your customer service sucks. been calling for over a week and all i get are recorded messages. no one ever picks up the phone even when on hold for well over 1 and a half hour

Terrible customer service. Have tried to resolve a problem and twice they said that it had been resolved and it had not. Several times had to wait on hold up to 45 minutes. We left 4 voicemails messages with Daniel out of the San Francisco office and he did answer back with a call. Sent email to tech support and said to give us a call ASAP and they have not after 5 hours. Currently on hold with speaker phone and hearing the same message mixed with music. Absolutely horrible!! I finally got ahold of tech and Will F. was very professional and resolved our problem quickly. He did a test while on the phone and he said it has been done. After we hung up, I personally did my own tests and it had been fixed.

I could not agree more , all of the comment made except for the comment that gave (CBEYOND 5 STARS). WE had Cbeyond as our telephone/internet provider AT 4 FACILITIES. The CBYOND’S company is the ABSOLUTE worse. Every time one of their outside sale force came by , they left with their tail between their legs. WHEN ANY ONE OF US HAS TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH A TELE-COMMUNICATION COMPANY , IT GUARANTEES THEM A PAYMENT EVERY MONTH , BUT WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO GUARANTEE OF THE SERVICE THEY HAD PROMISED.ONE TIME I WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR ON THEIR CUSTOMER CARE LINE.THIS IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE, I FINALLY HAD TO HANG UP. WE ARE NOW TRYING TO SWITCH OVER TO TELEPACIFIC COMMUNICATION . CBEYOND HAS NOT RETURNED ANY PHONE MESSAGES, THAT WE MAY BE LUCKY TO LEAVE ,BECAUSE THEIR MAIL BOXES ARE FULL AND SO IS THE OPERATORS VOICE MESSAGING BOX FULL. CBEYOND TREATS THEIR VICTIMS(CUSTOMERS) WITH OUT ANY REGARD FOR OUR TIME OR OUR BUSINESS. AT THIS POINT WE NEED THEM TO GIVE US THE TELEPHONE NUMBERS TO BE TRANSFERRED SO THAT OUR TRANSITION GOES THROUGH WITHOUT ANY MORE PROBLEMS. CBYOND, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The wprst and most expensive company. They make you all these promises, and then hide all the lies in their hidden 16 page contract that even a lawyer can’t break. If you want to spend over $600 a month for crap, this is the company for you. Everyone I spoke to in my office park that had been swindled by them has switched out, after the 3 year cotract.

Absolutely horrible customer service. My company uses Cbeyond for our phone lines, internet, mobile phones, etc. so they are more than aware I am a business account. They turned off my phone in preparation of turning on a new phone they sold me, and all seemed to go well, I was told I would have email service within 2 hours and if not to call back. After 1-1/2hrs. I was prompted by the phone to call my service provider. It wasn’t until the second call to Cbeyond that I was told they no longer supported that type of phone. Obviously I should have been made aware of that prior to turning the phone off. Cbeyond then promised that they would send me a new phone and I would receive it within 24-48 hours. That was Fri. When it did not arrive, I called again and was told there was no tracking number which indicated it had not shipped but that they would get it shipping asap and would let me know what to expect. That also did not occur. Now, Monday am, 3 days before leaving town for a business trip, I am not even able to find out when they will be sending me one! The people I speak to are cordial, but apparently inept.

The worst service ever, save yourself and avoid the hassles of no customer service, continuous attempts at up selling when their service fails, lots of telephone menus.
