date no free phone. I contacted Sprint in Kentucky. No returned calls.

  14. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO ACQUIRE A PHONE SINCE LATER PART OF NOVEMBER OF 2013. I HAVE SENT NUMEROUS APPLICATIONS AND EVERYONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY RUDE!! IF I DID NOT NEED THIS PHONE I WOULD NOT BOTHER! WHO DO WE COMPLAIN TOO….DOES THE US KNOW THEY ARE TREATING THEIR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS SO RUDE!

  15. I hate assurance, they sent me 4 broken phones and none of them work. When someone calls me the phone goes to the mute position or the speaker phone turns itself to the off position and I cannot hear anyone and locks itself. I have now had 4 phones do this and had to return 4 phones do this and assurance keeps sending me the same lousy phones and I spend endless hours on the phone with them troubleshooting problems with these phones and the problems never got resolved and I ended up with more broken phones. Horrible service, I wish I had never gone with them.
