  1. I recently shopped at a local Gap Store. I purchased two belts and told the clerk that I would be returning one after trying the belts on at home to see which length fit the best. The clerk told me that it would not be any problem to return one of the belts within thirty days. I had a coupon for $10.00 that I earned from past previous purchases at the Gap, and applied this coupon to the purchase. Instead of deducting $10.00 from the total amount of the sale, $5.00 was deducted from the price of each belt. When I returned one beltthe next day, the $5.00 deducted for that belt was not honored. I was told I would have to wait for up to two billing periods to receive the $5.00 coupon. I feel that this is an extremely poor selling practice for me, as a customer. I had earned that $5.00 coupon from previous purchases, and you are now basically forcing me to make additional purchases at your store in ordere to benefit from a coupon that had been due to me on this recent opurchase. Because of this practice, I will no longer shop at Gap stores, nor will I recommend your stores to family and friends. This is an extremely disappointing practice for the customer.

There billing is base on cycles so if you pay off in one billing cycle buy something return it won’t get credit till the next billing cycle which means you may be paying more then you actally own I keep serious track of my purchases and returns as I keep all the transaction information but it takes them at least one billing cycle to determine what you actually will pay there better ways to enjoy a credit card the idea is good but there financial establishment need some serious thought its a ge bank which there better banks to get credit cards from who actually carry there transaction immediately and not base on cycles especially when your paying as far as log in to pay you can go to gap website at the bottom of the screen you will find the logo manage my account with a picture of a credit card click log on with your email and password and your credit card account information will be displayed only the level of accurate on balance fails to be just that but if you keep track then you can dispute the balance and as for me I close the account with gap there are far better credit card companies with a lower apr and I don’t have to chase my balance around that the worse to know what you own and they try to charge you more I guess they hope nobody reads or keeps track as I do

  3. So sad. I bought the cutest polka dotted flip flops and the polka dots began flaking off before even one hour of wearing around the house. Sure, for the price I can wear plain black flip flops. So sad!!!

  4. why is that the USGAP has a promotion of 30% off until today? Meanwhile the Cdn Gap does not have the promotion sale. Is it not the same companies carrying the same merchandies online?
