  1. It’s unbelievable that all these complaints about the DTS process and nothing gets resolved. I’m on hold for the second time for over a hour. Hire more people for these phone calls about this bad DTS mess!

  2. I was on hold for 1 hour for a 12 minute call. That issues was solved but now I’ve been waiting almost 2 weeks for another online issue to be cleared. Going to have to call again & wait a long time for something that will probably only take 5 minutes.

  3. I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes. This blows. The old DTS help desk number was actually pretty good. Typical military stuff. Have a system that works and switch everything to something “new and improved” that doesn’t work at all. The Reservists’ get screwed – AGAIN. All of the FTS folks and they do absolutely NOTHING to “Support” the reserve personnel. What FTS really means is “Fear The Sea.”

  4. I’ve been on hold for 45min. and my issue s is still not resolved. Very disappointed in this system. Number used 1-888-435-4176 and the DTMO number works , but will advise you contact the 4176 number for assistance.

DTS is a government failure of fix something like travel vouchers with paid out receipts that has worked for many years & wasn’t broken with something that most soldiers are struggling with, after they receive their orders & start their DTS travel that gets rejected because someone doesn’t dot I’s or cross T’s when you fill in the cost to travel by POV versus flying they want a CTW showing why you are driving instead of flying when you have shown the cost of both modes of travel in the appropriate block. If you don’t complete DTS before traveling then you must do an after the fact DTS orders which runs the soldier through more forms work to receive your travel expense reimbursement such as a signed witness statement with signed RLAS orders, statement showing duty was performed & soldier was not at fault in this matter, then forwarding this through soldier’s chain of command up to Commanding General before he can be paid travel reimbursement, this is after he has been paid for duty performed through signed RLAS orders sent into his command showing duty was performed DTS has made travel reimbursement unnecessarily difficult & should be scrapped or sent back to the drawing board!
