How to Contact Lincoln Customer Service

Lincoln Roadside Assistance and Lincoln Collision Assistance are also available around the clock. Lincoln Automotive Financial Services, individual retailers, service departments, Lincoln Protect, rewards support, and other specialized teams have separate operating hours.

Lincoln does not publish one universal customer-service email address. Use the Client Relationship Center, Lincoln support site, live chat, Lincoln app, social-assistance channels, authorized retailer, or postal address for non-emergency follow-up.

Lincoln Customer Service Mailing Address

Use the address or submission method specified in a warranty guide, finance statement, Lincoln Protect contract, recall notice, arbitration instructions, or legal document for payments, claims, formal notices, and time-sensitive correspondence.

What to Have Ready Before Contacting Lincoln

  • Vehicle identification number, or VIN
  • Lincoln model, model year, trim, engine, and mileage
  • Purchase or lease date
  • Selling and servicing Lincoln retailer
  • Repair-order and invoice numbers
  • Dates and mileage for each repair attempt
  • Diagnostic codes, dashboard warnings, photographs, videos, or app screenshots
  • Warranty, recall, Lincoln Protect, roadside, collision, or Lincoln case number
  • Lincoln app account email when applicable
  • Finance-account number when contacting Lincoln Automotive Financial Services
  • A concise timeline of the issue
  • The specific resolution being requested

Provide the complete VIN only through a secure official Lincoln, Ford, retailer, finance, insurer, roadside, arbitration, or government channel. Do not publish it in a public review.

How to File a Lincoln Complaint

Step 1: Contact the Department Closest to the Problem

  • Contact the sales manager for a purchase, trade-in, pricing, deposit, delivery, or advertising complaint.
  • Contact the finance manager for retailer-arranged financing, optional products, or sales-contract questions.
  • Contact the service manager for diagnosis, repairs, maintenance, recall, or warranty concerns.
  • Contact the parts manager for an incorrect, damaged, unavailable, or backordered part.
  • Contact the retailer general manager when the department manager cannot resolve the issue.

Step 2: Open a Lincoln Client Relationship Center Case

Call 1-800-521-4140 and ask that a formal Lincoln case be opened.

Provide:

  • The VIN and current mileage
  • The retailer’s complete name and location
  • Purchase, service, and repair dates
  • Repair orders, invoices, estimates, photographs, and warranty documents
  • A factual timeline of previous contacts
  • The resolution requested

Record the Lincoln case number, representative information, expected follow-up date, and documents requested.

Step 3: Request Further Review

If the initial response does not resolve the documented concern, ask whether the case can be reviewed by an appropriate supervisor, customer-experience manager, technical specialist, warranty team, regional representative, or retailer-support group.

Ask for important warranty, reimbursement, goodwill, rental, repair, or parts decisions in writing whenever possible.

Step 4: Review BBB AUTO LINE

Lincoln participates nationally in BBB AUTO LINE for potentially eligible vehicle-warranty and lemon-law disputes.

Eligibility depends on the vehicle, warranty, issue, ownership, mileage, state, repair history, and filing deadline. Starting a claim does not guarantee repair, replacement, repurchase, reimbursement, arbitration, or another remedy.

How to Complain About a Lincoln Retailer

Authorized Lincoln retailers generally handle:

  • New and used vehicle sales
  • Trade-ins, deposits, pricing, and delivery
  • Retailer financing paperwork
  • Vehicle diagnosis and repairs
  • Warranty submissions
  • Recall repairs
  • Parts orders
  • Pickup & Delivery scheduling
  • Mobile Service
  • Loaner or rental arrangements
  • Certified Pre-Owned inspections and sales
  • Retailer-specific fees and communication

For an unresolved retailer concern:

  1. Ask for the manager of the department involved.
  2. Request the retailer’s diagnosis, order status, or decision in writing.
  3. Keep every purchase document, repair order, estimate, invoice, advertisement, and message.
  4. Contact the retailer general manager if the department manager cannot resolve the concern.
  5. Call Lincoln and request a national case number.
  6. Provide the retailer name, dates, mileage, supporting documents, and requested resolution.

Lincoln may document a complaint, review warranty information, contact the retailer, or provide escalation support, but the manufacturer does not directly control every decision made by an independently operated retailer.

Lincoln New Vehicle Warranty Coverage

Lincoln’s general new-vehicle warranty periods currently include:

  • Bumper-to-bumper coverage: Four years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first
  • Powertrain coverage: Six years or 70,000 miles, whichever occurs first
  • Safety-restraint coverage: Five years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first
  • Corrosion perforation coverage: Five years with unlimited mileage
  • Covered hybrid-electric components: Eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first

The warranty guide supplied with the specific vehicle controls. Coverage can vary by model year, component, state, emissions classification, original warranty start date, mileage, ownership history, and vehicle use.

