Bounty Customer Service, Product Complaints & Support

Customer reviews on CSN

Bounty customers may need help with a defective or damaged roll, unusual paper-towel quality, missing sheets, packaging concerns, product availability, coupons, a retailer purchase, ingredient or safety questions, or another product complaint. Bounty is a Procter & Gamble brand, and consumer questions are handled through Bounty and P&G Consumer Care.

Quick Answer: Bounty Consumer Care can be reached at 1-800-926-8689, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time. Customers can also use the official Bounty contact page to submit questions or product feedback online.

How to Contact Bounty Customer Service

  • Bounty Consumer Care: 1-800-926-8689
  • Customer Service Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. ET
  • Online Contact: Bounty Contact Us
  • Bounty Help / FAQs: Bounty Consumer Support

  • Parent Company: The Procter & Gamble Company
  • P&G Headquarters: One Procter & Gamble Plaza, Cincinnati, OH 45202
  • P&G Corporate Phone: 513-983-1100 – corporate inquiries, not the preferred Bounty product-support route

For an ordinary Bounty product complaint, start with 1-800-926-8689 or the Bounty contact form rather than calling Procter & Gamble headquarters.

Important: Keep the Bounty package until a product-quality complaint is resolved. Consumer Care may need information from the package, along with the product variety, roll size, purchase location, purchase date, and details about what went wrong.

Best Bounty Support Route by Issue

  • Defective or poor-quality paper towels: Contact Bounty Consumer Care and keep the package and affected product.
  • Rolls separating, tearing, or performing unexpectedly: Report the specific product variety and package information to Bounty.
  • Package damaged at the store: Ask the retailer about an exchange or return; contact Bounty if the issue appears to be a manufacturing defect.
  • Wrong item in a delivery order: Contact the retailer or delivery service that fulfilled the order.
  • Missing online order: Contact the retailer that sold and shipped the Bounty product.
  • Coupon question: Use Bounty’s current Coupons page or P&G brandSAVER.
  • Cannot find a particular Bounty product: Use Bounty’s Where to Buy tools and check additional retailers.
  • Product ingredient or material question: Review the Bounty FAQ or contact Consumer Care.
  • Money-back or satisfaction question: Contact Bounty Consumer Care and ask about any current offer or eligibility before discarding the receipt or packaging.

How to Report a Bounty Product Quality Problem

If a new package of Bounty paper towels appears defective or performs differently than expected, keep both the product and packaging until you have contacted Bounty.

Useful information can include:

  • Exact Bounty product name
  • Select-A-Size, Full Size, Essentials, Prints, or another variety
  • Package and roll size
  • UPC
  • Production or package markings when available
  • Store or website where the product was purchased
  • Purchase date
  • Approximate price
  • Description of the problem
  • Photos when they help show the issue

Possible product-quality concerns can include towels that separate unexpectedly, damaged rolls, unusual texture, inconsistent perforations, packaging defects, or another condition that appears inconsistent with the product normally purchased.

Bounty’s own review guidelines specifically direct customers with product selection, pricing, ordering, delivery, or other customer-service concerns to contact the company directly instead of using a product-review form.

Product Complaint Tip: If you regularly purchase the same Bounty variety, explain what changed compared with previous packages. Specific details such as sheet size, texture, strength, absorbency, perforation, packaging, and where the package was purchased can help Consumer Care understand the complaint.

Bounty Refunds and Retailer Returns

Most consumers purchase Bounty through a retailer such as a grocery store, warehouse club, pharmacy, mass merchant, or online marketplace. The retailer therefore normally controls its own store return or exchange policy.

If a package is damaged, incorrect, missing from an online order, or otherwise affected by a retailer fulfillment problem, start with the company that processed the sale.

For an apparent Bounty manufacturing or product-quality problem, contact Bounty Consumer Care as well. Bounty’s current Consumer Support system includes information about its money-back guarantee and other consumer-resolution options, but eligibility can depend on the particular purchase and current offer.

Before requesting assistance, retain:

  • Purchase receipt when available
  • Product package
  • UPC
  • Affected product
  • Photos of the problem
  • Any retailer refund or exchange information

Do not mail a product or package to Procter & Gamble headquarters unless Consumer Care specifically gives you mailing instructions.

Bounty Coupons and Discounts

Bounty provides a current Coupons page that connects shoppers with qualifying P&G offers. Available promotions can change by product size, retailer, date, and location.

