  1. i have had comcast for years and it the worst cable ph internet ever been over a month this time my services are acting up and there office set appointment they don’t keep then say oh there was no appointment ya right last time took then 2 years to figure it out and now again it’s out but they remind you your bill due this it if i don’t get answers service it’s time for a lawyer i’m sick of paying full high price for crappy services take note comcast i’m done!

  2. Have noticed lately that Comcast has an issue with Fox News and Fox business channels. They freeze and mute, I checked with other channels and there is nothing wrong. I am a paying customer and I pay to watch what I want to watch. This is not acceptable. Tomorrow I’m looking for rates with their competition. A very unhappy trouper

  3. Seriously terrible service- I am not sure why we have problems with our internet all the time. It can’t be that hard to answer the phone when I call-can it be? Soooo sorry I left dish net. WHAT was I thinking!!!!

Comcast customer service is like obamacare website…..nothing works, lied about available 24 hrs? waited over an hour for them to call me, never did. called back, waited another 20 minutes before I manage to get someone to talk to about the internet service and they tried to sell me extra service? When I complaint about the service, they hung up. No thanks, think I’ll go with Comcast competitor

  5. YESTERDAY, VETERANS DAY 11/11/13,I HAD THE PLEASURE OF HAVING MR. DAN LEARY TECH #11424 COME TO MY HOUSE AND PERFORM A SERVICE CALL ON MY PATIO COMCAST BOX. IT ENDED UP BEING A BAD BOX PLUS A WEAK SIGNAL FROM MY BRANCH CABLE FROM MY THREE WAY SPLITTER OUTSIDE. THIS YOUNG MAN I PERSUMED TO BE A VETERAN BY HIS LOOKS, HIS CLEANCUT APPERANCE BOTH UNIFORM AND HAIR, AND HIS PROFESSIONALISM. WE HAD AN IMMEDIATE BOND AS I AM A RETIRED CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT USAFR, AND VIETNAM VETERAN FROM 1968, DAN IS AN EX MARINE. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB REPLACING THE THREE WAY SPLITTER AND GROUND BLOCK PLUS ALL NEW WETHER TIGHT END CONNECTIONS AND TESTED ALL THE SIGNALS. COMCAST NEEDS TO GROOM AND MENTOR YOUNG INDIVIDUALS AND VETERANS LIKE DAN TO MOVE UP INTO HIGHER POSITIONS LIKE SUPERVISORS OR TECHNICAL TRAINERS, AND LOOK DOWNRANGE TO EMPLOY THESE FOLKS FOR THE LONG HAUL. THIS YOUNG MAN OF TWO YEARS SERVICE WITH COMCAST IS AN ASSET TO YOUR COMPANY.

  6. I see that there are some really bad comments about COMCAST. I get it, but I will tell you this…COMCAST has been very good and very kind to me.

    I have had excellent service with them everywhere I’ve lived that I bought their service.

    You don’t have to worry about a satellite going out. Their internet service is LIGHTNING FAST!! For downloads, they get done very quickly and can even do a couple at a time.

    Once I had a mean lady on the phone and she had lied to me. When I called back, I spoke to another representative who was sooooo nice.

    She gave me a cheap rate for internet and for my digital package for cable that had great stations and ON DEMAND!

    I never saw hidden charges in my bills. Whenever I called them about my bills or technical assistance, I got through very quickly and they were there for me every time. Even the ladies where I returned my box in Davie, FL were soooo nice to me. It is a pleasure to deal with the people at COMCAST, even their Executive level people are kind and helpful.

    My only wish is for COMCAST TO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring jobs back into the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WHERE THEY ARE SO DESPERATELY NEEDED FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. PLEASE GUYS, HAVE A HEART AND GIVE OUR PEOPLE JOBS. “CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME!”

    May the LORD GOD bless you COMCAST. I personally thank you for all the nice, kind people that I’ve dealt with at your company and I’m sorry for any trouble others have had.

