  1. Can’t speak to any human; finally got someone and put on hold; got nowhere. Round and round in circles. Couldn’t get connected.

I HAVE CALLED VERIZON SUPPORT FOR MY JOB 4 TIMES TO PLACE A SERVICE REPAIR AND ALL YOU GET IS A AUTOMATIC MACHINE TALKING AND FINALLY WHEN I GOT A PERSON A WAS TOLD THERE IS NO TECH SUPPORT OR SUPERVISOR AVAILABLE TO ASSIST ME AND THEY WOULD HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME BACK, I CALLED BACK AND REACH A DIFFERENT PERSON AND NOW THE SOONEST SOMEONE CAN COME OUT IS TOMORROW!!! THIS IS MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND WHY I HAVE BRIGHT HOUSE FOR MY PERSONAL AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VERIZON TO ANYONE

  3. My neighbor has a drooping phone wire that runs from a pole across a three lane to the front of their house. The droop is so bad that when I stand on my sidewalk the wire touches the top of my head (I’m about 6′ tall). I called the 1-800-verizon number and the computer couldn’t understand what I was talking about. The droop is dangerous and needs to be raised up and secured again. But who’s going to do that if you can’t talk to VERIZON. Emergencies of this kind are way to important. Verizon doesn’t want to take responsibility of their outside equipment. I hope no one is injured if the wire is brought down unexpectedly.

  4. I calledVerizon to report a problem with a land line on October 5th. The response was immediate. They did a test and verified there was a problem. The tech apologized he could not have someone out there before the 15th of the month. This is absurd! this is constantly happening and the company needs to go out to the site and repair / replace the equipment once and for all!

  6. I AM A RETIRED VERIZON TECH.VERIZON HAS BEEN LOSING LANDLINE CUSTOMERS FOR YEARS NOW AND WOULD LIKE US ALL TO JUST GIVE UP AND GO WIRELESS.LAND LINES COST THEM MORE TO MAINTAIN THEN THEY MAKE.SO DONT EXPECT MUCH OR FAST HELP.

  7. This is my second issue concerning service since MARCH 20-16. Very poor service. Appointment was made for a four hour window Received a call at 6:55am reminding me of the service call. NO technician came to complete the work as scheduled. Therefore, I missed a day of work for nothing. I find this totally unacceptable. MY PHONE NOR MY FAX LINE IS WORKING. So with that in mind how much of a discount will be credited to my bill.

  8. I have had a Verizon phone line lying in my driveway since yesterday. Thinking it was Comcast’s because I am a Comcast customer I called them and they came out this morning and told me it was Verizon’s wire and they couldn’t touch it so I called Verizon before noon and was promised it would be taken care of by this evening. It is still lying there and it is 8 PM. Thank God I have Comcast their customer service is great. I am tempted to go out there and simply cut the wire off from my house and leave it hanging from the phone pole

  9. My area was just changed from Verizon to Frontier communications. My phone is out due to storms or something else. I feel like I am being transferred all around India. And the connection is not that great. Good Luck with Frontier.

I was given all wrong info on the telephone and cut off twice in the middle of the conversation. when the tech arrived, James Franklin, 4 days later, he knew exactly where the problem was and it was corrected. we thought. He came in to check the t.v. the computer, and the phone. Phone still not working. The first person I spoke to did not reconnect all that was switched off. Hope, was the first one I spoke to that should not be giving out wrong info. I knew nothing about a white box with batteries in it. The box was not where she told me it should be. T-box was found, but the problem had nothing to do with batteries, and James franklin knew this.This started on Thursday, September 17th and was remedied on Monday, September 21st.

  12. wow! just called verizon repair [thanx for having the # posted here!!] and a REALLY SUPER guy went out of his way to help me when – since the problem wound up being my physical phone – he coulda just told me to find the handbook or call the manufacturer or whatever, since they no longer have anything to do w/the physical phone sets! he looked up the model’s manual online and WALKED ME THRU to get the problem solved. sorry to contradict the other reviews, but i was blown away!

  13. I have had no internet or phone since May 28 i have spoken to at least 10 different reps from India to no avail. I get a different answer every time. They refuse to send me a technician as it supposedly can be fixed through the office . Also refuse to let me talk to a supervisor. It is our vacation home and I can only be there on the weekends they assured that on sat. June 4 it would be repaired. As of yesterday it still is not working. I would like a technician to come out Friday June 10 as I will be there then. If this is not resolved by then I will be taking the modem back to Verizon and switching to comcast. Unfortunate as I have had for Verizon for 30 years or more.

