5/9/2012 Awful, Awful, Awful. My husband had his taxes done at JH and was taken for more than $300. He asked upfront how much would it cost to do a simple short form; the agent told him I don't know, but let's get started and I'll tell you. Long story short the guy did the return and charge more than $300. The refund was only $500 and JH got the majority of the refund. Unprofessional is not the word for this company, they should be shut down and never allowed to practice business again. My husband and I are not rich, not even well off and we were taken for a ride with this company. Never, Never, Never again will they get the chance to steal from us. We are so angry and to top it off my husband was told that he has to drive 30 miles away to pick up the check. Call the office and they are only opened 2 days a week on week days when we are working. JH you should be ashamed of the way you conduct business; everyone is out to cheat the small working family. Shame, Shame, Shame!

5/4/2012 Jackson Hewitt is a RIP OFF and THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING!!!!!! NEVER GO TO THIS BUSINESS !!!! I've also gone to H&R Block for many years, I decided to try anothar,, BIG MISTAKE !! The man that prepared thtem didn't ask me any questions, he didn't even bothet to ask me i was the head of household. I was told i'd be able to get a same day loan,th rat's the only reason i'd chan ged my taxe preparer. After he got my taxes done,that's when he told me that i couldn't get the loan(he'd told m tat i'd be elgible befoh rhe

5/2/2012 I WILL NEVER FILE WITH JACKSON HEWITT EVER AGAIN..... THEY TOOK OVER 500 FROM ME FOR FILEING FEE. PLUS ANOTHER 460.00 THAT THEY DONT KNOW WHERE IT WENT. THIS IS BULL ####! AND I STILL AINT RECEIVED MY MONEY YET.. THEY SAID WHEN I FIRST FILLED IT WOULD TAKE 4-6 WEEKS. JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THEM AND NOW THEY ARE SAYING 8-12 WEEKS.. 4/20/2012 Last year 2011 I did my taxes with Jackson Hewitt, what a mistake! They told me I would be getting back something like $465 (GREAT) but my fee to have my taxes done was close to $464. They said I had to pay them the $465 before they could send it in but not to worry because the IRS owed me money that I could file anytime, and that they had people come in a few years later and file that there is no problem. So They said they would keep ALL my paperwork in a file and whenever I was ready I could come back and pay. Well it took a while since my husband had been laid off 3x last year. When I did come back a new girl was there and she said I came back and got my paperwork and they said I said was going to file it myself. Well I NEVER came back, it wasn't me, so who has my paperwork? (can you say Identity theft?) How can I file something they ??? lost? They still had me in their computer but wouldn't give me a copy and that all my W2's were gone etc. I don't know what to say! I asked them don't they keep copies? They said no! That's crazy! What if I had filed with them and been audited how could they help? All the girl said was that the girl who had done my taxes last year had spent alot of time doing them and since I never came back fast enough they needed the space. ? What I thought she said I came to pick them up? OMG REALLY!!!!! Don't go to the Jackson Hewitt in APOPKA, FL !!!! You'll be asking for TROUBLE! I left so MAD! She said she'd look for them, but I'm not holding my breath, I'm considering getting a lawyer just as a start!

4/14/2012 Obviously,I do not need to file a complaint here . It seems that Jackson Hewitt has more problems than even I could add to. All I can say is make the preparer show you what you are electronically signing since the forms only require several signatures and Jackson wants at least 8. Ask youself what they are for and make them show you. These are the most unprofessional,dirty fingernailed,untrained, know nothing group that I have ever approached with something so important as my tax return. Now ,I can hardly wait to see what the IRS throws at me in the months to come. This is only the tip of the iceberg. This happened this morning and I feel quite sure that I will get no response from the corporate office about any of it from what I read above. I know for a fact that I will never use this service again and will make sure that anyone I know or is related to does..

