    I AM 78 SO ELLE IS GREAT FOR MY DAUGHTER. I WILL NOT GO INTO DETAIL HERE BUT I ORDERED A PRODUCT ON LINE ON A TRIAL BASIS ONLY PAYING THE POSTAGE. I RETURNED THE PRODUCT AND RECEIVED THE REFUND FOR THE POSTAGE BUT THIS COMPANY CHARGED MY VISA ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF $89.95 AND “THE CARD YARD” CHARGED MY ACCOUNT 13.95. AFTER MY TELEPHONE CALL TO THEM, THEY BOTH CREDITED MY VISA ACCOUNT. I THOUGHT THAT WAS SETTLED, BUT APPARENTLY IT WASN’T. .

    I CANNOT GO INTO DETAIL BUT 3 MAGAZINES WERE CHARGED TO MY ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF $19.95 EA. AND ELLE WAS ONE OF THESE MAGAZINES. THE BANK HAS DISPUTED THESE CHARGES AND CREDITED MY ACCOUNT FOR NOW. I WANT TO CANCEL ELLE

    I WAS TOLD THAT THE NAME OF THE AGENCY THAT SUBSCRIBED THESE MAGAZINES IN MY NAME WAS “THE CLUBS”, APPARENTLY MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WAS TRANSFERRED TO THEM, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. I WILL BE RETURNING “ELLE” TO YOU IF I RECEIVE ANY MORE. YOU HAVE AN EXCELLANT MAGAZINE BUT IT IS NOT FOR MY AGE. THANK YOU.

  9. Mag subscription is a scam. You think you are getting a magazine for FF miles but then they charge you and auto renew for way more than you should pay BEWARE.

    YOU CAN CANCEL PROBABLY BECAUSE OF SOME LAW SOMEWHERE, it takes preserverance Call 1-877-789-1194 and be prepared to be frustrated but keep trying.

    Their call center or at least one center is in Salt Lake City. I thought Mormans were suppose to be goody goody but they can run a good scam, maybe they aren’t Mormans , I hope they are not. I will never EVER order from them again.

  11. I too was receiving ELLE without having made a subscription. I called this help line and they were very nice and told me the reservation came from SubCo and gave me that number. I called and spoke with Jennifer who explained it was a free offer but if I did not want want it, it could be cancelled or changed to another magazine (which I also did not want). But she was very nice and I had no problems.

  12. My husband started receiving your magazine a few months ago which was apparently meant for his dental office, but was sent to our home address. He had retired over a year ago and now we have moved to another state and the magazine has followed us–being forwarded by the post office..

    You are not receiving any money for your magazine (which he did not order and will not pay for) nor is it being read by any patients in a dental office. It goes right into the recycling container. It is to your benefit to cancel the subscription. Please contact me at my email address and I will give you the information you need to cancel the subscription.

  13. Hello to all as I am not one to express my online opinion, so here it goes.!!!

    I received an Invoice from House Beautiful and has been previously stated there was no telephone number which resulted in having to go online to obtain.

    Because in my email inbox I began seeing info from Harpers Bazaar, Elle, etc. I wondered if it was a domino effect. Yes! Because when I had gone into Publishers clearing house and entered the boxes of questions pertaining to my likes, etc .this is what resulted!! I

    This was confirmed after speaking to a customer rep. who was rather polite and helpful. Needless to say that it was cancelled forthwith and would even be receiving the next copy because the process was already in effect.

    One has to be extremely careful when it comes to free trials and offers as there is always a catch.

    It is important that you check your mail as soon as you receive.so that you can call and cancel as there is always a time frame .. If you are not one of those then you may find yourself having to pay an invoice. It is so easy to get upset but we have to take responsibility and not lash out to the representatives who are always so very understanding and who can receive the blunt of our anger. Thank you. It took so much time to end it all!!!

    things straightened out if we could talk to a human. I sent $10.00 from my online banking. It finally passed the bank 7/20/16. I know it didn’t go by pony express. If you are going to be in business you need customer service number. E-Mail me the number.

  24. I receive the Magazine Elle and I didn’t even order it. They don’t even have my name spelled correctly. I send it back refused soon as I receive it. Something is missing in their understanding that I don’t want their magazine. I agree that they are a scam. I’ve never been build because I didn’t order to begin with. If I ever receive a bill, I’m going to turn them into the Fraud hot line. I used to get emails saying I won millions of money or someone left in their Will from another country, I kept turning them into the Fraud hot line and now I don’t receive them anymore.

  26. I’m brought to this website because I want to unsubscribe from your e-mails. All of them. I have requested this multiple times and according to your site, I am not signed up for any. I can’t log in to contact you because I don’t have an account. This is your official notice that you are required, BY LAW, to unsubscribe people from any and all e-mail subscriptions upon request and I have requested many times. Enough games. If I get one more stinking e-mail, your company is getting reported to every appropriate agency I can think of. I’ve already gone through the nightmare of being harassed to pay for magazines I never wanted and finally got you to leave me alone for those. I thought you guys were supposed to know about all things attractive. Desperation is not attractive.

