Trying to locate speedloaders for my S&W .357 mag revolver, model #68-2. Any hints on where to look? I appreciate any insights.
I have purchased Diamondback Sidekick revolver. 9 shot .22LR and a convertable cylinder for .22Magnum. The HKS 22-HR works perfectly with the .22LR but not for the magnum because the rim is slightly bigger. I have thought about reaming out the holes but then the holes would run into each other, and then not sure the .22Mag would latch.
Any thoughts by HKS making one for .22Mag?
I am looking for some .32 S&W speed-loaders to fit a Czechoslovakian Alfa revolver.
the distance between the centers of two opposing chambers measures 0.904″.
Would either of your models 32-K or the 32-J be anywhere near this measurement?
Will the 587-A 7 round speed loader fit the Ruger GP100 Model 1773 (357 Mag, 7 round revolver)?
No it doesn’t I purchased a bunch of them thinking that it would the aluminum shank is too long and would have to be cut down along with the plastic side wall of the speed loader itself for it to work properly I no longer have the receipt for them so I’m going to modify mine
Great products, but HKS is way behind. No dedicated .38/.357 LCR loader. The 36A for J-frames is not a great fit, too large a circle for the charge holes. No 8-shot .22 loader which would fit both the SP-101 and LCR .22 model guns. There are several others, like the newer 10-shot .22 models by several companies..
The website is way behind times too. No email, no message window, no 800 number. I know HKS will never see this, but I WOULD put in an email if there was one!
I BOUGHT THE MODEL 36-A SPEED LOADER FOR MY MODEL 49 SMITH AND WESSON AND WHEN YOU LOAD IT WITH 38 SP BULLETS IT WILL NOT LOAD THE GUN BECAUSE THE GRIP IS IN THE WAY AND WITH GRIP IN THE WAY THE LOADING ANGLE IS TO GREAT TO SLIDE THE BULLETS IN TO THE CYLINDER. YOU MAY WANT TO RECHECK THIS. MY GUN HAS THE FACTORY GRIPS AND IT IS THE J FRAME. I WILL TAKE IT BACK TO GANDER MTN. AND SHOW THEM. THANK YOU.
Just a short note to thank you for the quick service on a return. The Mdl # 451 was either chosen or shipped by mistake. The round trip took only 3 or 4 days and the trade was ‘spot on’. Exchanged the 451 for the 943 and just FYI the 943 works for both the Walthers PPK/S and the Taurus TCP (TP 738). It also works on the Taurus TCP with an extended magazine. To go from one to the other takes a little adjustment but it’s quick and easy.