Bounty also participates in P&G brandSAVER, which provides digital coupons and other savings for participating Procter & Gamble brands.

Check Current Bounty Coupons

If a coupon will not apply at checkout, read the offer restrictions carefully. A coupon may exclude:

  • Certain roll counts
  • Bounty Essentials
  • Trial or travel sizes
  • Specific larger pack sizes
  • Expired offers
  • Retailers that do not participate in the promotion

Can’t Find a Bounty Product?

Retailers decide which Bounty varieties and package sizes they stock. A particular product can also be temporarily unavailable or seasonal.

Current Bounty products include varieties such as:

  • Bounty Select-A-Size
  • Bounty Full Size Sheets
  • Bounty Essentials Select-A-Size
  • Bounty Prints
  • Bounty Regular Rolls
  • Bounty Paper Napkins

Product varieties, prints, package counts, and roll sizes can change over time.

If your usual package disappears from a store, check another retailer or use the product page on BountyTowels.com to look for current availability.

Bounty Roll Sizes

Bounty sells paper towels in several roll-size configurations. Depending on the current product line and retailer, shoppers may encounter Regular, Double, Triple, Mega, Mega XL, or other package descriptions.

Bounty explains these larger sizes by comparing the number of sheets with its Regular Roll. The exact number of sheets can still vary according to the Bounty variety and package.

When comparing prices between stores, compare the actual sheet count and dimensions rather than relying only on terms such as Double or Mega.

Bounty Select-A-Size Versus Full Size

Bounty currently offers both Select-A-Size and Full Size products.

Select-A-Size provides shorter perforated sheets so consumers can choose a smaller amount of paper towel for smaller messes.

Full Size provides a larger individual sheet for cleanups where greater coverage is useful.

Bounty also offers Essentials products positioned as a lower-cost option within the brand.

Can Bounty Replace a Disinfectant?

Bounty paper towels can be used to wipe surfaces and remove spills, dirt, and other messes, but a paper towel by itself is not a disinfecting chemical.

If a surface needs to be disinfected, follow the directions for an appropriate disinfecting product, including any required surface contact time. The paper towel may be used as part of the cleaning process when appropriate, but do not assume that wiping alone disinfects a contaminated surface.

This distinction can be especially important after handling raw meat, cleaning bathrooms, dealing with pet messes, or cleaning another potentially contaminated area.

Bounty Product Safety Questions

Procter & Gamble maintains a formal product-safety program and provides ingredient and safety information through its consumer resources.

Questions commonly addressed in Bounty’s current support system include:

  • Whether Bounty paper towels are bleached
  • Whether they contain animal by-products
  • Whether packaging is recyclable
  • Microwave-use questions
  • Product materials
  • Appropriate uses for Bounty paper towels

For a safety question involving a specific product, use the directions and information for that exact variety rather than assuming every paper-towel product is identical.

What If a Bounty Product Causes an Injury or Reaction?

If a Bounty product is involved in an injury, unexpected reaction, contamination concern, or another safety issue, stop using the affected product when appropriate and retain the packaging.

Contact Bounty Consumer Care and provide the details requested by the representative. For an urgent medical issue, contact an appropriate healthcare or emergency service rather than relying on Bounty customer service.

Useful documentation can include:

  • Product name
  • Package information
  • Purchase location
  • Purchase date
  • Description and timing of the incident
  • Photos when appropriate

Bounty Customer Service Reviews and Complaints

CustomerServiceNumbers.com currently displays a Bounty rating of 3.0 out of 5 stars based on one review.

The single visible review was submitted on April 15, 2014. The reviewer objected to a Bounty television commercial involving a food spill and questioned the message the advertisement conveyed about cleaning and disinfection.

The review does not describe an actual interaction with Bounty Consumer Care and does not report a defective package, refund problem, coupon problem, retailer issue, or other customer-service experience.

Because there is only one review and it dates to 2014, there is not enough CustomerServiceNumbers.com feedback to identify current positive or negative patterns involving Bounty product quality, absorbency, packaging, availability, refunds, coupons, or customer-service responsiveness.

Bounty Awful Commercial

April 15, 2014

Hey Bounty, can you justify the awful commercial? Shameful and teaching children to disrespect food and have a mother egg them on? Not only that, milk is bacteria that will grow, and a paper towel does not disinfect. WHAT A DISGRACE. FOR THOSE THAT HAVE NOT SEE THE COMMERCIAL YOU WOULD BE APPALLED.
