  1. I received a Cuddeback Extended Range IR camera for Christmas from my husband. I always go with Moultrie, but he knew not to spend to much so he bought one of these (on sale) just recently could I get up to set it up, due to snow.I went to download pics and all it had was question marks on it. Am I suppose to format the SD card? It doesn’t say anything in the booklet, course your instructions couldn’t be more complicated. If I’m paying a lot of money for a camera, I should be able to just put batteries in, turn it on and go, unless I want special items on it. So what do I do about the question marks??????

  2. Cuddeback digital viewers are a POS. From the start I had trouble with my viewer. It never read cards right and then when I asked cudde about it they said use the bigger card that fits in it. So I go and spend more money buying the new card to dowload from the card in the cam. Guess what!!! It could not read that card at all!! it could half ass the the reg cards. I will never buy another product with cuddeback on it.

  3. I have a cuddleback attack ir that i sent back once already and it worked about a week and started taking black night pictures again. Been using my moultrie as i needed something to work. I need to send this camera back or get my money back, or a camera that works. Feed up with trying to use it.

  4. I need a bracket for a Cuddeback and cannot find one. I called the support line and could not understand the first guy I talked to. I asked if there was someone who spoke better English. He said to call back, the second person said it is not a support question. I just bought a new Cuddeback yesterday. I’m going to return it.

  5. I never say much to anybody if something stinks or is not right unless it is real important. I am writing you this note to let you know that I feel your game cameras are way over rated , my son in law, and my self purchased 4 of the model 1187 a year or two back all of them turned out to be useless. I know we could have baught the cheapest thing around , and got better service than we got from these not even 1 good hunting season . I am not calling or writing that I want money ,or anything as far as that goes just to let you know how disappointed I am in your product I promise I will not buy any more nor recommend these to a soul.

  8. I bought a new Cuddeback camera in March, used it for the 1st time in August, it would not take pictures. Sent it back, their customer service group said I had voided warranty by drilling 2 holes in the back of the plastic and it has battery acid, with NEW batteries. They are trying to get me to purchase a new for for 50% off, i never even used it in the woods. I will say this, if this is what they call customer service, they will never get another nickle of my money unless they replace the unit for free.

  9. If you are smarter then a ROCK, Cuddeback camera’s are not that hard to maintain. I found that the up-grade are easy to install, service was every great. Ben using Cuddeback’s for the last 14 year’s some issue’s YES !. Nothing that we didn’t work-out, plan on checking my game with Cuddeback’s. WHY CHANGE WHAT WORKS !!! Roadkill

  10. Cuddeback cameras are the worst thing I have ever bought. So I bought a moultrue this year and it is the best camera I have ever had! I even called them because I had a question about it and they walked me through my question on the phone. Moulrie is where it’s at! Cuddeback cameras are a waste of your hard earned money!

  11. I have owned cuddes for 8-9 yrs a ( own 2) and every year i have to send 1 in to either fix or replace, the camera takes good pictures when they work .But there never in the woods!!!! Then they change the style of them so you have to buy a new bear box everytime you buy a new camera..I see why they moved the company out of Park Falls, how long before they move again?

  12. I went through 4 camera’s in 1 year 2 years ago. Last year i bought 5 and they are all still working because none of them are cuddle backs.

  13. I bought a cuddeback for my husband for Christmas, sent in the warranty card and the card was returned to me for wrong address that was written on card by cuddeback. How are we supposed to warrant this camera?

  14. How come we cannot ever find the person who owns the company? I would love to ask him or the CEO or the President of the company…some very pointed and product related questions. He is a ghost, he doesnt want to be bothered by customers concerns.

    I would encourage him, if he reads this, to email me at @yahoo.com regarding some of my concerns with their products.

    P.S. I am a die-hard customer and have purchased several of their cameras. I am somewhat dissatisfied with some of the things this company states and how its products perform. Who better to hear it from…than the person in the field using the products?
