If you need help with a PUMA order, return, refund, missing package, defective product or gift card, first identify where the item was purchased and who processed the payment. PUMA.com orders, PUMA store purchases, independent retailer purchases and Klarna or Afterpay accounts do not all use the same support process.

Information to Gather Before Contacting PUMA
- The order number
- The email address used for the order
- The product name, style number, size and color
- The purchase and delivery dates
- The original seller or store location
- The payment method
- The carrier and tracking number
- Photographs of damaged packaging, an incorrect item or an alleged defect
- The return authorization and drop-off receipt
- Any Klarna, Afterpay or PayPal transaction reference
- An earlier PUMA case number or support response
Provide private information only through an official PUMA, retailer, payment-provider or carrier channel. Do not publish order, payment, account, tracking or gift-card information in a public review.
PUMA Order Changes and Cancellations
PUMA states that an order cannot be changed or canceled after it has been placed because it is sent to the warehouse for processing.
If the order is no longer wanted, the customer must generally wait for delivery and return the item under the applicable return policy. Return eligibility is not guaranteed for customized products, bodywear, gift cards, final-sale merchandise or products with special launch rules.
Before submitting an order, confirm:
- The product and size
- The shipping address
- The billing information
- The promotional code
- The gift-card amount
- The selected payment or installment method
PUMA Return Policy for Online Orders
PUMA generally accepts eligible PUMA.com returns within 45 days of purchase. Products must ordinarily be in original, unused condition and meet the current policy requirements.
Free online returns are available only for qualifying orders placed through the official PUMA website. Start the return through PUMA’s official returns portal and use the label or instructions generated for that order.
- Open PUMA’s Returns and Exchanges page.
- Enter the order number and email address used for the purchase.
- Select the correct item and return reason.
- Print or obtain the authorized return label.
- Package the product according to the instructions.
- Keep the carrier receipt and tracking number.
- Monitor the return until PUMA confirms processing.
Do not mail merchandise to PUMA’s Somerville headquarters. Use only the address and carrier instructions generated through the current returns process.
PUMA Return Exceptions
PUMA’s current policy excludes the following categories from ordinary returns:
- PUMA Gift Cards
- Customized products
- Bodywear, including face masks
- Products identified as final sale
Customized merchandise may still be reviewed when there is an alleged manufacturing or material defect. Contact customer service rather than sending the item without authorization.
Certain launches and PUMA.com exclusives can have a shorter return period. PUMA currently identifies some limited collections, including specified LaMelo Ball and FENTY x PUMA footwear, as subject to a 15-day window. Check the product page and purchase confirmation rather than assuming the standard 45-day period applies.
Does PUMA Offer Exchanges?
PUMA does not currently provide direct exchanges. To obtain a different size or color, return the eligible original item and place a new order.
PUMA states that it provides a prepaid return label and free standard shipping on the replacement order when customer service assists with the new size or color. Product availability and pricing are not guaranteed while the original item is in transit.
Returning a PUMA.com Order to a Store
Some items purchased through PUMA.com may be returned to a PUMA retail store. Bring:
- The product
- The original payment method
- A physical or digital copy of the order-confirmation email
Credit-card purchases are generally credited to the original card. If the online purchase was paid using a PUMA Gift Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal and is returned in a store, PUMA states that the refund will be issued as a PUMA Gift Card.
Some online returns cannot be fully processed in a store. Store staff may instead help initiate the online return and ship it to the processing facility. The normal transit and processing periods will then apply.
PUMA Refund Timing
PUMA says an online return can take one to two weeks to process, depending on when the return is received. The bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.
For a delayed refund, keep:
- The PUMA order number
- The return confirmation
- The carrier tracking number
- The drop-off receipt
- The date the return was delivered
- The original payment method
A carrier delivery scan does not guarantee that the return has completed inspection or refund processing. Do not initiate a payment dispute solely because the credit has not appeared immediately after delivery.
PUMA Shipping and Delivery Claims
Use PUMA’s official shipping-claim process when:
- A package is marked delivered but cannot be located
- A package arrives damaged
- Tracking has not updated for 10 business days
The claim portal requests the order information, affected items and shipment details. Damaged-package claims require photographs. Save the email confirmation after the claim is submitted.
Before filing a missing-package claim, check:
- The delivery address
- Front, side and rear entrances
- Parcel lockers or mailrooms
- Building management or front-desk staff
- Household members and neighbors
- The carrier’s delivery photograph or notes
Submitting a claim does not guarantee a refund or replacement. PUMA and its shipping provider may review tracking, delivery evidence and the customer’s documentation.
Damaged or Defective PUMA Products
If a PUMA product appears defective, contact customer service at 1-888-565-7862 or customerservice.us@puma.com.
Have the following available:
- Proof of purchase
- The purchase date
- The original seller
- The product style information
- Photographs showing the claimed problem
- A description of how the product was used and cared for
PUMA does not publish one universal U.S. warranty period for every shoe, garment and accessory. Eligibility can depend on the product, seller, condition, purchase date and nature of the problem.
A manufacturer defect is different from ordinary wear, accidental damage, incorrect sizing, misuse or damage caused by cleaning methods. Contact PUMA before discarding or shipping the product.
PUMA 30-Day Test Run
PUMA advertises a 30-Day Test Run for selected running shoes. The test period begins when the qualifying shoes are received and allows the customer to try them during runs, walks or gym sessions.
