NBA League Pass customer service can help with subscriptions, recurring billing, cancellations, blackouts, NBA ID access, missing purchases and streaming problems. NBA Store orders, game tickets, individual team complaints and general league feedback use separate support routes.
NBA League Pass Customer Service Phone Number
The corporate phone and Fifth Avenue address are not the correct first routes for a League Pass cancellation, billing dispute, blackout, app problem or NBA Store order. Start with the support department connected with the service involved.
Best NBA Support Route by Issue
- League Pass subscription billed by NBA.com: Sign in to the NBA account and use Manage Plan.
- Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or Samsung billing: Manage the subscription through that platform.
- Cable, satellite or streaming-TV provider: Contact the provider that sold the League Pass package.
- Blackout or incorrect location: Review the blackout page and confirm ZIP code, IP address and location permissions.
- NBA ID login problem: Reset the password or submit a support request.
- Paid subscription not appearing: Check the billing provider and sync or relink the subscription to the correct NBA ID.
- Streaming or app problem: Restart the app, device and network before contacting League Pass support.
- NBA Store order: Contact NBA Store Fan Services rather than League Pass support.
- Game ticket problem: Contact the team, arena, Ticketmaster or ticket seller shown on the order.
- Team, arena or in-game experience: Contact the applicable NBA team or venue.
- General NBA comment: Use the NBA Contact Us Center.

What NBA League Pass Includes
NBA League Pass is primarily intended for watching out-of-market NBA games live and on demand. Available features can depend on the subscription, location and device.
Possible League Pass options include:
- League Pass
- League Pass Premium
- Team Pass
- Single Game purchases when offered
- NBA TV
- Student and other qualifying promotional plans
- Subscriptions sold through television providers or international partners
League Pass does not guarantee live access to every NBA game. Local and national broadcast restrictions may apply.
How to Cancel NBA League Pass on NBA.com
- Go to NBA.com.
- Sign in with the NBA ID used to purchase League Pass.
- Open the My Account menu.
- Select Manage Plan next to the subscription.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Continue through the cancellation questions.
- Confirm the cancellation.
- Save the confirmation email.
The subscription normally remains available until the end of the current paid period. Cancelling prevents the next renewal; it does not normally provide a prorated refund for time remaining in the current billing period.
Canceling League Pass Through Apple
An NBA subscription purchased through an iPhone, iPad or Apple account must be cancelled through Apple:
- Open Settings or the App Store.
- Select the Apple account profile.
- Open Subscriptions.
- Select NBA.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Keep the Apple confirmation.
Deleting the NBA app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Canceling League Pass Through Google Play
- Open Google Play subscriptions.
- Sign in to the Google account that made the purchase.
- Select NBA League Pass.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Follow the confirmation steps.
NBA support cannot directly cancel a subscription billed to a different Google account.
Canceling League Pass Through Roku
Roku subscribers can manage League Pass through the Roku account website or the Roku device.
From the Roku website:
- Sign in at Roku.com.
- Open Manage Subscriptions.
- Locate the NBA subscription.
- Select Unsubscribe.
From a Roku device, highlight the NBA app, press the star button, select Manage Subscription and choose Cancel Subscription.
Canceling Through Amazon or Samsung
Amazon Fire TV purchases must be managed through Amazon’s app-subscription settings. Samsung-billed subscriptions must be managed through the Samsung account, purchase history or subscription settings.
Check the payment statement or original receipt when it is unclear which company controls the subscription.
NBA League Pass Automatic Renewal
League Pass subscriptions normally renew automatically unless cancellation is completed before the next billing cycle.
- Monthly subscriptions: Generally renew every 30 days.
- Season-long subscriptions: Generally renew at the full-season price before the next NBA season.
- App-store subscriptions: Follow the renewal terms shown by the app store.
- TV-provider subscriptions: Follow the television provider’s billing terms.
Save the cancellation confirmation and check the account after cancelling. Do not rely solely on deleting the app, removing a device or stopping use of the service.
NBA League Pass Refund Policy
The current U.S. NBA Subscriber Agreement says direct NBA League Pass and NBA TV subscription sales are final. It states that the NBA does not provide full or partial refunds for the current subscription period.
Customers can still contact support when a transaction involves:
- A duplicate subscription
- An unauthorized charge
- A documented billing error
- A cancellation that did not process
- A subscription that cannot be located
- A technical problem preventing access
Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, Samsung and television providers apply their own refund rules to purchases they process.
Contact the NBA or billing provider before initiating a chargeback for a recognized subscription. A payment dispute may affect subscription or account access while the transaction is investigated.
NBA League Pass Blackouts
NBA League Pass is designed mainly for out-of-market viewing. In the United States, live blackouts may include:
- The customer’s local NBA team or teams
- Nationally televised games
- NBA Cup semifinal and final games
- NBA All-Star Weekend
- NBA playoff games
Blackouts depend on the viewer’s current location and broadcast rights. The NBA may use the IP address, location services and ZIP code to determine which teams or games are restricted.
