Yesterday I locked my keys in my truck by mistake at Walmart I called Progressive to see if I could get roadside assistance to unlock my truck all I could get was automation and it ask me for my policy number,even if the policy number were in the truck, it wouldn,t have done me any good being locked in the truck, so I called a towing company and had my truck unlocked in about twenty minutes, THANKS ALOT PROGRESSIVE FOR NOTHING, moral to this story you better memorize your policy number WHAT A JOKE.

8/3/2015 Progressive Insurance - We allowed Progressive to deduct less than $100
We allowed Progressive to deduct less than $100 but I cant recall at the moment the exact amount from our bank account. They took MUCH MUCH more than that. Then they lied to us repeatedly in conversation about how long it would take to get our refund since they had no business taking our money. First I was told three times they cannot get to me any faster than 10 business days and how sorry they were. But after the fourth "supervisor", I was told that she could call my bank immediately and do a 3-way call to get it done. Progressive is scum. There company are full of deceptive folks who lie for their convenience. Dont deal with these slime. Run as fast as you can!! I would give them negative 5 stars if I could. They suck, are scum, trash, slime, etc. To lie to me three times? Seriously?

8/26/2013 Progressive Insurance - Called Progressive today to see why my insurance rates keep going up
I called Progressive today to see why my insurance went up again like $143.85. Will I have good credit but they said that I made to mean credit checks like 5 when to come to find out I only made two. I didn't know that if you get more then two a year it give you a bad score with Progressive. Will I am looking in to the other 3 which we didn't do. Come to find out as of today that they have no recorded of me call for the one at Macys. And I can not find out who this Sterling Inc. is who said that I called as well. And the 3rd. one was by Rate Geniu on Oct 31.2011 don't have who made this one as well and is checking to see. But the hole point of this comment is you should not have to paid a high cost for coverage if you get any credit checks. They tell you all the time on the new on your computer to do this will DON'T it can hurt you with your insurance. If there is any one out there who can tell me who this (Sterling INC.) I would like to get a hold of them. If I didn't hear form any one in the next few days I will get a hold of BBB. They can help I just don't like to have to go and do that. Thank You for any help out there.

i was with state farm for 15 years ,got a dui and my rates went from 248.85 every 6 months to 987.54, because i was such a good costermer they didnt want to drop meWHAT A JOKE Progressive cost me 435.00 every 6 months for 2 cars,full coverage on a 06-g6 and libility on a cavalier,it was 50 dallars higher till the sr22 went off, so i think they deserve alot of credit in my case for being fairI think itmight have sme thing to do with the state your in.Our Insurance com. is very aggresive with any company when it comes to any kind of claims.Also i checked SEVERAL other companies after my DUI and they were all the same,Progessive gave me a chance and i thank them.......

Do not go with this company, I rented a car from a friend used it for 2 months and had insurance from Progressive online. After I returned my car i wanted to cancel insurance and they charged me 50 bucks as cancellation fee which I was not even aware. They also threatened me to bring down my score which is about 800. well I will make sure that this company does not trick anybody else and I share this experience with everybody I know. I was involved in an automobile accident, not my fault, on March 15, 2011. The other vehicles driver was texting, while driving, and made a left hand turn in front of us, 3rd offense. Totaling out our 2006 Nissan, having my daughter, my wife and myself transported to the ER by ambulance.
The other vehicle was insured by progressive and mine, by GEICO. Now 5 months, later, the Progressive claims agent, handling this, not in a quick and timely manner. All documents, were forwarded, and now they have to be INVESTIGATED OR AUDITED. (GEICO has paid all hospital bills, Doctor's bill's, Rehab Bills, Nissan payoff, Rental Car and reimbursed us for medicines. All Progressive, has paid, is the $500.00 deductible and harassed us over these bills and attempting to downgrade, the lost wages. (My wife was out of work, for 65 days with 4 broken ribs, and I had to use my "Vacation Time" of 3 weeks, due to a separated sternum and neck and back injuries. (My daughter, has gotten an attorney, on this).
Based on this, I believe, what I have been told: "Get an attorney, because, Progressive, has a very poor payment record, and you need an attorney, to get any sort of settlement." Progressive, is not a friendly insurance company, when it comes time to pay out any claims, but are ready to accept your money, to cover you.

