  1. Customer service is a joke. They messed up my order and then told me that I would have to wait to have it prepared again. Did not even offer a drink for the inconvience. When I told them to just return my money, the person in charge had to make a phone call t o do so because he didn’t know the procedure. I will not be back.

On yesterday, 12-20-16, I visited one of your location located at 19801 W. 8 Mile Rd., Detroit, MI 48219 Store #3197 at 7:50pm (my receipt reflects the time) and I was waited on by your associate by the name of Martez (whose name is also on my receipt). He was extremely rude and slammed the window in my face after giving me my order when I went to ask him additional questions about my son’s order.

    The situation went like this: My son and I stopped at this location, and we wanted to place our orders separately. There were no other cars in line on either side of the drive thru and we were the only visiting customers at that particular time, nor did any pull in to be serviced while we were there. My son is a 2nd year college student and uses his credit card to make purchases and I am his 50 year old mother that uses cash when I have it conveniently at hand. This was the reason we requested separate orders. Martez told us that we had to drive back around the drive through to a second time if my son wanted to place his order because this was your company rule and he wasn’t going to do it. My son just looked at me and asked to go someplace else to get his food. I tried to reason with Martez that if there wasn’t any other cars in the drive thru (which there weren’t) and they had no walk up customers at that time (which it wasn’t) why would he just turn the customer away and make us drive back around the building when these were the circumstances. Besides I was in in big SUV (Lincoln Navigator L) and it would have been rather difficult to maneuver back around the narrow drive thru path from the pickup window. Martez just rudely told my son and I he wasn’t going to do it (take my son’s order) because of your company rule and slammed the window in our faces because he had already handed me my order through the window. Is this the way Checkers Drive In Restaurant exhibits service to your customers? It’s no wonder no one was at this location. I couldn’t believe it!!!

    This is not what I expected and needless to say my son spent his money elsewhere on yesterday, but Martez sure made it bad for your business on yesterday. We chose Checkers and this is how we were treated? I hope you have secret shoppers visiting your locations because these type employees can really make it bad on your business and customers like me will have to go elsewhere because nobody wants to spend their hard earned money in places where they are treated poorly and not appreciated. You have too good a product to have representatives like Martez that treat your customers like this.

    I don’t usually write back to corporate offices about issues, but this experience was soooo terrible I just thought you should know so you can get this improved.

  3. went to checkers at 6339 tara blv. in Atlanta ga. at 7:00 p.m. and ms. Tamika morrow was very rude ot me …..because I ordered and waited over three minutes ….then she came and asked me what did I said ! I stated you mean you did”nt hear me and you just coming back to answer me like this….then she said you can KEEP IT MOVING.I DID NOT WONT ANY TROUBLE SO I PARK AND ASKED HER ….HER NAME AND SHE PROWLY GAVE IT TO ME ….SHE IS VERY RUDE…AND I DID NOT DO NOTHING….SO IMAGIN HOW UNPROFESSIONAL SHE IS….I WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN ….NOT WHILE SHE WORKS THERE….AND I WILL STOP MY CO….WORKERS ALSO.

Went to checkers in Westland ,MI to try it for the first time with my two children and after pulling up to place my order I was told that they would be with me in a minute to take my order 15 minutes later no one is taking my order but the other lane had several cars going through it and upon my children getting frustrated and me stating to that I guess we weren’t that important to them cause no one was taking my order a lady comes on over the speaker saying honey there are two cashiers so that is why you see others being helped . I drove off at that point and I will never go to checkers ever again worst customer service ever /experience with a drive through ever !!!!

  6. When you order a burger, it should be hot and juicy, just like the commercials. That is why people want to try your products. But when you get a burger, the value menu or the regular price , it should always be hot, not as cold as the tomato. when you did not order a cold cut sandwich. And then your representatives are rude because you ask for a fresh burger. Then it was placed in a microwave and thrown back on the counter. mind you this was a walk-in purchased in Cincinnati, OH. Good customer service means a lot for a business that have been trained properly.

  7. Checkers on navy blvd in pensacola right out front the navy base.

    Bathroom horrid

    Waited for wings is fine. Get the food, no napkins no ketchup no fries, go back again to get fries.

    Why?? No management? Do they rely on prices being cheap only. Nonsense. Never again.