  27. The Elle Décor magazine itself is very nice. Their billing procedures are the absolute worst. I have received multiple e-mail and U.S. Mail renewal notices for 1 year at $24.97. I have responded to each, either via e-mail and/or copying, writing in red pen across the billing notice, and putting pages in an envelope to them via U.S. Mail. I have responded to each via e-mail FIVE times since October 2015, saying I did not authorize a renewal, will not provide my current credit card number, and do not wish to renew for another year at $24.97. I continue to get e-mail notices (latest this morning 11/21/15) as if they’ve received absolutely nothing from me. I looked inside the current issue for a phone number. On page 26 of the December issue there is a paragraph with the website info and a mailing address, but no phone. Thank you to your site for providing that 800 number. In that same paragraph on page 26, it reads “On year subscription rate $15 for U.S. and possessions.” Not only are they invoicing me (repeatedly!) for $24.97, but they apparently only charge $15 according to their magazine print information on page 26! WHY? I called the 800 number listed here, spoke to “Shay”, and explained how frustrated (and mad) I am at their service and constant harassment for renewal at the much higher price. I explained how many responses, both by mail and e-mail, I have made with absolutely no acknowledgement. She then asked if I would like to renew for a year at $12.97. I said “NO. I don’t want to have anything to do with Elle Décor at this point.” and wanted to cancel completely. I also explained that I had received a low cost renewal offer to “Elle” (not Elle Décor) and had subscribed at that lower rate, and to please not confuse and cancel that subscription because it was already paid. She assured me that would not happen. I said I did like “Elle Décor” very much, that it was an enjoyable magazine, and that I would like to continue receiving it, HOWEVER, I would not do so because of the frustration with their subscription department, the harassment, the failure to list their phone number openly, and their total lack of response to so many requests through e-mail AND U.S. Mail. She assured me that I would receive only one more renewal notice via U.S. mail, that it was already showing as printed and ready to send (GRRRRR!!!!!), but that I would receive no further communication from them. I love magazine and enjoy browsing them. I enjoy Elle Décor. I have received renewal notices from other magazines over time and have either renewed, disregarded one or two notices, or have contacted the magazine saying I did not wish to renews. I thought I could do that with Elle Décor too, especially with the higher than public offering price ($24.97 vs. $15.00 in their own magazine), but this magazine apparently has taken a class in Terrorist Techniques in Magazine Renewal Procedures and doesn’t seem willing to take “No, thank you” or even “NO, NO, NO, NO, NO” for an answer.

  28. I can’t find any way to get to speak to someone in customer service, online or by phone (” . . . due to weather conditions, your call cannot go through at this time . . . “). I did NOT subscribe to Elle, yet I started getting the magazines in January. I am retired and not in the least interested in the content of your magazine. I want to know who subscribed for me and how to stop this subscription. It’s just a waste because I put in right into the recycling bin. Also, it should not be this difficult to contact you.

  29. I reached customer service for Elle magazine at (800) 876-8775. The prompt will ask for your magazine code but if you just press 0 you will get a person. I just called, apparently I signed up in 2012 through some kind of online sweepstakes I do not remember and have only been billed twice through my credit card in the past two years. Just yesterday I noticed $13 come out of my account. I called to cancel and the person was very nice. They offered to cancel my subscription and refund the latest payment.

  30. Could not find a customer service phone number through Elle. The one you provided worked. I apparently entered an incorrect subscription number (twice) and got a very nice gentleman on the phone. My issue is that I do not want continuous service but do want to finish out my current subscription. Was offered a discount price of $5 if I would pay today by credit card. Declined (plus do not want this company to have the ability to charge my card) and was assured that my last issue will be October and to disregard any future bills I may receive.

It is had to find a customer service phone number to talk to someone about cancelling this order, but of course that is not possible.   33. I am so frustrated and mad. I clicked on site when offered something (not a magazine) really nice for free. Instead of something Free like promised, I received an invoice (A Bill) for a subscription for Elle Decor Magazine. Newspapers which hold more interest to me than any magazine. First when I was signing up for free items, once I was done, all of a sudden page came up saying Thank you for subscribing to magazine, with no phone number or anyway of canceling even though it says click to cancel, it doesn’t, just takes you to a statement. I think and feel as if this magazine has lost all Good Credit and reviews from me for giving me and others false information, tricking us to sign up for what we don’t want just to sell your magazine. If ever I would have had it in my mind to order this magazine, the way they went about getting me into doing so is wrong and should be illegal. And even has taken my stress level and blood pressure up to a dangerous level, and I still have not been able to get rid of this serious headache. The last time I had a headache like this I had a stroke, this is what happens to some of us with health problems when stressed. Which I wasn’t until not only going through this online but now receiving a bill in the mail which has taken it up more. I do not handle stressful things well, which is why I do not leave my house, now to have this company bring all this unwanted stress to me over a suppose to be a free item. If company does not cancel this magazine and send free item to all of those including myself who filled out form out to get Free Item that was advertised to get, wasn’t no cheap toy either, I will see how to go about taking legal actions for all this unwanted stress it has caused me at least, I can’t do it for others. One thing about me is I learned a long time ago to copy and save EVERYTHING, just like my car has a dash cam, house has cameras, I copy and save everything I do and say and receive online. That way the law is on my side. You have my address because 1). I gave it when I applied for free item & 2). you sent me a Bill statement to my home address. So no excuses. All this will also go on file with the date. You didn’t waste time billing me (you did that right after I filled out the form for a free item) so I expect to receive the free item I applied for in my mailbox in a timely manner. And To all who need Elle Decor’s phone number, this is the number for the magazine that came up online after searching for it 1-800-876-8775 open Monday from 7 a.m – 9:30 p.m Central time.