4/12/2012 I have been getting emails every single day now Since Feb 1 of the balance on someone card that gave them No one can seen to fix this problem every time I go there they tell me the same S***.we cal text support and they took ur email out of the System.... next day same thing " Your balance on ur card is 0.00" Never used JH in my life. Number of texts as of today 175

3/16/2012 I filed my taxes at Jackson Hewitt because it is right next door to my job. What on earth possessed me to do that but I will NEVER use them again. The manager had the absolute worst attitude Ive ever seen on someone who is supposed to be a professional. The lady doing my taxes was extremely incompetent. She required assistance for almost every question she needed an answer to except the ones I answered myself. They set up some type of account for my refund to be deposited into without my knowledge. Last but not least they took the preparation fee from my state refund which is unheard of. That is not what the paper that I signed stated so when I walk up in the to pick up my check I better leave with the amount that the state issued for me. I can't believe the nerve of these people. Oh and by the way did I mention the appearance of their office was delapidated and very unprofessional. You don't get any privacy because there wasn't any division between the work stations. So the next person getting their taxes prepared can hear all of your business and vise versa. As the lady was preparing my taxes not only did she need to ask a million questions she was also conversing with her coworker. The whole time I'm saying to myself you have to be kidding me. Attention all readers JACKSON HEWITT is by far the WORST tax preparation service you could use so do yourself a favor and DONT!!!!!!!!!

3/15/2012 i WILL NEVER RECOMMEND JACKSON HEWITT TO ANYONE!!!!....THEY WERE UNPROFESSIONAL, THE LADY THAT DID MY TAXES ALWAYS NEEDED HELP, AND IT DIDNT SEEM LIKE SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING. SHE TOLD ME THAT I WAS GOING TO BE RECEIVING MY TAXE CHECK IN 2 WEEKS AFTER I FILED MY TAXES. I FILED ON FEB 17 AND NOW ITS MARCH 15, AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CHECK. THE ONLY REASON WHY I WENT THERE IS BECAUSE OF THAT COMMERCIAL THEY HAVE (THIS IS HOW WE DO IT!) LOL. I WENT TO H&R BLOCK LAST YEAR. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, KIND, THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND I GOT MY CHECK A WEEK LATER!!!!......I WOULD RECOMMEND TO LEARN HOW TO DO YOUR OWN TAXES, OR GO THE H&R BLOCK... :)

3/13/2012 Jackson Hewitt is a Joke!! All they do is give you the run around. They don't care about you, they just care about your money!! I will never ever use them again. They messed up our taxes and cost us a ton of penalties and now they keep saying they can't print off a copy of my taxes even though another office says they can. Avoid Jackson Hewitt and save yourself agony!!!!!!!!!

3/10/2012 My personal experience in your office in Easton, PA is the most unprofessional place of business I have ever been to!!!! Worst Service Experience Ever and I will never go back......they are not qualified to do returns and they don't know what they are doing there, perhaps you should really consider who you choose to represent your company name seriously. If you are a potential customer just some advice "Don't waste your Time or Money" because it is total trailer park trash, they are constantly smoking in front of customers there and that office is a complete mess and total disorganization...save your time and money because there they don't know what they are doing. You are better off preparing your taxes yourself because that's about the level of knowledge& expertise that office reflects there.

2/27/2012 filed in salida, can't reach the lady who did my taxes, or any other office in salida. All the phone numbers are wrong!! very frustrated. Cahrged me 340 dollars and I have no land, no home, no property!! What if I actually owned something!! I think I'll use someone else next year!!

2/22/2012 Will be calling our attorney to file a lawsuit against these unprofessional, uneducated morons. They messed up our taxes by thousands, incorrect filing status, incorrect ssn, no dob, talked about us to other customers who then came into Our business and informed us of the derrogotory remarks theyade because we keep calling them for a resolve. I hope that on top of us going to our corporate attorney, we rally together and file a class action lawsuit against Jackson Hewitt and have them put out of business. I have an accounting degree and we did this for the RAL and with all of the data Entry errors, my husband was denied, because of no dob. They lied for weeks and now refuse to assist. Stand by Jackson Hewitt, the best is yet to come! Ha, and they've begged me for years to take their pathetic course. I would rather have their presidents ### in a sling!
