11/11/2013 I figured out how to contact MCI by phone
I FIGURED IT OUT... I spent a good hour and a half and found out how to get through: First you have to dial the official Customer Service Number 1800 436-4444. When it asks you to verify the number your calling from just press 8 the automated system will state that your option was invalid. then wait a moment and press 8 again. When I checked this method again to make sure it worked I had to press 8 a third time, so just FYI. The system will switch you over to another automated system that doesn't end up in empty air. It does no good to press zero for a customer service representative, you just end up with empty air and then a hang up. I called regarding a business line so I pressed 1. I was put on hold for a moment them some music came on, within 15 seconds a live rep. picks up.

I've been on hold for 15 minutes now and am sick of hearing "All representatives are assisting other customers. Please continue to hold. A representative will be with you shortly." Really? Shortly huh? TERRIBLE customer service!!!

Had a bad storm on July 13, knocked out our home telephone system, I cant reach anyone to come here and fix it, I get excuses from local telephone repair sights. My wife has type one Diabetes, just out of the hospital if she gets ill again and I have to drive her to the hospital I will get me a attorney and file suit against the telephone compny

8/22/2011 MCI - Have prepaid card and found it impossible to get
Have prepaid card and found it impossible to get customer service support. Can not get thru to all numbers in Philippines and there is no support. Tryed calling many numbers all dead ends that wont let you get to a human.

May as well throw card with many prepaid minutes in the rubish.

1/19/2011 I'm not a MCI customer but we have been turned
I'm not a MCI customer but we have been turned over to a Collection agency anyhow for some unknown MCI bill from 2000, I have no idea what it is for but it is on our credit file, failed attemps to contact MCI for the last year and when I do finaly get through to MCI after a 1/2 hour hold time I get disconnected each time. This bill is for $165.00 and I have never used MCI, so I have no clue as to the bill???
Here is the number for collection that I found 877-624-9134, have food and drink nearby as you will be on hold a long time.
I have called my Attornory and will be starting litagation against MCI and I.C. System,INC. I will spend what ever it cost to see MCI in front of a Judge, count on it.

12/17/2010 MCI customer service and billing is the worst I
MCI customer service and billing is the worst I have encountered. When they were unable to charge my credit card for some reason (the card was still valid), they referred me to a collection agency and made repeated collection calls WITHOUT having ever notified me of a problem or sending a paper bill. There was no way to correct this except a call during business hours - something that costs me considerable work time. Their email system and online billing system were unable to fix the problem.

9/5/2010 I am a current MCI customer with a billing
I am a current MCI customer with a billing problem. This number did not work. It told me that they were having "technical difficulties." I think it is because their caller ID recognized me as a current customer. I am cancelling their service. I've been a customer of MCI for several years and am getting very frustrated with their customer service!!!
