5/22/2012 Thanks so much to those of you who provided the toll free numbers. Without a card, I did not know where to even begin. I called customer service at 800-942-0854 and confirmed the number for the provider to call 877-638-3379. Since id cards are not issued, this information made my experience a good one. Thanks again for the info.

5/16/2012 My son is a full time student in college, i have faxed his school schedule 4 times now for a claim DOS 2/17/12. They have still not updated his status nor paid his claim. HATE THIS COMPANY!!!

5/11/2012 I am a participating dentist in the Metlife Dental PPO network. Talking to a human being is not possible therefore it is impossible to resolve any problems or get any questions asked. Don't join this network if you are a dentist. They want total control and don't want to talk to you...ever!

5/10/2012 Yes extremely frustrating! After many attempts I actually go through to someone & they told me that their direct customer service # is 800-942-0854.

5/9/2012 this is horrible! i cannot reach a live person! I have 2 insurances and need to find out which is the primary. i feel like the ally bank commercial where there is a blender sitting on the counter in place of customer service! this is the worse insurance i have ever had to deal with! i would never recommend this insurance to anyone - ever!

4/16/2012 I've tried numerson times to speak to a person and I only got as far as a menu. After pushing different numbers on the promp I could listen to the latest claims that were paid out by date of service. I did much better with delta dental.

3/26/2012 I igree with all of you , i work for metlife and still current , but there is standars , please when you speak with someone , please ask for someone in the united states , why , becase either you calling to someone in vietnam , el salvador , or argentina and they dont have access to all sistems , also , insurances go to another country to pay less to a third world country becase is cheap , see the difference , i talked with someone in el salvador and they told me that they get paid 20 dollars a day or less depending on their metrics , but , an agent in the united sates get 24 or even 27 dollars a an hour working , see the big difference , so thats why dont blame the pleople you talinh to becase they are poor and they are working hard then the united states one , also blame the company that you work for , becase , what metlife does is to offer any benefits, the plan is made by the company and becase sometimes base on my experince, companys sometimes mess it up your plan just for purpose and then they jus apologise , see and please never get two insurances for dental , dont think that both will pay 50% and the other 50% , please ask for coordination because that ruins everything for insurance ,
MIKE
3/22/2012 NO PROBLEMS! If you call the 877-638-3379, the automated is much easier. I have never had an issue with this number. I always get what I want quickly and its very easy. Hopefully this helps all the frustrated people.
