purchased a Haier dehumidifier thru WALMART

I purchased a Haier dehumidifier thru WALMART 7-1-13 it worked ok for the first 10 mos. Six of the first 10 mos it was unplugged because of the winter season.

When I went to use it after winter it did not work, I contacted Haier customer service they sent me replacement since the warranty was still valid.

When I received the 2nd unit it did not work right out of the box. Again I contacted customer service ( located in the Philippines) They again sent me a 3rd unit. This replacement worked 2 mos and then it started to make such a loud noise when running in my basement that I had to turn off just to get some sleep because the noise was so bad. I contacted customer service again, they told me that since the warranty period was over they could not help.

I told them I only had the 3rd unit 2mos and they basically said I was SOL.

I bought my Haier refrigerator last year and had them come out 3 times to repair..they put all new parts in it right before the warranty ran out and doing the same crap it was doing….. short but sweet DO NOT BUY!!!!!! 🙂 🙂

I bought a Haier countertop ice maker and finally found Haier’s phone number 3 weeks ago they said they would send a questionnaire and then send a new one what a joke haven’t heard from them since I recommend you avoid buying Haier products.
