  1. A BIG ZERO star.. If you have to call , have a full battery on your phone, 4 to 5 hours to waste, and have every piece of information in front of you—they don’t like to wait a second for you to check your birth hour and minute .Or if you are like me , you can drive the 56 miles to the office to be told that you should have phoned your question in. BY the way, my phone was still on hold from them after the hour drive ,after the hour in line wait. GREAT WORK …

  2. If it were possible to give NO stars ,I would.Carol is right . Incompetency abounds at I.D.E.S. When I was laid off in 2009 I.D.E.S. said iI was entitled to a certain amount in benefits. FIVE MONTHS (FIVE MONTHS!!!!) later I get a phone call telling me that I was being OVERPAID due to an “error” by one of their poor excuses for affirmative action “‘you gotz to go onlines we aint not able to helps peeples wit dat stuff heres” is pretty much the treatment I got also. I wound up OWING these MORONS over $1200.00 because of THEIR screw up! If I made that kind of mistake on MY job I would have been fired. While applying AGAIN this year I mentioned this to the condescending “public servant” at the Lawrence Ave. office. His reply was “Those things happen sometimes” THEY SHOULDN’T HAPPEN AT ALL!!!! Now I’m being given the royal run around because my former employer tried to cirstuffvent her legal responsibilities by illegally paying us 1099 instead of W2 !!! Now I’m going thriugh the bureaucratic mess again. However I have had better results with their 866-244-5631 number than the 773 number that they NEVER answer.