When Do Blacked-Out Games Become Available?
- Locally televised U.S. games: Generally become available on demand three days after the live broadcast ends.
- Nationally televised U.S. games: Generally become available on demand at 6 a.m. Eastern Time the following day.
- Canada and other countries: Different restrictions and replay windows may apply.
Review the current blackout rules before purchasing League Pass primarily to watch a local team.
Why Are Lakers or Other Local Games Blacked Out?
A fan who lives in a team’s local broadcast territory may be unable to watch that team live through ordinary League Pass because the local broadcaster owns the live rights.
For example, a customer in the Los Angeles Lakers’ television market may need the applicable regional or national broadcaster rather than standard League Pass for the live game.
A Team Pass subscription does not automatically remove local blackouts. Some markets may offer separate local-access products, but availability varies.
Incorrect Blackout or Location Problems
If League Pass appears to detect the wrong location:
- Turn off a VPN or proxy.
- Allow location access for the NBA app or browser.
- Confirm the device date, time and region.
- Restart the app and device.
- Restart the modem and router.
- Try a home network instead of a workplace, campus or mobile hotspot.
- Record the public IP address if NBA support requests it.
- Contact League Pass support with the city, state, ZIP code and affected game.
Customer support generally cannot override a valid broadcast-rights blackout.
NBA ID Login and Password Help
An NBA ID is used to access subscriptions, saved teams, app features and other NBA services.
For a forgotten password:
- Open NBA.com or the NBA app.
- Select Sign In.
- Select Forgot Password.
- Enter the email address connected with the NBA ID.
- Check the inbox and spam folder for the reset message.
- Create a new password and sign in again.
If the account email is unknown, use live chat or submit a support request. NBA support may ask for possible email addresses, the billing address and the last four digits of the payment method to locate the account.
Paid League Pass Subscription Is Missing
If payment was completed but the subscription does not appear:
- Confirm which company processed the charge.
- Sign in to the NBA ID used at purchase.
- Review My Account and Subscriptions.
- Check Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, Samsung or TV-provider subscriptions.
- Use the NBA app’s restore, sync or provider-linking option when available.
- Keep the purchase receipt or confirmation.
- Submit a support request if access remains missing.
A subscription purchased through one NBA ID may not appear under another NBA ID.
TV-Provider and Amazon Prime Access
Customers who purchase NBA League Pass or NBA TV through a participating television provider can link the provider account through NBA.com or the NBA app.
Amazon Prime subscribers may also be able to link a qualifying Prime Video League Pass purchase to an NBA ID. Subscription changes, cancellation and billing normally remain controlled by Amazon when Amazon processed the purchase.
Keep proof of purchase when a provider subscription does not appear after linking.
NBA League Pass Streaming Troubleshooting
For buffering, freezing, poor video quality, missing sound, a black screen or app crashes:
- Close and reopen the NBA app.
- Restart the phone, television, computer or streaming device.
- Restart the modem and router.
- Update the NBA app.
- Install device-system or firmware updates.
- Test another game or video.
- Try another supported device.
- Disable a VPN or proxy.
- Use a wired connection when available.
- Record the error message before contacting support.
When submitting a technical-support request, include the device, operating system, browser, app version, internet provider, connection type, physical location and applicable error message.
Unauthorized or Duplicate NBA Charges
Before reporting an unfamiliar NBA charge, review:
- NBA.com subscriptions
- Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon and Samsung accounts
- TV-provider League Pass packages
- Monthly and season-long renewals
- NBA Store purchases
- NBA ticket purchases
- Purchases made by another household member
Contact the company shown on the statement when the billing provider is known. Secure the NBA ID and connected email account if the purchase appears unauthorized.
NBA Store Customer Service
NBA Store orders are handled separately from NBA League Pass subscriptions.
NBAStore.com is operated by Fanatics on behalf of NBA entities. League Pass support cannot ordinarily locate merchandise, process a store return or replace a jersey.
NBA Tickets and Team Complaints
Game tickets, arena access, postponed events, seat concerns and in-game experiences should normally be handled through:
- The applicable NBA team
- The arena or venue
- Ticketmaster or the authorized ticket seller
- The seller shown on the receipt
NBA League Pass support cannot refund a game ticket or resolve a team-operated arena complaint.
NBA League Pass Reviews and Complaints
CustomerServiceNumbers.com currently shows one visible NBA League Pass review with an overall rating of 1.0 out of 5.
The October 2018 reviewer reported subscribing and then being unable to watch a Lakers–Warriors game because of a blackout. The reviewer requested cancellation.
This single older review is not enough to establish current NBA support trends, but it highlights the importance of checking local-team and national-game blackout rules before purchasing League Pass.
