Metamucil can't you make fiber bars without sugar?

why can’t you make the fiber bars with no sugar can’t take powder form of Metamucil and for as diabetic the sugar doesn’t help any particularly 6grams per fiber bar .why can’t you use Stevie instead of aspartame in them or white sugar
