What Happened to Cbeyond?

Birch Communications completed its acquisition of Cbeyond in July 2014. Cbeyond’s publicly traded stock was removed from Nasdaq, and its business operations became part of Birch.

Fusion subsequently acquired Birch’s cloud and business-services operation in May 2018. Fusion Connect now maintains support resources, customer portals, and regulatory documents associated with former Birch and Cbeyond services.

Fusion’s current regulatory page identifies Fusion Communications LLC as being formerly known as Cbeyond. Former Cbeyond customers should therefore use Fusion Connect’s current support routes instead of relying on old Cbeyond contact information.