What a Lincoln Warranty May Not Cover

  • Routine maintenance
  • Normal wear
  • Tires covered by their manufacturer
  • Collision or environmental damage
  • Improper maintenance
  • Improper or unauthorized repairs
  • Vehicle abuse, misuse, racing, or overloading
  • Unauthorized modifications or tuning
  • Incorrect fuel or contaminated fluids
  • Repairs after the applicable coverage period

Ask the retailer to identify the diagnosis and exact warranty provision supporting an approval or denial.

Repeated Lincoln Repairs and Warranty Disputes

When a vehicle problem continues after one or more repair attempts:

  1. Return to an authorized Lincoln retailer when the vehicle can be operated safely.
  2. Make sure every symptom is recorded accurately on the repair order.
  3. Keep repair orders even when the retailer cannot reproduce the problem.
  4. Record the dates, mileage, warning messages, and days out of service.
  5. Save photographs, videos, diagnostic reports, and communications.
  6. Ask the service manager for the diagnosis and next repair plan.
  7. Open or update a Lincoln Client Relationship Center case.
  8. Ask whether a technical or regional review is available.
  9. Request the warranty decision in writing.
  10. Review BBB AUTO LINE and applicable state consumer remedies if the concern remains unresolved.

Lemon-law and warranty-dispute requirements vary by state. CustomerServiceNumbers.com cannot determine whether a vehicle qualifies for replacement, repurchase, arbitration, reimbursement, damages, or another legal remedy.

Lincoln Recall and Safety Help

Use Lincoln’s official recall tool and enter the complete VIN.

Check a Lincoln for recalls and field service actions.

Recall repairs specifically identified in an active recall are completed without charge through an authorized retailer.

Problems Scheduling a Lincoln Recall

  • Confirm that the VIN shows an open recall.
  • Ask whether the required part or software is available.
  • Ask whether another authorized Lincoln retailer can complete the repair sooner.
  • Ask whether an interim safety instruction or do-not-drive notice applies.
  • Ask whether Pickup & Delivery, Mobile Service, towing, or another accommodation is available.
  • Keep the recall notice and appointment records.
  • Open a Lincoln case if the delay remains unresolved.

Reporting a Suspected Safety Defect

Contact Lincoln and consider filing a report with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration when a problem may affect vehicle safety.

Stop driving and contact emergency or roadside services when the vehicle appears unsafe to operate.

Lincoln Roadside Assistance

Call 1-800-521-4140 or use the Lincoln app to request Roadside Assistance.

Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.

Who Qualifies for Lincoln Roadside Assistance?

Original owners of qualifying 2013-and-newer Lincoln vehicles currently receive Roadside Assistance for the lifetime of their ownership experience. This original-owner benefit is nontransferable.

A Lincoln purchased used may remain eligible when it is within six years or 70,000 miles of the original warranty start date. Lincoln vehicles from model year 2012 or earlier are no longer included under the published program.

A vehicle outside the included period may still be connected with an independent service provider, but the customer will normally be charged.

Lincoln Roadside Services

  • Towing to an authorized Lincoln retailer within the program limit
  • Battery jump-start assistance
  • Installation of a usable spare tire
  • Emergency gasoline delivery
  • Vehicle lockout assistance
  • Limited winch-out service

Lincoln Towing Limits

An eligible 2013-or-newer vehicle may be towed to a preferred authorized Lincoln retailer within 100 miles of the disablement location or to the nearest authorized retailer.

Confirm the destination and any customer-paid mileage before the tow begins. A roadside tow does not guarantee immediate diagnosis, same-day repair, warranty approval, a loaner vehicle, or parts availability.

Lincoln Fuel Delivery

Lincoln may deliver up to two gallons of gasoline. Complimentary fuel delivery is limited to two occurrences during a 12-month period.

Emergency fuel delivery is intended to help the driver reach a fuel station rather than provide a full tank.

Lincoln Flat-Tire Assistance

The vehicle must generally have a usable spare tire, except for vehicles supplied with an applicable tire-inflation kit.

Roadside Assistance does not automatically pay for a replacement tire, wheel, permanent tire repair, or road-hazard damage.

Lincoln Lockout Assistance

Lincoln may dispatch assistance to unlock the vehicle. Replacement keys, replacement key fobs, cutting, programming, and damaged-lock repairs remain the customer’s responsibility unless another plan applies.

Call emergency services immediately when a child, vulnerable person, or animal is locked inside and faces danger.

