Yesterday we called as our bill went up more than $30 month. This morning we awaken and most of our service is gone —cannot view “List” of shows previously recorded. NOTE says We do not have this Service with Direct TV! Removing service is not giving a credit. It is beyond the point of FRUSTRATING when after waiting on hold we are provided LESS service. DirectTV needs to get organized and soon. The bill is still over $100 month and we now do not have our children’s programs to view Get organized and do what you say —you cannot simply remove service a customer has paid for —-12 years with Direct TV.

Are other customers having receptions issues too. We receive a pixalated mess and garbled audio when commercials change and often the signal freezes and we turn off receiver and turn back on. This has been going on for well over 6months and the answer I get –it is a software problem and we are working on it. Now I receive an email every 2 weeks saying–“still working on it” If it is software–are there others getting this same run around, please comment?

I agree with this comment. I live in Mount Joy, and channel 8 is our local news channel. We cannot even get this channel.With all the money we pay for this, we should be able to get the local channel. I am disappointed in Direct tv. All the channels, so many of them are paid programs and not much is on the channels that we do have.

They suspended my account for that we got part of it straightened out and then still waiting for the bill to get done right, in the meantime it’s been since June 30th no call back and my bill is due today but somehow I got suspended again last night

Forget any kind of customer service. You will be in automated phone hell for a LONG time, usually with a terrible phone connection, and eventually they will hang up on you long before you can talk to a real person. I originally wanted to change my service package, but now I will cancel it outright because their customer service is so poor.
I had appointment to have someone come out and repair my dish and no one showed up. I called and they said that I had cancelled the appointment. I said that’s crazy as I did not cancel. Made another appointment and no one showed up again. I called and they could not tell me who was coming or where he was but did say he would be there in 30 min. HE never showed the dish has been down for a week now. they have all my phone numbers and never called. I guess they don’t value my business. I have dish net at another location with 10 receivers and I have never had this problem. I guess I will have to call DishNet