This program does not create a universal 30-day used-product return policy for all PUMA footwear. Confirm that the specific running-shoe model is included and follow the program instructions supplied with the order.
PUMA Purchases From Other Retailers
Products bearing the PUMA name are also sold by sporting-goods stores, shoe stores, department stores and online marketplaces. These businesses are separate sellers.
If another retailer accepted the payment, begin with that retailer for:
- Returns and exchanges
- Price adjustments
- Missing retailer shipments
- Store employee complaints
- Marketplace seller disputes
- Refund timing controlled by the retailer
Do not assume that PUMA.com’s 45-day return period applies to an independent retailer. The retailer’s receipt and policy normally control the sales transaction.
If the retailer believes the item has a manufacturing defect, ask whether it will handle the claim or whether PUMA customer service should review it.
PUMA Payment Methods and Authorization Holds
PUMA currently accepts major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Afterpay, Klarna and PUMA Gift Cards.
For card orders, PUMA requests preauthorization for the order amount and states that the completed charge occurs after shipment. A pending authorization and a later completed charge are not necessarily duplicate charges.
For a suspected duplicate or incorrect charge:
- Compare the pending and completed transaction dates.
- Check whether the order shipped in multiple packages.
- Review the PUMA order total and confirmation.
- Contact PUMA for the order and charge status.
- Contact the card issuer if a charge remains unexplained.
Klarna and Afterpay Purchases
Klarna and Afterpay are separate payment providers. PUMA handles the merchandise, shipping eligibility and return acceptance, while the payment provider controls the installment account and payment schedule.
Afterpay states that it will adjust the customer’s installment plan after PUMA processes an eligible return. Depending on the transaction, the customer may see canceled future installments, multiple smaller refunds or a remaining balance after a partial return.
Do not send merchandise to Afterpay or Klarna. Return the product through PUMA’s process and monitor the payment-provider account until the refund adjustment is complete.
Continue making required payments unless the payment provider confirms that the schedule has changed. A pending return does not automatically suspend every installment.
PUMA Gift Cards
PUMA Gift Cards and merchandise cards are governed by separate PUMA Card terms.
- PUMA Cards do not expire or decrease in value.
- Gift cards cannot be returned or canceled after purchase.
- They generally cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
- They cannot be used to purchase another PUMA Gift Card.
- PUMA says lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
- A return paid entirely by PUMA Card is refunded to a new PUMA Card.
Treat the card number and PIN like cash. Do not post them in a review or provide them to an unexpected caller, text sender or social-media account.
PUMA Account and Login Help
For an account problem, confirm that you are using the correct email address and official U.S. PUMA website. Use the password-reset process before creating another account.
A duplicate account may divide order history, saved information and promotional benefits. When contacting support, provide the email addresses privately and ask which account is connected to the order.
Never provide a password or verification code in a public comment. PUMA’s customer-service request form does not require customers to publish account credentials.
PUMA Scam and Impersonation Warning
- Use telephone numbers and links obtained directly from the official PUMA website.
- Do not rely only on caller ID because telephone numbers can be spoofed.
- Do not provide an account password or one-time security code to an unexpected caller.
- Do not disclose a full payment-card number or gift-card PIN through social media.
- Do not install remote-access software for someone claiming to process a refund.
- Be cautious of websites using misspelled PUMA domains or offering unrealistic discounts.
- Do not pay a return, refund or warranty fee using gift cards or cryptocurrency.
For an unfamiliar charge, open PUMA.com directly and review the order history. Contact the card issuer promptly if no authorized PUMA, retailer, Klarna or Afterpay transaction explains it.
How to Escalate a PUMA Complaint
- Identify whether the issue involves PUMA.com, a PUMA store, an independent retailer, a carrier or a payment provider.
- Contact PUMA at 1-888-565-7862, by email or through the official request form.
- Provide the order number and requested resolution privately.
- Ask for a case or reference number.
- Save emails, chat messages, photographs and return or delivery records.
- For a store issue, ask for the store manager.
- For an independent retailer purchase, use that retailer’s escalation process.
- For an installment-account issue, contact Klarna or Afterpay.
- For an unresolved unauthorized charge, contact the financial institution.
- For an unresolved consumer transaction, contact the appropriate state consumer-protection agency.
Escalation does not guarantee a cancellation, refund, replacement, warranty approval, shipping claim or payment adjustment.

The U.S. operating company is PUMA North America, Inc. Its current North American headquarters is:
PUMA North America, Inc.
455 Grand Union Boulevard
Somerville, MA 02145
PUMA moved its North American headquarters to Somerville after consolidating its former Boston and Westford offices. The address at 10 Lyberty Way in Westford found in older directories should not be presented as PUMA’s current headquarters.
The Somerville address is a corporate office. It is not identified as a customer return warehouse, public refund counter, product repair center or guaranteed walk-in complaint office. Do not mail merchandise, payments, gift cards or original documents there unless PUMA provides specific instructions.
PUMA North America is part of the PUMA Group. The global listed company is PUMA SE, headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Arthur Hoeld is CEO of PUMA SE, and Tara McRae is president of PUMA North America.
PUMA SE is publicly traded. ANTA Sports announced an agreement to acquire approximately 29% of PUMA from Groupe Artémis, but the transaction was announced as subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. ANTA should not be described as PUMA’s parent company unless the ownership transaction is officially completed and the relationship changes.
