I have been trying to get a refund for a month now. I have provided them with tracking numbers proving the product made it back to their warehouse. I am told a different story every time I get customer service. I have made at least 9 calls to them.I will never deal with gnc again. I hope to be able to get my $160.00 back.
I was at store number 02656 in Maple Hill Mall, Kalamazoo, MI today and was helped by Eric. This is the third time he has assisted me and I find him to be not only kind and engaging, but also incredibly helpful and full of knowledge to answer my questions. He’s one of the best customer service people I have experienced anywhere. When I walked in he remembered me and my typical order and when I had questions about the vitamins I usually purchase the knew the answers and was pleasant in explaining things to me. Unlike many of the over-muscled, steroid looking guys I often find in your stores, he is trim, athletic, good looking and a genuine person. He should be looked at by many as having real leadership potential.

Hi I went in to GNC the other day and I was just there to buy my usual fish oil and the guy that was working told me to get this fish oil niacin and he said I would not be disappointed with the results and I would also save money so I said what the heck and I bought it. I took it for the 1st time that night and 15 min after taking it my face, ears and neck got so hot to the point that I filled up a bucket of ice and kept my head in it for a long time! It was so uncomfortable and I was getting dizzy and actually thought I was going to die! It was such a terrible experience. So, I went back the next day to see if I could get the same brand of fish oil without the added niacin and do an even exchange and he said No sorry sir I can’t do that. I explained to him how I had a bad reaction to the Niacin and I just wanted the regular fish oil which was the exact price and he said no sir without a receipt I can’t make an even exchange… I said are u kidding me? U guys convinced me to get a fish oil that ended up giving me a reaction and u won’t even allow me to do an even exchange? He said nope. Not once did he even ask me if I was ok from the night before or not once did he apologize. Nothing. He just wouldn’t budge. I said to him, I didn’t save the receipt because first of all, it’s fish oil so the last thing on my mind is that I might need to return this and second of all I know that they can see my past purchases by looking in the system using my gold card! I told the guy to call the manager and he did and the manager wouldn’t budge either so I told the manager that he was going to lose my $200 month and I am just going to go to vitamin world and he said that’s fine. I said I hope this fish oil was worth losing a $2500 a year customer. He said so be it. I am floored! 02780
3-20-13 GNC, I am very disappointed to see that your company is now adding Carmine, a dead
insect dye to its mega women , multivitamin line. my question is; How could you contaminate your product in this fashion? What about food purity and safety? Did you not
about vegetable food dyes? I will certainly be avoiding that product and advise anyone I know to do the same.