  7. my complaint finally (hopefully temporarily resolved after several calls taking quite a bit of my time! finally samantha rewind and gave me somewhat a solution ,but will find out when i go to pay my bill ! i was quoted $46.20 total after aug bill –got bill for $67.45 –several attempts to get this resolved when told it would be $46,20 that is only with an increase for digital adaptor ! kept getting “NO” or “CAN’T” NOT what can we do u are a valuble customer ! took several again several calls before i got “We will give u what you were quoted -$46.20” principle to me don’t say $46.20,then not only go up $21 but tell me nothing can be done ! i am a good customer –tell me we don’t wanna lose you –what can we do ! right or no ??

  8. Had a appointment today – they never showed. Called to speak to someone was told I didn’t have a appointment today – one was never scheduled. Nice!!!! Stayed home from work waited for two hours and no one showed and I guess no one was going to show. What a way to run a business.

    So I lose 3 hours of pay – who do they think supports their company! Not their

    rude employees but the people paying for the services they provided.

    I am cancelling mine today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  9. I just received service and a date for installation . The installation date is for Sunday September 8. What I need is to report that I gave you the wrong address. The adderess that is currently on my account is Stockton, CA 9510: The correct address is 8165 . Stockton, CA 95210 Please change the Address prior to installation date. Also I would like to know about the dvr.;

  10. Service appointment scheduled between 5 and 7 p.m. today to add Comcast phone service. I had to leave work early to go sit at my house and wait for 2 hours. No one showed up; no one called. I called Comcast a little after 7, and sat on hold for 30 minutes before I finally got to “Emily” who, while being extremely cordial, could not help me at all. She ASSURED me that she had “escalated” my issue and that someone from Comcast would call me as soon as we hung up to reschedule my appointment. Ha. 30 minutes and no phone call later, I called back, waited on hold another 15 minutes to get to another rep who, again, was very polite, but could not speak English without a very thick, hard to understand accent. By this time (9:15 p.m), my ear is sore, I’ve been told that my issue has once again been escalated, but nothing can be done until “someone” from Comcast calls me by 5:05 p.m. tomorrow. No wonder there are so many bad reviews!

  12. I went home for lunch and notice my cabel was out after returning to work I call Comcast and they said it was shut off……… for non-payment. I spoke with 4 different customer service people not one of them could help,two of them could not even get my acct to come up in the system telling me I had my account number incorrect. I had a print out of my bank statement showing that I paid my bill so after being transfered to diffferent people because no one could help m, I decided to go to the comcast center in my area. I went through the whole ordeal all over again demanded they turn my cabel back on. Finally the person in this office made copies of my bank statement put a ticket in, turn my service on and an hour later found out my payment was sent to a different acccount. I have yet to receive a phone call appoligizing for their screw up. I’m going to Direct TV, don’t no if it will be any better but I’m done dealing with Comcast. Thank you Tracy in the Lock Haven office for helping me out.

  13. I had comcast internet installed 3 weeks ago. My internet bandwidth has been extremely low. I’ve had 4 technicians here. None have solved them problem. Then a tech person called me. I described the problem. He said he would follow up with me in 2 days after tracking my speed via my mac address.

    He never followed up.

    This is just beyond ridiculous. I am so disappointed at their lack of competency and professionalism.

  14. i have not had sound on my tv for 2 hrs. i have called in for help. waited for a long period of time and have been disconnected 4 times. i am currently on hold again.

  15. last week my bill has jacked up,i have talked to an emplyee, who adjust my bill my giving me a new pro-rated available program, that same employee told me if i have not received a new bill to call to find out my new charges, today , I called to find out that my bill remains the same, what is going on with cutomer service?

