  1. Just moved my service. Jared came to install it and he was awesome. If Jared was the only person I had to deal with I would award 20 stars but since I have to deal with customer service and listen to 13 options of which none apply to my request then wait on hold waiting for someone to help me and then they don’t ; I have to award 2 stars. Spend some of the money that we pay for service to hire people to help the customers!

  5. I was very hesitant when I learned that my apartment complex had only Direct TV service. Because every time it snows, we have no service connection. Not good for Colorado! It is a shame that they have a monopoly in Parker. What a deal for them at the expense of their customers.

  6. I want express my concern with the way you handle a repeat and loyal customer. Before agreeing to a new 2 year contract I express interested in the NFL Ticket, and the agent at that time said they could not do anything for me, but in the future there probably will be some discounts. Today I got a call from my good friend saying that Direct TV gave him the NFL Ticker for $62 total plus 3 free months of HBO and SHOWTIME and that I should call. Now I must say I really hate calling, because it seems like every time I attempt to call there is always a reason why I can’t be helped. (As a customer this is not a very good feeling when calling any company!) But with that being said I decided to give it a try anyway. I mention to the agent Ruth that I am calling about the deal my friend got on the NFL Ticket. She just ignored my comment, and continued with her pitch of $42 per month. I again mentioned that I was calling on a deal my friend received today, but she basically said she couldn’t help me out! I then attempted to speak to a supervisor Joseph, and he just gave me the run a round on why he can’t help me!! I wasn’t even asking for it to be free, I just wanted to feel like I was getting a good deal like my friend did. I wasn’t even asking for HBO or Showtime either. In act I PAY for HBO!

    I am sorry to say it really feels like Direct TV doesn’t even care about me as a customer probably because you already got me to commit for 2 more years and now you don’t need to worry about me! It is tough knowing my friend is paying way less and getting much more than me.

    I enjoy your service even though in FL it cuts out a lot due to all the rain we get down here. I will continue to have hope that one day I can get a deal like all my friends do.

  7. I agreed to the $15.00 discount for a 2 year commitment. Less than 24 hrs later I called back asking to be taken off. I was told that there was no way to do this since I had already agreed. I told them that I wasn’t even in the system yet . I spoke to a supervisor who offered other discounts but I got stuck with a 2 year commitment. Direct tv is just one big scam.

  8. Direct TV/AT&T is the worst most dishonest company ever. You can never get to the correct person – they make package offers that are double once you have them installed. They will not give you a print out of what package and price they offer you and they simply say you could not have received that offer. They can send you to collections- make you pay an early termination fee even though they make promises they don’t keep and they charge whatever they want regardless of what information you are given when you talk to a representative to set up your package. How do they get away with the things they do?

DTV Needs to provide a live person to speak to regarding payments and other issues where dealing with auto mated calls, we sent in our payment early enough to get to them but have received a e mail saying that they have not received our payment and dealing with an auto mated service. , you service has been good but not in the issue with service regarding payments

  10. Worst customer service since bought out by At&t. Horrible that they charge Seniors on a fixed income the disconnect charge. Have tried to get ahold of someone to see if I can make payments on the balance and can’t even get anyone on phone to help me. This should be against the law. I had a basic package but nothing to watch except the local news channels, and lots of inappropriate things, on info commercials. I just hung up from finally getting someone on phone after long wait, could not speak plain English and sounded DRUNK! Ask me what TV service I would now be using???? I told him I did not think that was any of his business, and then he slurred that Direct TV does not take any payments for final bills…I just hung up on him. How Disgraceful!!

  11. After the first year, pricing was not what was agreed upon originally. After speaking to Direct representative Joel, I was offered a package of $84.00 plus tax. My first bill was correct. The second bill was $106.42. After spending over an hour on hold or speaking to very rude people, I was told that $84.00 deal was for one month only. Who in their right mind offers a one month deal. These telephone calls are supposedly recorded, but no one can verify that I was offered this package. I also was told to cancel my service, I would owe $200.00 on contract. This is such a scam. I will not be renewing my contract with Direct.

  13. I have the NFL ticket. Now it is fourth quarter, Bears behind by one point. The screen goes blank and then it says….sorry due to contractual agreements in your area you cannot receive this game, or words to that effect. I watched three hours of the game, but they cut it off. I finished listening to the Bears win on the radio.

  15. i am charged for the wrong amount that was agreed on. i was tolded that a new monthly bill will be 79.63 per month and now i have a bill for 207.36. take this crap out now. how do you screw up the difference this much. a upset long time loyal customer for over 20 years.

  17. I hate Direct TV they promise to send someone out to fix your cable problem and then no one shows. I called them and this is what I got. The repair man said he tried calling you but couldn’t reach you. That’s crap because I had my phone on me the whole time.I still have no service as of today it will be a week ago tomorrow. They tell you a bunch of lies that they will get someone right back out to you but they don’t. FED UP WITH DIRECT TV. Will be going with someone else!


  19. From the start I had problems with customer service: the installers were short one remote control, they agreed to bring it the next day, but they never showed up, nor called. There was a loose connection that the technician had trouble with, I was assured it would not be a problem but it has been, CONSTANTLY, now it does not work AT ALL. I should not have trouble with normal use of the service. I need someone to exchange this equipment for a fully functional one , now. I hope I can get an appointment at my convenience and then hope, Direct TV staff actually keeps the appointment and makes the necessary repairs, once and for all. I, as a customer pay for the service fully and punctually, perhaps direct TV should show respect and consideration by providing the service they agreed to on the contract, otherwise, I agree with Stan that the customer should be able to drop the service without penalty and even, I believe, should not be charged for full service when full service was NOT provided.

  20. It seems like every month I am calling them for some rate or discount I was given the previous month but the rep I spoke with didn’t put it in the computer. Do they think I just dream up these things?

    Most recently I was told I’d get $10 off for a year from Sept. 22, 2015 for being an unhappy customer who has been with them 9 years.. I was fine with that. The bill arrives showing that I’ve had the discount for 5 months. It is October 21. One month has passed on my calendar but on their’s 5 months have passed. Calling does no good because the rep, whose name I had, failed to put this in the computer, so it’s as if I just made this up!

    I am given an email address & told to send an email & they are able to look up the call and actually hear the entire conversation..

    Guess what?? No such email address exists. I’m gone.

Monday, August 10 I sent a new letter with forgotten check on an address DirecTV, P.O.Box78626, Phoenix AZ 85062 8626, The address was written in a computer. Zip codes who started number 8 have the address In Phoenix. I was from 8.11.15 Hurricane 84737 in the hospital. I do not know what happened. My account number is ABC-123-UKNOWME
