Fitness International stated that it purchased and would honor active XSport Fitness membership agreements at their existing rates, including active personal training agreements. The acquired clubs were scheduled to transition to Fitness International brands.

What Happened to XSport Fitness?
Fitness International acquired XSport Fitness in July 2024. Fitness International operates LA Fitness and other fitness-club brands and assumed operations of the acquired XSport locations.
Fitness International stated that active XSport Fitness membership agreements it purchased would continue to be honored at their existing rates, including qualifying personal training agreements. Multi-club XSport members were given access to LA Fitness locations nationwide, while single-club members retained access associated with their acquired club.
Former XSport members should now use LA Fitness and Fitness International support resources for membership, billing, cancellation, personal training, club access, and other account questions.
How to Cancel a Former XSport Membership
Because former XSport memberships were transferred to Fitness International, review both your original membership agreement and the current LA Fitness cancellation options available for your account.
LA Fitness currently says most club memberships may be canceled:
- Through the member’s online account when available
- In person at a club
- By written notice mailed to LA Fitness, P.O. Box 54170, Irvine, CA 92619
- Through another cancellation method provided by the membership agreement or applicable state law
When mailing a cancellation request, LA Fitness recommends registered or certified mail and keeping a record. Regardless of the method used, save written confirmation and check subsequent bank or card statements to make sure recurring billing stops as expected.
Former XSport Billing and Personal Training Questions
Use the official LA Fitness Contact Us page or My LA Fitness account for billing, account, freeze, cancellation, and personal-training questions.
Personal training may be governed by a separate agreement from the ordinary gym membership. Keep the original XSport training agreement, payment history, cancellation records, remaining-session information, and any communications received during the acquisition transition.
Finding a Former XSport Location
Former XSport clubs were acquired for operation and rebranding under Fitness International’s existing fitness brands. Use the current LA Fitness club locator to identify the active club at or near a former XSport location and confirm its current name, telephone number, operating hours, and amenities.
Do not rely on old XSport operating hours or claims of 24-hour access because club hours may have changed after acquisition and rebranding.