Dear Progressive Corporate and Investor Relations , I feel this letter be addressed to both as I was (before I sold ) a shareholder as well as a 10 year veteran customer of yours. Let me just tell you the story, I have had progressive for many many years as you would be able to see based on my file. My premiums have never been late as they have always been deducted from my checking account which was great as I didn’t really need to worry about my insurance being paid. However, last month I noticed that you didn’t debit my account for the amount of my insurance as I do pay on a monthly basis. I called customer service and talked to a very nice rep who informed me that I was canceled because there was a form that was sent to me back in November that I simply never received. Now I have been in customer service all my life, is this appropriate customer service for a customer who has been with you for over 10 years? You simply cancel them with no phone call, no email, no letter, no nothing, REALLY? Can honestly sit there and tell me that you had NO ONE available to simply pick up the phone and say “hey you are about to be canceled if we do not get that form back”. This is the biggest crock, I have ever heard, so let me just tell you what I did. Once I got off the phone, I called my broker and sold EVER SHARE from my trust that I owned in Progressive, I have never been so upset in my life over being treated like a number, so after I hung up with my broker, I called Geico, I explain to the agent what YOU GUYS did to me and they were more than happy to take me on as a client, they bend over backwards to help me in every way they could, in fact, before I left the office for the day they made sure that I was covered on the ride home, since I had not been covered by you. Normally I am not one to complain about silly simple things, but I drove around uninsured, simply because one of your 24,638 employees didn’t take the time to make a phone call. I thought you needed to know, after all I was a very loyal customer for over 10 years, it’s just rather unfortunate that this had to happen, I will NOT be back nor will I ever recommend anyone to progressive. In fact I have every intent to share this story on line as well as in public to anyone who will listen, after if you have put me at risk, how many of your other customers are also at risk?

I CALL A PROGRESSIVE AGENT TO ADD A CAR IN MY INSURANCE. AFTER SHOPPING AROUND . he said to me oh! mr. lopez your insured cars are only going to be $ 480.00. for six months. I said only 480.00 , for the two cars , he said yes. . he replied to me yes this is a great deal . only $ 480 for 6 months,I TOLD THIS AGENT LET ME CALL MY WIFE AND I'LL BE BACK WITH YOU. AFTER TELLING MY WIFE ABOUT THIS PRICE, SHE TELLS ME IT SOUNDS GREAT BETTER THAN GEICO. I CALLED BACK AFTER 10 MINUTES. AND I TOLD THE PROGRESSIVE REP. I WAS READY TO MAKE THE DEAL. THIS PERSON ALL HE ASK ME WAS MY WIFE NEW CAR'S VIN NUMBER WCHICH I GIVE IT TO HIM, ONCE AGAIN HE SAID MR. LOPEZ YOUR CAR INSURANCE IS GOING TO BE $ 480.OO FOR SIX MONTHS. I ASK HIM HOW COULD I EVEN SAVE MORE HE OFFERED ME THE PAPERLESS SAVINGS OF 5 %. SO I GLADLY AGREED WITH IT. HE TOLD ME ONCE I GET MY INSURANCE POLICY VIA E-MAIL, TO FOLLOW UP TO START MY SAVINGS. SO I HANGED UP 5 MINUTES LATER I SEE THAT MY POLICY WENT UP LIKE ABOUT $ 1,000. SO I SEND HIM BACK AN E-MAIL CANCELING THE POLICY AND KEEPING IN MY INSURANCE MY DODGE NEON 2003. I COMMENT THIS INCIDENT AT WORK AND MY CO-WORKERS TOLD ME THAT PROBABLY I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND HIM; BUT THE FUNNY STORY IS THAT I WAS TALKING TO HIM IN MY NATIVE LANGUAGE SPANISH.
