I Work for a big company which I am constantly calling company after company to find orignial titles and lien releases for titles so we can sell the vehicles. I called Ford motor credit company i hit the 0 button in order to speak with a live representative. It took her 30 seconds to be connected to me and then less than 5 minutes for me to make a 17.00 payment and have my lien release on its way to me. She was very nice and the customer service was good. I dont say this about too many places but, I felt strong enough about Ford motor Credit Company in order to leave this comment as well.

trying to get a sign off on a purchased Lynx, that was leased in 1985-88. Paid it off lease January 6th 1989. the Ford motor co.credit is still listed as lein owner on the registration. We are attempting to donate the car to charity but cannot until we get clear title. I called the number information operator gave me and was assured the release would be mailed. That was April 13th, on April 23rd I again called, and was told it had been mailed April 13th. as of today it has not arrived. Can you please send me another number to call and check on this matter. The credit was originally out of Dublin, CA. Anything you can do to assist us will be appreciated.Mary

THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR TITLES OF A PAID OFF VEHICLE. FIRST YOU NEED TO CALL THE BANK WHO YOU MADE YOUR PAYMENTS TO ASK THEM FOR THE TITLE, IF THEY DON'T HAVE THE TITLE ASK FOR A LIEN SATISFACTION LETTER TO BE MAIL TO YOU. TAKE THE LETTER TO THE DMV: DRIVERS MOTOR VEHICLE AND APPLY FOR A DUPLICATE TITLE THE AMOUNT SHOULD RUN YOU UNDER A $100

I have a Ford Focus that I bought at the overseas military sales. I needed to ship my car and called in 3 times requesting the documentation needed to apply. They still have not sent it to me. I also asked for a refinance on my car due to me leaving the military, and the woman on the phone made me feel horrible about it. She was rude, and did not listen to a word I had to say. She also made me feel like an idiot when I asked about the no payment until the end of lease. Do NOT let that statement fool you, it is only for one or two months (and they add it on in the end), what they wrote on their website is misleading. I have been on time with every single payment for three years now, and the minute I call them after three years of no calling, and no problems, they act like they are being put out by helping me. If you are thinking of going through Ford Credit, please rethink that route, it will save you time in the long run, also, hostility from their lack of customer service. ;-) ...

I have a 1999 ford f350crew cab it just turned 300,000 miles and the truck runs great (nock on wood), i am a flooring contractor and snow plow with it and i put in some heavy loads in it like some big rolls of carpet and some heavy pallets of tile, besides some parts that needed to be changed like compresser, theromasat, breaks, tires, front bearings, but never any problems with the engine or transmission,i am getting some body rust but that is accepted with the winters in new jersey. i love my truck and i just want to thank ford for making a great product, love to buy a new one but times are tough in the flooring business and can't afford a new one. Thank you very much for making a very dependable truck. KEN.

Feb 28 2011 I bought a showroom car. Mid feb 2012 it was in the shop not a year old for transmission problems it also needed a new bumper but that was my fault. They called me a week later telling me it was ready the fixed the exterior but when I went to pick it up they did not check my tranny didn't do the tire rotation oil change and inspection I had asked for so they got in for the next morning to check my tranny they then call me saying it needs replaced so that took 3 more days they call me yet again tell me its ready for pick up go down there still my inspection wasn't done. Three weeks layer I'm going down a hill trying to get home and it tacked 6 grand rpm at 20mph pulled off called a Bert Wolfe employee they tell me to call a towing services (not saying who ) and they will cover it. They argued with me saying there's nothing wrong then charge me for the towing and said I can't get it til its paid. My bf asked the manager Dustin what happens when her and my 2 yrs old are in the car it does it and she wrecks dustins reply well then you'll have to call Ford. Needless to say I called and got my a lawyer never will I buy a Ford ever again

I'm not saying that Ford Credit is bad, but alot of their employees are. I owned 2 vehicles which I financed from Ford in 2006. I put $5000 down on one and $3500 down on the other. I never missed a payment and in 2009 I lost my job and asked Ford if they could lower my payments by refinancing my loans. They did cut both payments in half, but they acted like they were doing me a HUGE favor. Even with these payments cut in half, I started to have trouble paying the car payments. One could say that I shouldve sold one of the vehicles, but I used the truck for odd jobs that I did and the car got good gas mileage. After being a month behind a woman I believe her name was Connie, started calling me, and there was no working with her. I was a scumbag, pay us now, end of story. So I just kept making my payments when I could. I wasn't going to listen to this woman trashing me so badly over the phone. So I played the one month behind game for the next 6 months. I ignored all this woman's phone calls because I didn't want to deal with her. I fell 2 months behind in January 2011 because it was right after Christmas and I just didn't have the money. Of course this woman was one it (which I understand is her job, but treating people like scum isn't going to help matters) and this time she called my mother and my ex fiance (whom I put down as refrences). She called me every name in the book to my mom and asked if I intended to try and steal the cars. She told my ex fiance that she was smart to break it off with my and said I owed tons in back child support and my ex said I didn't owe her anything and this woman says, "oh, well he must have another kid that you don't know about". Well of course I was furious and I called Ford and filed a complaint. I was paid the following Monday from my new job and I paid one month on the truck and caught the car up. The next day the repo man showed up. He was nice, just doing his job. He actually let me keep the car on my word but he had orders to reposses both vehicles. He said that this woman Connie had called his headquarters 5 times the night before and 6 times that morning demanding that he go and reposses my vehicles. Even though I made a payment on the truck and was only 1 month behind, Ford refused to let me keep it. I kept the car. Ford sold the truck at auction and slapped me with a bill for the difference...$9000. Thanks Ford, your employees use you as their personal playground to act like Rulers of the world
