7/30/2010 HORRIBLE customer service. On hold for more than half an hour, as I write this, for a customer service supervisor. Last week, I called and spoke to a supervisor about ongoing problems with 2 of our family phones, long hold times for tech support and the failure to obtain return calls. As an accommodation to us, since we've been with Verizon Wireless for almost 20 years, they sent my daughter a new phone instead of yet another refurb. It didn't work right, immediately out of the box. Despite their 30-day worry free guarantee, they wanted to send her a refurb. They were sarcastic and derogatory to her when she called to complain about that. I have problems with my phone again, so called again to complain again. Again, I was promised a call back and again I didn't get it. So, on hold AGAIN for a customer service supervisor. I am looking to get out of my contract at this point because I'm sick of truly poor customer service and very long wait times. I'm also sick of being treated like a moron ("You calling from the phone you need us to work on?" "You sure you want to talk to a customer service supervisor when you called earlier for a tech support supervisor?"). I DO NOT recommend Verizon and at this point am likely to switch our 7 accounts to the $10 per month minimum to be done with them.

7/23/2010 On 7/8/10 I was called by Verizonwireless while in traffic that I could get one month free service for renewing my Account with Verizonwireless. I told the man to call me back later but no one called me back so I went down to the store and renew my account and new phones. They told me they had no free phone for a month but to call Verizonwireless about it. I called and was told that I had to buy over the phone but I told them they didn't tell me that over the phone. This is not good business and when my service is up, I will go to AT&T for my next phones. I have been with Verizonwireless for many years. Lee Hall I was treated great at the store.

7/17/2010 Just acquired In-House-Agent service. Tried to reset password as I don't remember current password. This is necessary to register with In-House-Agent. Told to contact Verizon Customer Service and toak with a human. Thank you. bb

7/15/2010 I added international and am now stick in Amsterdam airport with no email nor phone service! VZW is becoming as bad as VZ Business. This blows!

7/12/2010 My wife set up international calling w/ customer service before leaving for Europe but when she arrived it didn't work. I called cust service, they said the SIMS card isn't activated and they must have forgotten to ask for the # to activate it before leaving. I now have to try to reach her SOME HOW to het the 15-18 digit # on card so I can get it activated???? So much for me being able to reach her in case of an emergency... I will note this is the 1st problem I have had w/ Verizon but w/ my family out of country it is a BIG problem for me... Tom

7/9/2010 I have just spoken to STEVE in ALABAMA customer service location and he was TERRIFIC.I had a problem with unwanted obscene texts which he was able to permanently block for me. Tracked my account and saw my problems and handled my billing adjustment. He had the patience of a saint and worked with this older lady. He is an asset to your organization.

7/6/2010 We have just changed our Verizon Services while speaking with Representative Ladaron yesterday. Now it is almost 2 pm CST, and we can't use our Verizon phones. I was told that the transformation from Analog service to Digital service would be today and take approximately 1 hour. Our phone light is blinking and we can't get into the voice mails. Please let me know when this will be cleared up.
