  1. The worst service ever!!! I had to purchase another desk top computer due to ConnecTech remoting in on my computer! I would not recommend this service to anyone!!! Very Disappointed! AT&T is a highly reputable company, I had no idea they would allow, or provide this service that is a nightmare! First of all I was misinformed by an AT&T Representative in reference to this service!They have been working on my case since March 2014, still no issues resolved as of May 5, 2014. My experience with ConnecTech, very unprofessional, a RIP OFF! You always end up with someone that doesn’t even speak English, very frustrating!!!!!!! Still waiting for a case manager to return my call!

  2. I have been on the computer with a Connect technician who has done wonderful things for my computer. He wanted to do System Restore, but said that we might get disconnected and that I should call me back. I pushed buttons and talked to machines for 20 Minutes trying to get back to him, but was totally frustrated after going through the ATT phone system three times and never reaching him. He did such great work that I wanted to thank him but was unable to do so. His name is Kevin Reed. He deserves a lot of praise for his technical ability in getting my computer back to usable condition after I clicked on a scam that froze it. Thank you Connect Tech and Kevin Reed. I am just sorry that I could not get back to you. Next time you call the client back. It is impossible for a client to get through the ATT maze and back to you. You might like to know that I was able to use Internet Explorer.

  3. Connect Tech has taken a payment for 9 months, no problem. My card date expired and they wanted me to add a new card with the new expiration date. I did. I called the bank to make sure everything on it’s end was ok. It was. Connect Tech is telling me that my card is a gift card, it is NOT. They refuse to help or can’t seem to fix thier own computer system. They keep sending a “Fail To Pay” to my email so I sent it to Junk. My first payment was 12-30-11 for 12 months of service. They told me I will make my last payment 12-30-12. That will make 13 payments and put me into the 2cd year by fraud. That’s when WE go to Federal court if not before. I called AT&T in Dallas about the problem and filed a BBB report. For people that are suppose to be smart—well, I don’t think so or they are trained to rip people off. I am disabled and they know it. AT&T and Connect Tech,a partner of AT&T do not like disabled people. Just like Mitt.

  4. I have made several attempts to reach the 800 connectech phone line. I can’t seem to get past the automated language point. This makes me seriously consider other companies that friends have told me consistently stand by their promise. I’m just not happy with the service (or nonservice) should I say. I can get faster service outside of this company and would not recommend this service to anyone at this point. I am highly disappointed in this service.

  5. THEIR CUSTOMER RUN AROUND IS WHAT I CALL IT. THEY MAY NEED TO LOOK INTO HAVING A CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE DEPT. THAT CAN HANDLE ALL ISSUES INSTEAD OF BEING TRANSFERRED AROUND, THIS SEEMS TO ME TO BE A WAY OF MAKING CUSTOMERS UPSET WITH NO ONE WHO KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON, UTILMATELY PEOPLE HAVE OTHER OPTIONS AND THEY USUALLY TAKE THEM TO AVOID THE HASSLE OF THE RUN AROUND. COME ON ATT YOU HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS MANY YEARS YOU SHOULD HAVE A BETTER CLUE.

  6. att has the worse billing department. I good due a better job then them I am disable and they have given me a deal i can afford then they bill me 4x amount that they said it would be. I am highly intillgent won my own disability with no laywer because they said i would not get it. so when i talk to companies i am no dummy and will get them one way or another.

  7. Up until today 4/15/2012, I have had good service with connect tech. Now I am told that iI will have to wait for an hour or more before I can chat with a representative. This is not the kind of service that I pay for every month. If I had time to wait I could take my computer to the shop to be fixed. Service is not good if I have to wait that long for service.

  8. when i signed up for att services the sales promised me things to be done the rest of att said impossible after 5 hours of phone calls 1 was resolved the other i am still trying to get att to pay $200 for fixing a wire problem they flat lied to me about i called many times and got hung up on 2 times being transfered and 1 time with a lady who could of cared less about me or my problem but i will not quit until att pays me for what sale said they would do

  9. BEWARE! The worst service EVER!

    I called them about connection issues and the agent that I spoke to cherged me with 12-months Support package without my authorization. I spent around 4 hrs on the phone and made couple of claims, but they never removed it. Finally I just discontinued my phone and DSL and I will never go back.

  10. I have called 3 times and still haven’t had any help. this service is horrible they made my problem 10 times worst. The first day I was on the phone 3hrs the second day 2 1/2 hours, the third day on hold 1hr then I hung uo on hold now day 4

  11. Good Luck! In March, ConnecTech damaged my computer to the point of me having to replace it! They have made several promises, I have seen nothing yet! I was on the phone with them for hours, total NIGHTMARE! I thought AT&T would be providing excellent service, as they have done in the past, ConnecTech is ruining their reputation very quickly! I will never allow them to remote into my computer ever again. To top that off they have my mobile number as a second contact number, and my smart phone started behaving poorly also. Come on AT&T, get REAL! And drop ConnecTech, they don’t know what they are doing, and give you the run around! They mess up your computer, and just leave you hanging, and there several ConnecTech technicians had me in tears, and to top that off, they were actually laughing at me, so uncalled for!!!!!!!

  14. I am having a battle to get something done. I have called every day for a week and get promises but nothing else. This service is a royal ripoff. ATT should be ashamed to have their name associated with it.
