Senator , we don't need or want Obamas gun control. I have no criminal record so why should I be punished. Guns don't kill anymore than a hammer. What we need is good common sense.

4/8/2012 Contact Senator Mark Pryor - Dear Senator Pryor, I am concerned about a bill
Dear Senator Pryor, I am concerned about a bill that I understand President Obama is planning to sneak in on the american people after the election. It is bill #HR 4646 that Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-PA>) has put forth. It is to charge each one of us americans 1% on each deposit that we make at the bank and if we move any money from savings to our checking account there will be another 1% charged by the federal government. Everybody's social security electronic transfer each month also gets a 1% charge. I have a small business where my sales reach over a million dollars a year, but the profit margin is very small and in no way I can pay this. Tell me that there is not such a bill and if it is we all as americans should hit the streets and throw all of you out of office. I am waiting demanding a response from you, because this has upset me to no end that we have elected politicians trying to pass bills as such and I think that it will upset many people in all 52 states to no end.

3/28/2012 Contact Senator Mark Pryor - More research need to be done on the disease
More research need to be done on the disease Sarcoidosis.Very little is known about the disease and how to treat it. I was diagnosed in 1976 and have followed the things that have been done toward finding out about it. This month there was an article in Ebony magazine about the disease and the doctor was asking patients to contact their congressman and ask for fund to do more research on the disease. It is a predominantly black disease, no one knows the cause, there is no cure and the medicine to treat it is almost as bad as the disease. I am a retired office nurse and worked for a group of doctors at the time of my diagnoses. It is rough, I now have asthma and rheumatoid arthritis. My medical expenses are more than I can afford but by the grace of God I am still trying, so if more research can be done I am for it.

Thank You,

2/5/2012 Contact Senator Mark Pryor - I am mad about our tax dollars furnishing cell
I am mad about our tax dollars furnishing cell phones and free monthly minutes to people in this country that do not work. In my small town of Palestine Arkansas there is even small time dope dealers walking around with these free phones. Did I say free phones I meant to say cell phones that us taxpayers are paying for. I am sick of the way that this administration is bankrupting this country. This costing us millions of dollars and it needs to be stopped and the phone service cut off. The Federal government ( our tax money) and then the universal fee that is tacked on our monthly bills each month is where this money is coming from to pay for these misfits free phone service and we working people are struggling each month to pay our own bills and then have to pay for theirs.

12/19/2011 Contact Senator Mark Pryor - Purpose: 1. Resolve the unbalanced U. S. budget.

Purpose: 1. Resolve the unbalanced U. S. budget.
2. Resolve the large U. S. debt.
3. Remove one reason that large corporations cannot commit the approximately 1 trillion dollars of cash that they possess, because they have no “clarity”.

Proposal: Require the government to enact a law that for a long period, i.e. 50 years, that each year the government will increase the TOTAL REVENUE 1%, and will decrease the TOTAL EXPENSES 1%. The accomplishment of the ACTUAL 1% increase in TOTAL REVENUE and the ACTUAL 1% decrease in TOTAL EXPENSES will be measured and agreed by the Treasury and/or congressional budget office annually. The effect is that TOTAL REVENUE AND TOTAL EXPENSES are reduced 1% per year. Congress, i.e. the government, will determine what specific revenue and specific expenses comprise the reduction in annul TOTAL REVENUE AND EXPENSES. If actual TOTAL REVENUE is not increased 1% by measurement, then the following-year-requirement will be adjusted, plus or minus the difference automatically by the original long-term law. If actual TOTAL EXPENSES are not reduced 1% by measurement, then the following-year-requirement will be adjusted, plus or minus the difference automatically by the original long-term law.

The budget will balance, the debt will be paid, and corporations will have “clarity”. The USA paid the Revolutionary Way debt, the Civil War debt and survived the Great Depression and WWII by a little-at-a-time approach. A great reform is not necessary.