  14. my mother in law is 88 years old and has been without a phone for 7 days and all they say is they are working on it and they say they will help her with the bill and they give her a 6 dollar credit are you stupidg kidding me

  15. I HAVE CALLED THE 1-800-837-4966 TWICE AND ALL I GOT WAS A COMPUTER TALKING ME THRU SO MANY PRESS THIS NO# OR THAT NO# TO GET TO THE NEXT STEP. THIS IS MONDAY, GAVE ME AN APPOINTMENT FOR SUNDAY OCT 4, THEY ARE GOING TO CALL MY NO# TO BE SURE I’M AT HOME, HOW ARE THEY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME WHEN YOU DIAL MY NO# ALL YOU GET IS A BUSY SIGNAL? WELL I’M NOT PLEASED WITH THIS KIND OF SERVICE. MY PHONE SHOWS ME “HOME LINE IN USE” HOW CAN THIS BE WHEN I’M NOW USING MY PHONE.

    SO WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

Right now my phone does not work and I cannot find VERIZON email address to report the problem. All I see SALE -BUY, BUY-SALE, SALE and more SALE options. What idiot broke-up AT&T?

Yesterday three technicians came to my residence to fix the problem with my landline. they suggested running some wires from my base phone sitting in the drawing room to the kitchen to re-connect to the ADT security system. I told them I’d consult my family members and let them know. Now I want the same technicians who came to my residence yesterday, April 24. i am leaving a phone msg too about this. kindly send the same team or some one who knows what is to be done ASAP. and handle this quickly. thanking you

  18. I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation. My service request was honored in all respects.

    When I submitted the request, I was given a date and time frame. Admittedly, the first available appointment as best I could tell was a week from the submission date. I took that first available frame, and received confirmations by email and text. That was reassuring.

    Right within that frame, the service technician called to say he would arrive in about fifteen minutes, and did. He quickly assessed the situation, had a colleague on the way, and in a short time, they had determined the problem and a means of addressing it. They were helpful in making a few suggestions to me (i.e., which branches I needed to cut down) and they proceeded with their work. They were efficient as well as pleasant and cheerful; I got the impression that they actually like doing their jobs, a quality that seems somewhat scarce in modern times.

    While I’m sure you often receive complaints; this is not one of them. I just wanted to say thank you for work well done. (Had a quicker appointment been available – thank goodness my cell was fully functional), this would have been 5 out of 5 stars.

  19. I am completely disgusted with Verizon. The first part of July my e-mail became a problem. Sometimes it worked; sometimes it did not. Also, my phone had LOTS of static. I called to get a technician to check this out. The girl with whom I spoke had me check all kinds of things and finally decided that it was probably Verizon’s problem. On July 21st a technician came and restored my e-mail and corrected the static problem. He said he had to replace a line but that the tiny orange line was on top of the grass going completely across my back yard. He said he was sending an order to get someone out to bury this line. It is now August 12th and the line has not been buried. I kept calling and got various people; some who acted as though they really did not know about what I was speaking. Others gave me times someone would come emphasizing that I should be at home between 8 and 5 on those days. NO one came!!!! I finally got a young lady who seemed to understand, and she sent someone out. However, she said it would be Sat., Aug. 15th and, again, I should remain at home. I also received 3 phone calls telling me to stay at home and asking if the problem has been solved and if so I should notify them (so they would not have to come!!!). No one showed up on Sat. HOWEVER, someone came on Sunday!!!!! My daughter happened to be at my house (I was out of town) getting ready to leave for her home when this person came. He looked at the situation and said this is a temporary line and it needs a cable and someone needs to do this!!! Said he would try to get someone to come. Thus far, 3 days later, no one has called, showed up, etc. If this is service, I would hate to see someone who gives no service. Verizon does not care about the customers and they have the nerve to call me and ask how the technician did in order to improve their service!!!!! WHAT technician????? Verizon is TERRIBLE!!!! I hope someone in power will see this and DO something. Incidentally, I am 80 years old and don’t need to put up with crap like this!!!!

  20. I am disgusted with the repair department. Since last Thursday when I reported no lines in my house nothing has been corrected. I have guests from overseas who cannoy be reached by their friends..its a total nightmare. If not fixed today will cahange phone companies

  22. If you really want to get quick service, call the P.S.C. 1-800-342-3377, this will affect their rates when Verizon applies for an increase.
