  1. No internet service for 4 days. Every time I called to check I got a different explanation for what the problem was. Unscheduled maintenance – will be 24 hours. That was the first day. Then a pole was down in my neighborhood. Fixed by 4 PM. The second day. the next two days it was a switch problem at the central office. Two days to fix a switch? Terrible customer service. Telling me bogus stories re: the exact problem. Guess they’re reading from a script. It’s easy to tell after calling 10 times. Sad……

  2. I had my phone service temporarily suspended because of a house fire. I contacted Verizon to have service restored September 10. I kept getting a “No line” message on my phones even though the main phone was plugged into a brand new jack installed by the contractor restoring the house.

I called two days later when I still got the “no line” message on my phones. An appointment for a technition to check was scheduled for Tuesday, September 18. No one showed up.

I called this morning (September 19, 2018) only to have another appointment scheduled September 26!

I am without phone service and am hoping that I am not going to pay for the period without phone service. I am not happy!

  3. Have had no home phone service for four days so far went out of service July 2 and its July 5 and still no phone. Called Verizon was told someone could be out to repair the problem on Monday the 9th great service Verizon. A week without My phone???? approximately a week or two ago Our neighborhood was flooded with Verizon repair trucks, can’t find one any where now. Thanks for your great customer service.

  4. Temporary line connected to box located near my property and crosses the sidewalk, up the street again crossing the sidewalk and connecting to a box two houses up. The sidewalk is frequently used by children and adults. The line is 3 weeks old.

  5. I have been trying to get through to Verizon to get my phone line repaired. I have been put on hole for over an hour and a half. they said the wait time would be six to nine minutes I,am still waiting

  6. I am calling about my TV. I have called several times and I am on hold for hours. Does Verizon have only 2 people working. I have been with Verizon for years and I would like to speak to a manager. Is verizon going down hill. Like they did in Cal. When I turn my TV on I get NO Signal. Then I have to wait until that goes away and the I get hit menu. Then it says hit source. I do not have this on my remote. I have been calling for weeks.

  7. Hello,

I have been trying to get through to Verizon’s number 1-800-837-4966 for two days now and can’t speak to anyone. I waited all day yesterday and of course after going home for the day they left (3) automated call backs. Does anyone know how you can talk to a human being to tell them that your phone line was ripped off the poll?

  8. FiOS phone line and internet down from recent storm. Have spent hours (literally) on hold and have yet to speak with someone to report outage and schedule repair. Cannot repot outage/request repair online either.

    Poor customer service.

  9. No dial tone. Checked at customer interface. NDT from pole. No repair service # on telephone bill! Have spent over an hour trying to report the trouble on the internet. Finally get a # and call Verizon. Person who answers is in India and is hard to understand. Says it will take a week for them to come out and fil the line! I am really frustrated! I would suggest if you are having difficulty reporting a trouble, call the Corporation Commission, telephone division, and make a complaint. I Will be calling mine in Richmond, Virginia on Monday morning.
