  1. Ok CARFAX, like Equifax, which I do not give permission to report on me especially when the report is wrong due to CarFax screw up and accuses me of odometer rollback due to their screw up. I filed a complaint their response is to have me fill out the same form I had already filled out. They say in a chat room they will get back in 5 days (of course that is from the date of the 2nd form I filled out) now it is going on the 7th work day and still no response and I seem to be blocked from they chat room. They are costing me thousands and they don’t give a ###! And of course there is no listed phone number – any suggestions anybody?

  2. It should state on there if there was a buyback guarantee if things didn’t show up and are discovered after purchase. I hope yours says there was one because you have the option of getting your purchase price of the vehicle back from CarFax.

  3. Same thing here. Went to trade in my Camaro and it showed that it’s been in an accident severely damaged where you couldn’t drive it. I’ve been driving my car since new and never had an accident nor a speeding ticket in that car. I’ve been driving it everyday since I owned it. It has never been to any other shop in the world but from where I bought it from for oil changes and tire service THATS IT. If this is not corrected you all Let’s file a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against them. Chris, I will call you tomorrow,

Having an issue similar to others I have seen; I ordered a Carfax report, only wanted one, but your site automatically selects the five report option (this is not right) and I did not notice this until my order went through. Don’t need five, just want the one for $39.95. No phone number on your website at all, this is a billing issue and I shouldn’t have to pay for something I do not want. After much seaching, found a number on the internet but it is a recording and who knows when and who will get the message. Most likely it will be after my credit card is charged. This is a dishonest practice.
