7/8/2010 6/10/10 I have to say AOL has the most horrific customer service this side of NY. I have never been so frustrated and annoyed with their lack of personnel and experience. I believe they have caught on to the "press 0" method, as it no longer works. AOL is unprofessional, unreliable and frankly i keep getting viruses on my aol account; none of my other email accounts have ever had a virus, not sure what that is about. any ideas???

5/18/2010 I AGREE. WE CALLED TO CANCEL OUR AOL ACCOUNT AND THEY KEPT TRYING TO TAKE PAYMENT FROM THIS ACCOUNT. I CAN;T FIND A NUMBER TO CALL THEM BUT I GET CALLS AT HOME SAYING I OWE THEM.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WE HAVE TRIED TO CLOSE THIS ACOUNT FOR 3 YEARS. DONOT TRY TO GET MONEY FROM THE ACCOUNT. WE PAID YOU SLICK CROOKS. BECAUSE WE GAVE YOU THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT BUT NOW IT IS PISSING ME OFF. WE ARE ASKING AGAIN CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT.LIZ

3/15/2010 If you think that you have problems cancelling aol subscriptions from the us just try it from the united kingdom. I used to travel to the states several times a year and set up an aol account from our vacation home in florida. It has been over a year since i was in the us and i subscribe to aol from the uk. So far I have found it impossible to cancel my subscription to aol america despite the card originally used being expired. I cant even log on to aol america as any computer over here defaults to aol.co.uk who cant even trace where the payment requests from the us come from.

3/4/2010 AOL IS A THIEF AND RIPS PEOPLE OFF. I WILL NEVER SET UP WITH THEM EVER AGAIN. I HAVE CANCELED MY ACCOUNT OVER TWO YEARS AGO AND STILL HAVING TO FIGHT WITH THEM ABOUT CHARGES .

7/27/2009 I tried to ask a question of customer support, but was told there would be a charge of $14.00,$24.00, or $34.00!!! I never got my answer, but I think I am leaving AOL.

6/4/2009 I have been trrying to close my account since the middle of April. All I get is blocks stopping me. I have tried several times on my account and it freezes up whenever I try. I sent a blog, I have sent message through comments twice on surveys with negative responses on last survey. I did a live chat and AOL went unresponding and disconnected me in the middle of typing a message about disconnects and when it came back up he had closed the session. I have called and was told they were closed twice. I was double charged on credit card Nov through Mar. I sent copy of credit card bill for the 5 months I got from my bank officer. She had been aware of this situation from the beginning.

8/6/2008 NEVER HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE FINDING OLD INFORMATION ON AOL LIKE I AM HAVING NOW SINCE THIS SYSTEM RUNS ON WINDOWS VISTA AND NOT THE OLD WINDOWS XP......PLEASE HELP
