  1. The service is bs I bought a 50$ cricket card and it says it has been used? I’m so sick of the run around I want my damn money back.And to talk to someone over15 that is a us citizen.

  2. Just obtained a cricket phone last evening and tried to cancel before even walking out of cricket store. I wanted to cancel because I refuse to give a credit card number they and possible hackers have access to. They did tell me this is their usual process of payment plan, but would be able to met my payment needs by mailing check. All they would refund is the price of phone and case, not the first months service fee of $50.00. They provided me a customer service number that is automated and will only allow upgrades. Searched internet for a customer service number and it is a sales loop. CRICKET APPEARS TO BE A CORPORATE MONEY MAKING SCAM. So far in first day, I also have had trouble with 3 attempted calls going thru. Unfortunately going to have to go back to Verizon. Just like picking a president, bank, etc. Pick the lessor of the evils.

  3. I totally agree with you. I changed from verison to cricket in sept. To save on my cell phone bill. I was assured I would have good reception because they said they share Verison towers. I live in a three story house and could only get okay reception on my top floor. Two weeks ago I took my granddaughter from Omaha, Ne. To Colorado Springs, Co. for spring break. I was unable to get reception on my phone from western Ne. on to Colorado springs. This was very frustrating since we had a couple of emergencies along the way. Not a safe situation. I switched back to Verison yesterday. I don’t like their prices but they so have good reception. I only used 4 days of my prepaid service this month and was hoping to get my unused portion of what I paid back. Needless to say it is not their policy to give any refund back. It also took me at least two hours to get through to a live person with their so called customer service today. Very poor service. I have again learned that you get what you pay for.

  4. There is no customer service at Cricket Wireless. I bought a new phone and cannot get my number changed from my old phone to my new phone. When you call customer service you can barely understand them. They tell you to wait till the next day, the next day they tell you to wait for the next day, etc. You try to talk to a manager but can’t get one. I have been a loyal customer for many years and this is how you get treated. I probably won’t be a customer for even another month.

  5. I am beyond frustrated with this company. They hire kids to help you. “we cannot help you on the phone. Come to the store. We cannot help you at the store use the 1800 #. Who told me to use the internet . Which is where I started. So they told me to try tomorrow. Which is today and I am getting the same merry chase. I have been rude to and hung up on. I am going back to Verizon.

  6. One of my worst experiences in recent years was attempting to set up WI FI hotspot. There were many phone calls (5 at least) over many hours (5?) and the job remains undone. Interestingly to me was the fact that each of the 5 people to whom I spoke gave me different instructions as to how to set up the APP. They all started with SYSTEMS, but varied dramatically from there on. Each assured me that they’d do their best to tale care of my problem, to make me a satisfied customer. The more I expressed my disappointment and anger, the more each sweetly assured me that it was only a matter of time before my problem would be solved. The last young woman finally suggested I take the phone to the Cricket store, which I will do. I am wondering which of the 5 paths to correction will be taken there, or if the representative will come up with a 6th solution. I just hope the job gets done.

  7. More of the same sh-t these people should be disbanded. ‘Im changing my phone service and will gladly take a contract after two months of merry go round hell with extremely inept, customer service reps and managers. Their HQ number does not exist. They have NO HELP for you whatsoever.

    I am also posting this message online in other areas so as cricket cannot use my information to bully me like they have with others.

  9. Transferring from our previous cellular company has been a plain nightmare. Don’t talk to anyone in the Phillipines because they don’t know shi_t. We’ve been five days now and still our telephone number has not been ported.

    What a GD joke. It better get better or we are going to be an ex Cricket customer.

