It seems to us that Clark Atlanta University is trying to pocket some of my son FAFSA money that he is eligible to get by FAFSA and we need your help because it’s from you. Also, there trying to get more money out of us for his education to attend Clark Atlanta University, but on Monday we will find out more. We was told last year $4,500.00 was going to be owe after FAFSA give him money and I have proof of them being wrong. My son left the College and didn’t get in any School because of the games as well time he left the School. Now,he is in a position to go to the School no matter what for Spring 2013 and I am seeing it agin. What FAFSA giving him is something totally different then what the School is saying. Can someone contact me please. I think I am see frund through Clark Atlanta University and last year we found out the School hit the News behind money issues towards students as well the School.I will be contacting you after my son get to Clark Atlanta University and get more of what there saying about his Financial Aid because what there saying on the phone and in his College Banner Financial Report is a lot different than what FAFSA e-mail report to my son. I have all the papers print out too.

  5. I waited 35 minutes to speak to a representative and once connected I ask her to wait just a few seconds for me to gather some requested information. After 30 seconds the representative hung up on me.

  6. What bothers with FAFSA is that; every time you log in to check status they want you to answer same questions over again which make you confused.

  9. If I hear that it is going to 15-20 more minutes to talk to a representative, I may croak! I have been on hold now for 1 hour 7 minutes and 9 seconds….still waiting! this is ridiculous!! Why don’t you have enough people to answer the phones. I know the government has plenty of money to pay people, except for us pee-ons!

  10. Hi, when I did the fafsa application it said I no longer was considered dependent or needed parents information since I turned 24. I declared my self independent, but my parents declared me depedent. However, it got rejected and as far as I know it still needs to be approved. My question is can you still receive pell grants even if your parents declared you dependent, and you are 24 yrs old?

I would appreciated if I could get an answer or a number to contact to.

    thank you .

  11. I have been trying to make Fafsa corrections for the past week. I’m having a problem with entering my password and username into the system, I have already created a FSA ID, now the system is not recognizing it. The same email address that FAFSA has been contacting me with, is now unrecognizable in their system, but then I would get an email from them on the same address.(Go figure). Now it’s Monday morning 6/29/2015, still having trouble. I’ve tried the customer service toll free #, it keeps going back to the main menu, it asks you multiple times what you need, then it disconnects. Whose brilliant idea was it to change the system. Change it back to email and pin. The people who don’t use it, are always the ones to submit the changes. We just want a chance to learn, when we don’t go to school and ask for assistance, you then say we should of gotten higher education, now we are trying make it doable, lots of people has to go to the Library where there’s a time limit to use the computers. “If education is the key, why are they making it so expensive for we”. a blessed day to all.

  12. Hi my name is Veronda and I would like to know how long will it take before you know if you have been aproved for fasfa, and is there a phone number you can call to check?
