  1. What if my items are damaged when I receive it?

    items are packaged with care to ensure that they will arrive undamaged. If you do receive a damaged item, save the damaged goods, the carton, and the packaging material. Call their customer service department immediately at 1-888-665-1999 or email customerservice@mackenzie-childs.com, and we will arrange to have the item returned to the company at no expense for you.

  2. Why did MacKenzie-Childs charge me sales tax? I ordered online?

    MacKenzie-Childs has a corporate presence and/or corporate activities, we must charge state sales tax in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas. The tax charged includes all state and local sales taxes that apply and is based on the product subtotal plus shipping.

  3. What is MacKenzie-Childs policy on backorders?

    Their customer service representative will notify you within 24 hours by email (or by phone, if your order was placed by phone) if the item is currently on backorder and when it is expected to be available. If the backordered item is part of a larger order, you will not be charged for that item until it is sent.

    Any unused item purchased from MacKenzie-Childs may be returned for any reason within 30 days, with receipt, for a full refund of the purchase price. Shipping charges are not refundable. Unless an item is received damaged, return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

    There are two ways to return merchandise to them. You can take it to any one of the stores (New York, Palm Beach or Aurora) or return by mail.