Lincoln Winch-Out Service

Winch-out service is limited to a vehicle within 100 feet of a paved or county-maintained road. Full recovery, off-road extraction, deep mud, flooding, snow recovery, difficult terrain, or specialized equipment may not be covered.

Lincoln Tow Reimbursement

A customer who paid for a tow without knowing eligible Lincoln Roadside Assistance applied may be considered for reimbursement up to $100.

Call 1-800-521-4140 or contact the preferred Lincoln retailer for current claim instructions. Keep the original itemized towing receipt, proof of payment, VIN, mileage, pickup location, destination, and explanation of why official dispatch was not used.

Reimbursement is not automatic.

What to Do If Roadside Assistance Does Not Arrive

  1. Call 1-800-521-4140 again.
  2. Provide the existing roadside case number.
  3. Ask whether the assigned provider accepted the request.
  4. Confirm the callback number and location supplied to the provider.
  5. Request the provider’s name and updated estimated arrival time.
  6. Ask for reassignment when the provider cannot respond.
  7. Tell the advisor again if the vehicle is in an unsafe location.
  8. Keep call times, messages, receipts, photographs, and towing records.

Call police, highway patrol, or emergency services when the vehicle creates a traffic hazard or occupants cannot remain safely at the location.

Lincoln Collision Assistance

Call 1-800-327-8281 for Lincoln Collision Assistance, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Collision Assistance may help with:

  • Post-accident guidance
  • Locating an appropriate collision-repair facility
  • Accident documentation
  • Transportation assistance
  • Towing coordination

Call 911 first when anyone is injured, the scene is unsafe, the vehicle is on fire, or traffic is obstructed. Contact the automobile insurer when the incident may involve an insurance claim.

Do not assume that Lincoln’s vehicle warranty or Roadside Assistance pays for collision repairs, insurance deductibles, impound charges, storage, rental transportation, property damage, or every accident-related tow.

Lincoln Pickup & Delivery and Mobile Service

Complimentary Lincoln Pickup & Delivery is generally available for eligible vehicles within the four-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty, subject to program terms and retailer participation.

The retailer may arrange to:

  • Pick up the Lincoln
  • Transport it to the service department
  • Perform eligible maintenance or repairs
  • Return the vehicle after service
  • Provide a temporary Lincoln vehicle when the program and availability allow

Lincoln Mobile Service may also allow a retailer technician to perform certain maintenance, recall, diagnostic, software, battery, or minor repair services at the customer’s home or workplace.

Pickup & Delivery, Mobile Service, loaner availability, geographic limits, scheduling, insurance requirements, and services performed vary by retailer and vehicle.

Lincoln App and Connected-Service Support

Call 1-844-324-2330 for Lincoln app support or select the Help option inside the app.

Depending on the vehicle, equipment, account, cellular service, trial, and subscription, the Lincoln app may provide:

  • Remote start
  • Remote lock and unlock
  • Vehicle location
  • Vehicle health information
  • Roadside Assistance requests
  • Service scheduling
  • Lincoln Access Rewards information
  • Charging information for compatible vehicles

Before contacting support, record:

  • The account email
  • The VIN
  • The vehicle model and year
  • The app and mobile operating-system versions
  • The exact error message
  • The feature that is unavailable
  • Whether the vehicle was recently purchased, sold, or transferred

Do not publish account passwords, verification codes, Phone As A Key details, or precise vehicle-location information in a public review.

Lincoln Access Rewards

Call 1-833-385-0520 for Lincoln Access Rewards questions involving:

  • Missing points
  • Point balances
  • Reward redemption
  • Member status
  • Eligible maintenance benefits
  • Account access

Keep the member email, VIN, retailer, service invoice, purchase date, redemption confirmation, and screenshots available.

Lincoln Security Package and Stolen-Vehicle Help

If a vehicle is stolen:

  1. Contact police immediately.
  2. Obtain a police-report or incident number.
  3. Contact Lincoln through the app or stolen-vehicle number.
  4. Allow Lincoln and law enforcement to coordinate available location or recovery information.

Do not attempt to locate or recover a stolen vehicle personally.

Security features depend on compatible vehicle equipment, enrollment, account status, cellular service, active plan, and geographic availability. They cannot prevent every theft or guarantee recovery.

Lincoln Automotive Financial Services

  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Central Time
  • Saturday: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Central Time

  • Automatic payments
  • Online account access
  • Statements and payment history
  • Payoff quotes
  • Titles and lien releases
  • Lease maturity
  • Vehicle return
  • Excess mileage or wear charges
  • Payment assistance

Lincoln Financing Versus Vehicle Customer Service

Lincoln Automotive Financial Services generally does not decide vehicle warranty claims, retailer service complaints, recalls, Roadside Assistance cases, or mechanical diagnoses.