  11. I purchased a new phone @Cricket. Less than a mo later, trying to pay my bill, early as usual, and found they had cancelled my service…according to CS. To reactivate, they are forcing me to change my number and the phone is not even working now. I cannot reach anyone to talk to and am extremely frustrated after spending more than an hr on this AND NOW I don’t even have a working phone!!! I have tons of business to do, that is now on hold/ thank u very much!! Of course, I’ll have to go to the dealer tomorrow…hopefully to resolve; frankly, I have my doubts. Good luck to you 🙂

    Oh, and once you transfer your number expect that you will not be able to access your web account or even the phone tree, effective immediately.

  13. first day of 2015. Paid my cricket bill with a bridge pay and as of today, no service even though I received an email confirmation that my service was uninterrupted.

    Literally hundreds and hundreds of calls are been forwarded to my number each day without my consent.

    This is disrupting my business and is having a negative impact on revenue.

    The Cricket phone number is: 443-555-5555 (Annapolis, MD area). This number has been verified by a paid phone number search from a reliable source.

    The FCC has already been notified.

  15. minus negative ..how low can u go..was trying to pay my bill early oh for gods sake don’t ever do that,,,,fubars the whole system..to make a long story short and more boring they ended up charging my Amex account 4 times in the amount of less than a minute and then they suspended my card d t the excessive charges in less than a minute $55 a pop. now my Amex account is FUBARed bc it looks as tho to them Amex peepa…that I planned this and i charged my own card back to back to back right. im so craped off still i can barely type this but do not ever use cricket…unless u enjoy being treated with no respect, treated as tho you at the second class citizen, their recording is so offensive and they teach the CSRs the same response…there is no deviation you will never win succeed or have them understand you. I wish there was an English speaking phone company honestly A T & T ranks almost the same….this totally blows chunks

  16. I upgraded my phone plan and phone to the NEW Cricket. I spoke to 4 different NEW Cricket Reps and got 3 different answers. I spoke to 2 different OLD Cricket Reps and got 2 different answers. I always have trouble with the Customer Service Reps. On my scale, their Rate Plans are a 10. The Old Cricket Service Reliability was 7. I haven’t had the NEW Cricket long enough to rate it. Their Customer Service on both the OLD and NEW is MINUS 10! They never solved my 2 problems.

    At the store I went to change over, the girl stated one price for my trade-in phone and only on certain phones. When I presented the Cricket Coupon, I still couldn’t get it taken off the phone I wanted. I didn’t trade-in my old phone. When I went back to the store try to straighten out the first two problems and question about the coupon refusal, the store manager quoted me a lower price for the phone trade-in. I still kept my old phone and the coupon for future issues.

    Overall, Cricket Customer Service is worthless.!

  18. I went to a Cricket Store to upgrade to the New 4G as requested because soon the old phones wont work anymore.

    I am a US Citizen and I live in Tijuana, Mexico. I explain to the Salesperson where I lived. She Sold me 2 Phones, one for myself and one for my wife. I have a web based Business and the Phone Service is an Important part of my Business. The phones don’t work in Mexico, and I can not got back to my old cricket account. I am without phone service completely. I can get a Refund on the phones, but there is a $25.00 restocking fee for each phone, the accessories and SIM Cards are not Refundable. I will be out $150.00 dollars on this Sale.

    I am Losing Business as I cant be Contacted. Cricket don’t Care. All I can get is: I am Very Sorry for that Sir;

    The Cricket Representative made the Sale knowing where I live. She told me she could not Legally tell me that the phones would work in Mexico. She did not Say: They wont work in Mexico. She wanted the Commission from the Sale and proceeded with the sale anyway. This was at the FREETEL Inc. at 1000 Highland Ave in National City, CA. I went to upgrade to 4G, and got Ripped off $150.00 and now I am without phone service.

Removal of services; I had a Tragedy in my life which I lost everything including phone numbers that were not saved in a cloud nor backed up, On August the 21st of 2015 I called 411 from my Cricket phone to to locate a couple of my friends, to my surprise that service no longer exists, when I left Verizon in August of 2007 to move to Cricket I found the services equivalent to Verizon, I am 60 years of age vision not the greatest I went to the library to use their computer to locate a customer service phone number to call cricket since there was no available way to my knowledge to call cricket customer service from my phone the best I came up with was a chat box the reply was that service no longer exists, does that mean every provider does not have 411?.