  16. Slow service from Comcast, I’m going to try Uverse.

    They are only fast at jacking up your bill. I have an HDTV receiver type RNG200 that I have been trying to get initialized to no avail for a few days. I suppose it is time to give Uverse a try

    every rep you talk to get there name and company rep # not phone number every rep is assigned a number now document all the problems clearly and secifically and take them to your local court ad sew them, my friend did and she got 9,000,ps send the complaine to your local office by the time corporate gets it court will rule in your favor. those idiots

  18. TODAY IS 01/03/13 AND I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR OVER 2HOURS WAITING TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE IN THE CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT! THIS IS SAD, WHAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO IS STOP PAYING THE BILL WITH COMCAST, TAKE THE HIT AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

  19. We have had SEVERAL issues with Comcast over the past couple of months. I made a payment & it was taken out of my account on 12/21/12 & is still not showing up on my bill. We went at it with the people in India for 2 hours & they did absolutely NOTHING. Finally we went to our local office & she turned our cable back on after I showed her where it came out of my account on my phone. If these issues keep happening we will be switching to Dish!!!!! It is ridiculous they outsource to other countries when there are too many people that need jobs in the United States.

  20. Long Time Comcast Customers without service over Christmas

    We have been customers since 1993. The bills have been paid on time, every time since then. We came home from work yesterday and all the boxes (4) were off with a message. We called and talked to idiots with scripts in various third world countries to no avail. Now they tell me they cannot come out until 12-24-12. We have people at our house for the holidays. This is unacceptable service. We will switch services if we have to wait that long during these holidays with no television service.

    I signed up for comcast and told them i need service at my physical address and be billed at my mailing. after 2 months of service i hadnt recieved a bill. i called over and over again. they finally shut me off. i called them to see why. they said because they didnt recieve money from me. then they said theyve been billing to my physical address. now i have collection agencies calling me for for payments. f you comcast! it was your f up! i shouldnt owe you anything! i going to dish!!

  22. My Experience with the Comcast Customer Service Department 12.27.12

    Blank: The previous account in this address still has an unpaid balance that needs to be processed first before you can set up your services.

    ME: i have never had service with you and i dont pay other peoples bill

    ME: order confirmation number is

    Blank: I understand your concern, ME.

    ME: Blank: Yes, that’s the address shown on the system.

    ME: and it is my house, i do not out owe you anything, i have never had a bill with you,

    Blank: I am sorry for the confusion, ME. The previous account is not under your name.

    Blank: However, the previous account holder has not paid the balance yet. You need to wait for the balance to be paid first by the account holder since the system will not allow us to proceed in completing the order.

    ME: well then just cancell it i do not know who’s bill it is but, i Have dish i guess i will stay with them,

    Blank: Not a problem for the order has already been cancelled since the address has an existing account with balance still.

    ME: will you needed to figure out how to handle those type iusse’s because you just lost a customer.

    ME: because some else lived in my house before i bought it.

    Blank: I totally understand your concern, We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Thank you for the suggestions. I’ll have it noted.

    ME: i want a supervisor to call me,

    Blank: Should you need to speak with a supervisor directly, kindly call 800-266-2278 or 800-934-6489 from Monday to Friday during business hours. I apologize but we are unable to make an outgoing call here since we are from the Chat Support team.

    Arnold: you can be sure i will call because this is total wrong you needed track down who owes you and not try to deny service to some one who does not.

    Blank: I truly apologize, ME. I would love to assist you further with your request, however, the system will not allow us to proceed in doing so for there is still a closed account that has not been settled yet on the said address.

    ME: it needs to be who owes you not the address

    Blank: The account holder of this account needs to settle the balance first before a service can be installed on the said address.

    Arnold: well i do not know who that is

    Arnold: and then you should send it to a bill colector, you are losing customers because of your practice.

    Arnold: this is a long way from being over i will be calling a supervisor and if that does no good i will go all the way to the top.

    Blank: Yes, this has been forwarded to the Collections Department, ME. The Collections department are now taking appropriate action in collecting the unsettled balance.

    ME: well then collections should no that it is an old bill.
