My black Ford Focus was in a parking garage on June 2nd, 2015. No one was driving it that day. The driver was home recovering from surgery two weeks before 06/02/15. No one else drives the car. What is a TxTag???? We're from Indiana and are not familiar with this.

I bought my Tex Tag almost a year ago, providing my current e-mail address. I received one statement by e-mail months ago, nothing since. I do use toll roads regularly. Every so often, when I check my on-line banking acct., there'll be a deduction of $20 by Tex-Dot to continue use. Never know when this will happen. Exciting (sarcasm)!

I just spoke with a Tex Tag rep, and she said she has no idea why I'm not getting my e-statements. My correct e-mail address is on file. All she could do is put a note in my file stating that I want my statements e-mailed to me.

A friend bought a tag not long after I did, and he always gets statements by e-mail in a timely manner.

If you call the Tx Tag Customer Service, the wait time is very long. Apparently, the company (owned by a company in Spain) overcharged credit card numbers (just listen to the message). No action, though, is needed on the customer's part...they will credit...don't know when or who or how. Had credit card with expired date...we rec'd. a new card with a new date and didn't remember to let Tx Tag know. HCTRA Harris County Toll Road Authority had a balance on an EZ Tag acct and we had less than a $5 bill which was taken care of BEFORE a Jan 21, 2015 date. Spoke to Samantha with Tx Tag (nice) and Kimberly with HCTRA and between these two nice ladies, we had it solved with new expir. dates. ALL taken care of. NOT! Received a bill from a lawyer for $152.52 from HCTRA...and after 10+ calls, faxing a Protest to the 214 Fax # provided...and Saul of Tx Tag saying okay...will send email to HCTRA that says to remove the 'violations'...but HCTRA says NO we didn't receive this. Found email from me to Kimberly with HCTRA...nice lady whom I had contacted and had been contacted by nice lady with TxTag...Samantha. We had this ALL worked out but HCTRA "No, we don't. How do you want to pay the $152.52. I now have another HCTRA team member Charlie who says Pay the $152.52...how do you want to pay? Seriously, Tx Tag can OVERCHARGE and just have a prerecorded message on their toll free number but our Tx Tag (less than $5 that was taken care of before Jan 21, 2015 deadline date (I have the date it was paid ($5 81) and told them ALL of this...and that Samantha TxTag and Kimberly HCTRA 'got it' and helped...had email and documentation of confirmation of taking care of it.
HCTRA "How do you want to pay for the $152.52?" Cancelling HCTRA because THEY are the ones who will not listen or help. If someone knows corporate address mailing address and the CEO of HCTRA, please, post. I plan to Priority Mail a letter with my documentation to him/her. This is NOT customer service in any shape or form.

And for the love of god, if you expect us to fax something to you to prove we were not in Texas, PLEASE put your fax # on your website somewhere so that I don't have to be on hold for over 30 minutes!!

2/2/2015 TX Tag sent us a bill for our daughter's car.
TX Tag sent us a bill for our daughter's car. Apparently Illinois issues car and truck license plates with the same #'s (but in a different grouping of the #'s). Who knew? Anyway, we called and were on hold for 30+ minutes only to be told that they had a picture of a blue SUV (ours is silver) and that WE needed to provide a fax of our registration and a letter stating that we were not in Texas on that day. Only then (after all of that time on our part), will they go after the correct Illinois license plate holder. We live in Springfield, Illinois, and have NEVER - NOT ONE OF US - been to Texas in our lives. I think it is an abysmal policy to require us to prove we were not there. I think the onus should be on them to prove we were. Ridiculous.

You have the lousiest Customer Service in the world. And please stop saying that "your wait time is three minutes". It's more like three hours, or never. I'd rate you lower if your system permitted it.

The site does not allow for connecting a new tx tag with a new tag. You have to call in. Phone # was busy for several days' attempts Finally got through to be put through a loop of no correct automated choices. Found that 0 would work to get a live person - with hold time of over 30 minutes!

Not user friendly at all and not customer friendly.

I have never selected a pin number. I am only trying to call to update my credit card date of expiration and am unwilling to hold for 27 minutes. This is most discouraging. The recording states that I don't even know my own zip code. Help!

To whom it may concern. At this time I do not have a Texas Toll Tag, but have intentions in getting one. I was in Dallas about 2 1/2 months ago and got a bill in the mail of appx. 13.00 + change. I checked my bank account today and somehow your company had deducted this amount out of my account. I would just like to know how you got into my bank account and paid this bill as I was planning to pay the bill today...Lucky I looked at my bank account and saw where you had taken my money without my consent as then I would have double paid this Tag payment. Please write me back and let me know how you did this. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter
Sincerely,
Paula
