  1. I called cust svc on Fri 1-20-17 and spoke with Austin, who finally hung up on me since he could not answer my questions. I then called back and spoke with Sonia who did the same thing. It appears this is company policy at Exede. I called a third time and reached Joanie. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor, and was finally transferred to Steven who, when I told him I had been hung up on twice, seemed unconcerned. My questions were eventually answered but it should NOT have taken 3 phone calls to accomplish this. No customer service skills at this company!

  2. For almost two years whenever I call Exede the message says they are experiencing a high call volume, the wait time exceeds two minutes. So I am currently on hold now for 20 minutes with no idea if Exede will get to me today. This is not an unusual event, I have held for an hour before and then I just gave up. If the prompt for new customers or people wanting to know more about Exede the call is answered almost immediately. Today I need tech support, my service is going down several times a day, I have to rest and reboot to get it back.. However,coming to a solution that works with Exede is highly unlikely, from past experiences with customer service.

  3. I am trying to determine my Exede anniversary date. I have called in numerous times only to hear a recording saying I bought my Exede service through a re-seller therefore Exede can not help me. This is untrue as I set my account up directly with Exede. Please correct your records and answer the above question.

  5. It appears that their customer support works bankers hours.

    Do they realize that people use the internet 24/7 ?

    I can’t reach them by phone lately. Have to wait. I usually give up after an hour or so.

  6. sold us 30m service was installed and only got 10m and 3 hrs later it speedtested at 400k called exede to cancel service the same day it was installed and they say we are stuck in a 2 yr contract or we can pay the cancelation fee. the law says you have 3 days to cancel any contract that you sign at your home but exceed says we don’t qualify for that state law. The installer said we would get at least 10m at peak times and up to 30m off peak but I don’t get but 2.2m at 10:00 pm. Do not buy this internet service it sucks just like the company does

    what i found out, sal got ahold of there ckbook and took out moneys from 100.00 to 300.00as i found on sal he took my mony67.00 from my account to bad this company tomm iam going to my bankand mondYI AM CONTACTING RICHMOND BBB

  9. I have read some of the previous comments and do not understand why anyone has a problem with customer service. I have always quickly reached a real person and my problems solved weather I had done something wrong or it was a device. They have even provided me with the cs # for the device that was found to be the problem. Thanks Anita !

  10. I am Glender again almost 5 minutes ago complaining about my phone device. All is Well the phone is ON the web just did not let me know….Customer Service asked me to check the phone said she saw that it was on. It was.

    Also having trouble with internet,,,,have to reload most every time

  12. If I knew there was a limited time / a month using this internet view things / keeping up with friends without cutting me off cause my time ran out for the month. I don’t know when they gonna click me back on. paying this much money a month and yhey do this way – it’s crazy. I can’t cancel if I do they gonna charge me 649.000 dollars or 22.00 dollars a month till payed . anyone wants to get internet with exede DON’T .

  13. Never use them for phone service. Their first response is to blame your phone! Their next response is to create a ticket for the problem, which is never solved. When you finally (and never on the weekend) reach a person, who reads the notes on your account, it will still be your phone causing the problem. The delay in phone conversations was expected but is so bad it is intolerable. The customer service representative talked over me.

    Now, after one full month of misery, I get to pay the bill and a early termination fee as well.

  14. I have an unusual problem. I bought bundled TV, phone and Internet from Directv about 6 or 7 weeks ago.

    I don’t know who is my phone provider is as I’ve never received a bill and Directv doesn’t know either after extensive searching.

    If in fact I have Excede service, I want to inform you that my phone is almost unusable because of a 1 or 2 second delay. It’s so bad that we’ve used our expensive Tracphone instead. This happened the day I began the service.

    My phone is 518 695-6679 and I live at 222 Route 69, Schuylerville, NY.
