5/17/2012 i found out that although i rang them to cancel my subscription, they had continued to take money from me for a year!!! when i finally realised, i contacted them to ask for my money back and was told that because i hadn’t cancelled my subscription properly, they wouldn’t refund. after i threatened them with the OFT, i finally got the name Alexander King. i sent him a recorded delivery letter and waited a month for a reply. i then sent an email to every possible email address for match i could think of and finally got a reply. they’re refunding me the £324 by way of a cheque. his email address is a.king@meetic-corp.com!! hope this helps!!! this is for the UK....

4/14/2012 They do NOT have email HELP, they do not answer their phone, and HALF the socalled profiles DO NOT EXIST, even though you just got a Wink from them... Are these SCAM FAKE PROFILES?

4/14/2012 Match.com is a fix, they have took money out of my account with out asking this week and left me short, i am trying to get a phone number to phone them and not getting any where what so ever. What a fix it is. I am going to report them to watch dog and trading standards

3/30/2012 I've paid for golden member(USD 77+ for 6 mths) a week ago but now i couldn't Login~! their "Customer Care" is not helping at all, just generate the same answer "step to check my OS window or firefox etc. These happens after i've accidently add my personal email onto profile but i may remove it, problem is... I CAN'T LOGIN~!! what can i do? The money i've paid just enjoy a week?? Match.com crew, pls look into it my id & get back to me. 3/24/2012 Yes match.com is unreal! They dont want you to meet anyone really, they want you to keep feeding them cash. Its an awful trick that when a paying member emails a non paying which is hard to tell who is paying and who isnt, the non paying cant reply back in any way and they wont even allow the non paying to view who sent them the email they hope for the non paying member to run for the credit card and pay to view the email and persons profile that sent the email. Tell me thats not all for money! It would and could be a nice site to join if they allowed non paying to reply to a paying members email, even if its a limited 5 emails . I had interest on one member on the site and emailed her not knowing she will never see who i am and read the email unless she grabs her credit card, but now im not a paying member being that i had a free 3 day trial when i wrote her. I hurry and cancelled account before the free trial ended happy i did before they ripped me for 3 months payment. Glad i did some research on who can and cant reply on the match site. Its misleading to all that joins and enters their lifes info and what they hope to connect with being match.com dont post it clear enough that you both have to be paying members to contact and if they did post that the way it should be they would lose many people to join the site . Hooking up with a partner from match.com is like playing the lottery whos a paying member and who isnt will they get my email or not and thats not a loyal respectful company . Im gonna spread the word to millions and see what can be done.

3/5/2012 I also paid the $120 for a six month subscription and found that my profile was arbitrarily deleted after about two months. I'm waiting to hear back from them but, judging by what I've seen here, I won't hold my breath. Meanwhile, I agree, I think the whole thing is basically a scam, and I rue the day I ever even heard of this fly-by-night virtual clip joint.
