Icall the repair service 3/31/2016 , Ineed a service liner re routed from my neighbors yard because she is having a tree taking down,and it will knock dowm my phone line crossing her yard, I talk to a nice fellow in service. and he said a repai man will be here to reroute the phone line by 4/1/2016 by seven pm FRIDAY.. I AM CONFIRMING THAT APPOINTMENT BY THIS EMAIL

  3. The service technician Dennis-JBF who traced and corrected ny basic phone line service this past Sunday did a very professional job in tracing down the problem in the wiring in our home. He deserves credit for a job well done

  4. every time it rains, both of my phone lines go out and I can’t contact verizon. I tried to find an online chat service to contact them without luck. They have tried fixing this stupid problem for 20 years YES TWENTY YEARS and they never get it fixed. I’m stuck not being able to contact them when it goes out. it gets so infuriating.

  5. CONTACT THE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION, (P.U.C.), VERIZON WILL GET OFF THERE BUTT AND DO SOMETHING. YOU CAN FILE A COMPLAINT ON LINE AND YOU WILL GET RESULTS.

  6. Verizon needs to update their equipment every time it rains I cannot use my phone because of the static on my line. In 50 years of having my phone I never had this problem until I took the package deal of the internet and phone service, sorry I changed it.

  7. Have lived for thirty years in same house with same land line telephone number. Have always paid bill. Also have Verizon fios, Internet high speed upgraded and three separate Verizon wireless cell phone numbers in addition to landline. All bills are always paid. Have requested an updated Verizon utility pole #12 to replace a telephone utility pole that brings the electricity as well Internet phone and fios TV to house. All adjacent poles have been replaced to legal Height and legal Cirstuffference/legal Radius recently. PS&G sent multiple emails stating Verizon pole#12 must be replaced by Verizon – not by PS&G. Have repeatedly requested that Verizon replace antique, skinny, and pockmarked Pole#12 behind my home which is lower than adjacent poles #11 and #13. In the interest of public safety I would like the new pole to be put in ground first. Then Verizon can switch their service while co-ordinating with PS&G to come out to switch their electric lines. Respond in writing!

  8. I’VE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 45 MINUTES. I REDIALED AND LEFT ME CELL NUMBER TO GET A CALLBACK WHEN A REP WAS AVAILABLE. THE CALLBACK WAS WITHIN 5 MINUTES TO WHICH I WAS AGAIN PUT ON HOLD. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY SERVICE REPAIRED FOR OVER TWO WEEKS.

  10. had to go to computer to find telephone number for landline repair and all I got was a recording . The repair number should be on Verizon bill at all times. I am 88 years old and this is frustrating.

  11. I have called Verizon at least 5 times and I keep getting switched from dept to dept. Here is my problem I have an old utility pole that is about to fall PSEG installed a new pole and have moved the wires over same for Comcast The pole is about to fall and there are Verizon wires still attached to it. Who do I call to get the wires changed to the new pole. Like I said the pole is about ready to fall over Please advise ASAP

For three weeks I have been trying to get my elderly (age 87) mother’s phone reconnected with no success despite promises from company and apologies and admissions that the company made a mistake when they disconnected the phone number my mother had had for 50 years. She lives alone is the country and I am worried about her safety. I have spent 6 hours on the phone over the past week with the company. As has my sister and my brother three weeks ago. Her bill is current (auto pay) and always has been paid! Yesterday they promised a reconnect by noon. The phone does not work. Horrible service. Pleasant customer service folks who apologiz and do nothing–except demand more information–where so their accountability?!!! They disconnected the phone with no notice or reason. No stars for this company. What is the opposite of stars?

  13. I was put on hold for them to research the problem history. Got disconnected- Waited on hold again. Woman was rude and would not help me. I explained that it wasn’t a problem 2 weeks ago and now they won’t help me with the problem. This is a business. We are totally disgusted with Verizon service.

    I have never been treated so rudely by another business and when I asked to speak with another representative or supervisor she hung up on me.

  14. i spoke for 45 minutes to a man in mexico trying to get my phone repaired, finally, i got furious , yelled. demanded, and got a repair man to come, but, the phone started to work 6 hours later.

    i am now trying to cancel appointment, been on the phone, listening to music for 30 minutes. i

  15. Today I contacted Verizon by phone and after a lengthy attempt to speak to a real person, I was connected to Daniel in CA thankfully not India. Daniel understood my problem which is every time my phone rings I lose my internet connection. He suggested attaching a filter to the jack and is sending me one. Also is having Verizon monitor my phone. He also was very patient with my limited knowledge of tel apparatus.

  16. verizon came out to fix the neighbors phone line. they left flying out the road as it was friday and im sure they wanted to go home. my phone was fine prior to them arriving. they left and when i went to use my landline there was NO dialtone just static. i used my reliable tracfone to call their customer service who assured me my service would be restored by 5pm saturday. i called customer service at 4:50pm satuday and after being put on hold, using 20 of my pay per tracfone minutes, i was told ALLLLLLLLLL of the available trucks and technicans had all ready returned and gone home and they would TRY to get back out here monday. what a crock of sheeeeeet. i am turning off my landline after 8 years of the crappiest service i have EVER experienced. I WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ASSOCIATED W VERIZON AGAIN.

  18. Have to say Verizon has done a fine job again. They made a repair on “their side of the box” a couple of weeks ago. Afterward my phone began experiencing a quick disconnect when I tried calling out. Folks calling in got a busy signal; my handset would ring once but no one would be there. Called Verizon yesterday; explained the problem; did the troubleshooting at the “box” on my house; found it was “their side of the box” again. They will have a service rep here today. Will update this review if needed but I anticipate great customer service again.

  20. I just got off the phone with Verizon to report a problem with a land line. The response was immediate. They did a test and verified there was a problem. The tech apologized he could not have some one out there this afternoon but they would be there tomorrow morning. This whole process took less than 5 mins. That is what I call fantastic customer service.
