Popular Mechanics uses separate support contacts for print-only subscriptions and All-Access or Premium memberships. Check your order confirmation or renewal notice first so your delivery, billing or login question reaches the right team.
Print-only subscriptions: 1-800-333-4948 or popcustserv@cdsfulfillment.com.
All-Access or Premium: 1-888-797-9927 or pmpmembership@popularmechanics.com.
Official routing: Publisher customer-service page. It does not list phone hours.
Support information checked October 17, 2026. CustomerServiceNumbers.com is an independent guide and is not affiliated with Popular Mechanics or Hearst.

Manage the Correct Subscription
- Print-only customer-service portal: use this route for a magazine subscription without an All-Access or Premium membership.
- All-Access and Premium account portal: sign in with the email associated with that membership.
If you have more than one subscription or received a gift, collect the relevant confirmations before contacting support. Explain whether the problem affects a mailed magazine, website access, or both. Avoid buying a second subscription just to troubleshoot a login issue.
Missing Issues and Address Changes
For a missing or damaged magazine, give print support the issue date, the name on the subscription and the delivery address privately. State whether earlier issues arrived and whether you recently moved.
For an address change, supply the old and new address through the official account or support channel. Ask which issue will use the new address and whether any issue is already in the mailing process. Keep the confirmation rather than assuming the change applies immediately.
Billing, Renewals and Cancellation
Review the renewal notice and billing record before calling. Have the subscription number, charge date and amount ready. Ask support to identify the subscription associated with the charge and explain its renewal terms.
To stop a subscription, use the appropriate account portal or contact the team listed above. Ask for written confirmation of the cancellation, the last issue or access date, and whether any refund applies to your purchase. Cancellation and refund eligibility are separate questions; do not assume that every charge is refundable.
If a retailer or another subscription seller billed you, check that seller’s order confirmation too. Tell publisher support where you purchased the subscription so they can help identify the account and the correct billing route.
Digital Access and Follow-Up
Try signing in with the email used for the membership and use the password-reset option if needed. If a paywall remains after signing in, send membership support the affected page, your account email and a screenshot of the error. Keep passwords out of email.
If the first reply does not resolve the issue, respond with the case number, a short timeline and the specific action you still need. Ask for a subscription or billing specialist to review it.
