10/19/2011 Carnival Cruise - Please tell me who at Carnival might have the
Please tell me who at Carnival might have the authority to actually act on a situation of unethical, dishonest communication. If a person of sufficient authority could receive the documenation and hear the story, I feel sure they would compensate my sister for a cruise she didn't take, get compensated for, or transfer, due to Carnival's misinformation when she called. She still had time to buy trip insurance, but they didn't tell he that until the following week, when she talked to another representative, who told her she could have purchased it at the time of the first call, but the date had passed. Long story, but I feel sure Carnival would rectify the situation if she could passed the "representatives" who are trained to deflect and appease with empty words, without solving a problem.
Please e-mail the contact information for any true customer service representative, who has the authority to make a decision, after learning the facts, without extending the run-around.
Thank you!

6/27/2011 Carnival Cruise - My husband and I recently took a cruise on the
My husband and I recently took a cruise on the Carnival Triumph. The ship was over crowded, there were noisey kids running around, and we had to wait in long lines for every breakfast and lunch. The ship was old with many rusty places. We were supposed to stop in Roatan, but the captain said that it was "too rough" to dock safely. However, as we were pulling away for yet another day at sea, a Royal Caribbean ship pulled into the "dangerous" dock and passengers disembarked. The other two ports where we docked were very commercialized and appeared to be run by Carnival Cruise Lines. For the most part the staff was friendly and polite except for the Maitre D' in the Paris Dining room who we rarely saw. My husband and I were placed at different tables in the dining, which we finally got straightened out. The food average, but sometimes cold when we received it. I have been on much better cruises with other cruise lines.

5/4/2011 Carnival Cruise - Who do I contact to inform the company of the very
Who do I contact to inform the company of the very poor performace we had on the cruise for the kids. We chose the cruiseline for only one reason .... kid we watched and could have fun without their parents. As a teacher i WATCHED THE MOST LAZY, POORLY DESIGNED KIDS PROGRAM EVER. We have been on 5 cruises and I could the borrowing activities. My daughter age 11 showed up each day ready to go .... the kids showed on the first day and then all said it was a waste of time. Highlights, now remember we have be on sdeveral trips, for a 11 year old. color a tshirt for 3 hours, watching a break dancer, going for ice cream.

It destroyed our very expensive vacation. Wer came from the west coast... cruise director during her show yells out who's from the west coast, she didn't her our cheers but procedes to tell everyone .. good because the ships (named thm ) are scary.

The water slide my kids werev so excited about was closed 3 of the 5 days. Every show was a joke and we never saw the cruise director. I seemed like high school cheerleaders.

What I can in conclusion ...service wasa great, food wonderful but the entertain was by far the worst ... on a ship with only two short stops.

Please check my cruise record and timjes I sailed with your company .... I was not just disappointed but crushed, because I won't be able to save up enough money to go again until my kids are all teenagers. POOR, I would expect someone to contact me

My husband and I just got back from a cruise 3/18-3/21, 4 days. Our set and sail account was all settled before we left the ship. My husband account was charged again for purchases from the ship on 3/22. So I just got done writing to the customer service people lets see if they call us back. I had no problems on the trip. The crew on the ship were actually nice but after Reading other people stories got me scared of ever traveling with carnival again.

1/6/2011 Carnival Cruise - Another very effective website to post customer
Another very effective website to post customer complaints on is www.RipOffReport.com.

I say this because I have worked in Internet Marketing for many years and RipOffReport.com comes up FIRST when someone google's the name of the business or person you complain about. It is SUPER effective [as is this site, btw] and it's always a good idea to post here and there. Trust me, having a RipOffReport on your side can be a very effective way to get the other party to respond and do the right thing. It's true that consumers have rights and should be treated FAIRLY when spending their [our] hard earned money. A big THANK YOU to sites like this one and others like it, like RipOffReport.com. We really need this in our society... we need to hold people's feet to the fire and hold them accountable when they do bad business and carry on unethical and dishonest business practices.

Best,
Mimi