The Lincoln Client Relationship Center generally does not control payment posting, account balances, payoff amounts, credit reporting, title release, or lease-end billing.

Important: Lincoln Automotive Financial Services is an automobile-financing service connected with Ford Motor Credit. It is not Lincoln Financial Group, the unrelated insurance, annuity, and retirement-services company.

Lincoln Protect Extended Service Plans

Lincoln Protect is an optional service contract rather than the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Depending on the selected plan, Lincoln Protect may provide:

  • Coverage for eligible mechanical repairs
  • Coverage for thousands of listed components
  • Plan terms extending as long as ten years or 175,000 miles
  • Rental-vehicle benefits
  • Roadside Assistance
  • Towing assistance
  • Travel-expense benefits
  • Optional key, tire, dent, windshield, and maintenance products

Lincoln Protect sales information: 1-800-527-9183

Coverage, deductible, start date, expiration, prior authorization, transferability, cancellation, exclusions, state availability, and claim procedures depend on the signed contract.

Contact the retailer or plan administrator before authorizing repairs when prior approval is required.

Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned Coverage

Lincoln currently offers more than one Certified Pre-Owned tier. Inspection requirements, vehicle eligibility, warranty coverage, deductibles, and benefits differ by certification.

Lincoln Certified vehicles may include:

  • Comprehensive warranty protection extending to six years or 100,000 miles from the original warranty start date
  • A detailed multipoint inspection
  • Roadside Assistance
  • Vehicle-history review
  • Available extended-service and maintenance plans

Lincoln Select vehicles use different age, mileage, inspection, and limited-warranty terms.

Before purchasing, confirm:

  • The certification tier
  • The original warranty start date
  • The current mileage
  • The remaining warranty period
  • Covered components
  • Deductible
  • Roadside Assistance
  • Transferability
  • Return or money-back conditions

The certificate and purchase documents control.

Lincoln Replacement Keys and Valet Keys

For a missing, damaged, or unprogrammed Lincoln key:

  • Contact an authorized Lincoln retailer’s parts department.
  • Ask whether the key blank and programming equipment are still available for the model year.
  • Contact a qualified automotive locksmith experienced with transponder and proximity keys.
  • Have the VIN and proof of vehicle ownership ready.
  • Ask for the key, cutting, programming, and service costs before ordering.

Older models, including discontinued Town Car, Continental, MKZ, MKS, and other legacy vehicles, may require a special key blank, programming procedure, or replacement module.

Do not publish a key code, VIN, ownership document, or security information in a public review.

Lincoln Parts Backorders and Repair Delays

For an unavailable part or delayed repair:

  1. Ask the retailer for the exact part name and number.
  2. Ask whether the part has been ordered.
  3. Ask whether it is nationally backordered or unavailable only at that retailer.
  4. Ask whether another authorized Lincoln or Ford retailer has inventory.
  5. Request an updated estimated arrival date without treating it as guaranteed.
  6. Ask whether the vehicle is safe to drive.
  7. Ask whether Pickup & Delivery, Mobile Service, loaner, rental, or warranty transportation applies.
  8. Keep every repair order and communication.
  9. Open a Lincoln case if the delay remains unresolved.

Lincoln may document and review a delay, but parts production, distribution, shipping, retailer scheduling, diagnosis, and warranty authorization may involve separate organizations.

Lincoln Customer Service Scam Warning

Fraudsters may impersonate Lincoln, Ford Motor Company, a Lincoln retailer, Lincoln Automotive Financial Services, Lincoln Protect, a recall department, connected-services support, or a Roadside Assistance provider.

  • Do not provide passwords or one-time verification codes to an unsolicited caller.
  • Do not pay using gift cards or cryptocurrency.
  • Do not give an unsolicited caller remote access to a telephone or computer.

Lincoln Customer Reviews and Complaints

CustomerServiceNumbers.com currently displays a rating of 3.0 out of 5 stars based on one historical entry.

The visible entry is dated May 11, 2016. The writer had recently purchased a 2006 Lincoln Town Car and asked where to obtain the chipped valet key referenced in the owner’s manual because local locksmiths did not carry the correct blank.

The entry does not describe contacting Lincoln customer service, visiting a retailer, receiving a response, paying for a key, resolving the issue, or experiencing a positive or negative service outcome. It should therefore be treated as a historical parts-and-key question rather than evidence of current customer-service performance.

Valet Key Needed for a 2006 Lincoln Town Car

May 11, 2016

Lincoln, I recently purchased a 2006 Lincoln Town Car with 35,168 miles on it. The owner’s manual refers to a valet key. Can you tell me where I can purchase one? None of the locksmiths in my area carry the correct chipped key blank.