  20. Cricket IPhone Service is basically buyer beware. I was able to upgrade my service a few months ago and filled in all the paperwork at the store. They use outside financers so you have to set up directly with them for payment for the device. When I called the financers they said the representative in the store did not send in all the information so they have no record of me in their system. After going back to the store the issue still was not resolved but even though I was on automated bill pay and they were taking money for service every month and sending text confirmations nothing was ever said. A few days ago my service was suspended without warning and when I called to find out why since they had taken the automated bill pay, they said my service was 447 in the arrears. Furhter inquiry found that it was for the device and not the service. When I called the financers they told me once again they had a 0 balance for me because there was no record of me in their system. I called the 611 number again and they kept me on hold for 15 minutes before telling me they had no record of my paperwork being filed with them so I should go back to the local office. I went to the local office and the same rep that did my paperwork was handling a contract with someone else. I spoke with the manager directly because I knew he was aware of my presentation. He looked on the computer and after a few minutes told me that I had to pay 452 and the matter would be clear and my service would be restored. I asked him why there was no record with the financers and he said because it kicked back to Cricket. I was about to ask why they had no record at 611 about the taking charge of the account, but then he said something that had me dumbfounded. He told me that in order to have service restored, I would have to come to his office this coming Friday and see him and only him in the company and he would be able to restore my service and could even give me a free month of service. I left and came back home and called 611 again, my 7th time that day, and spoke at length to one of the supervisors there. I had called to ask for information about contacting their complaints department, because there is something shady going on in that office. I spoke with her for a half hour to 45 minutes to explain the issue and she said she was typing the information as we spoke and was sending an email to corporate and that she would send me an email for reply to all when they investigated the issue. She credited me 14 for the week they took from me and gave me a 24 hour extension on my phone. She also told me that when the service was terminated after 24 hours that I could set up a Bridge Pay for 17 that would carry me until this Saturday. When I reported to work last Saturday I lliked up my account and saw that all of the transactions they say I owe were entered on the same day 5/30, not continually. It also said I my future bill was 67 and that I owed 438 for the phone. I printed a copy of my account summary for my records and sent it to myself as email and to a friend to keep safe for my records. This morning I wake up and my service is suspended. I try to activate a Bridge Pay and was not eligible, so I called 611 again. And to see the status of my complaint. They said that I am not eligible for a Bridge Pay until Satuday, when I had planned to pay my bill Friday, so I won’t have service with them for a week. Not only do they not care that there is something going on in one of their local offices, when you call 611, no one can tell you anything or do anything at that level. I even went back to their site to see if I could find this corportate office and they have an address in Georgia and a 855 number. They also have a chat service for more effective and efficient service. Since I had no intention of just venting to another powerless employee, I asked if there was a chat to the Customer Complaints Division or an email. They said there was not. Needless to say that Cricket is really taking advantage of people who they believe are vulnerable for cell phone service. Luckily I can get service elsewhere because I will not just give my money to support this elaborate scam by their local office, and when it’s reported to corporate they seem not to care either. I am just comforted that I was able to obtain these records for my personal records just in case something bigger comes from this. A paper trail is the best way to keep yourself protected. I asked the supervisor this morning that I talked to why would I request a Bridge Payment for Saturday if I was going to pay my bill on Friday and he just went through the usual sorry sales pitch that they give, so I just told him that he can count it as a loss because if they want to inconvenience me after I report a mishandling of my paperwork from one of their employees and this employee is still pushing papers for other customers without any redirection and there are records of my calling to inform them at customer service about this situation and they cannot resolve the problem. They don’t deserve my cash or access to my bank records any more; because they employ thieves and incompetent workers and obviously their mangagment does not care.
