Pleasant Hearth Customer Service, Warranty, Replacement Parts, Orders and Safety Help

Pleasant Hearth customer service can help with fireplaces, electric inserts, vent-free gas stoves, wood and pellet stoves, fireplace doors, gas logs, fire pits, replacement parts, manuals, warranty claims, online orders and returns. Call GHP Group’s Pleasant Hearth support line at 1-877-447-4768 or email customerservice@ghpgroupinc.com.

The correct support route depends on the product, model and seller. GHP Group handles Pleasant Hearth product support, manuals, parts and manufacturer warranties. The store that sold the product generally handles its own order, delivery, return and refund policies.

Pleasant Hearth Customer Service Phone Numbers and Contacts

Do not mail a fireplace, heater, stove, fire pit, part or warranty item to either address without current written instructions. Direct-order returns require an RMA number, and warranty products may require a separate claim authorization.

Why Are Two Pleasant Hearth Phone Numbers Listed?

GHP Group currently publishes two main support numbers:

  • 1-877-447-4768: Toll-free Pleasant Hearth product, warranty and replacement-parts support
  • 1-847-324-5900: GHP Group customer service and direct online-order questions

The official pages also display different hours for different support functions. Verify the current hours when calling during a holiday or outside normal weekday business hours.

Does Pleasant Hearth Offer Exchanges?

GHP Group currently processes exchanges as two separate transactions:

  1. Return the original item for a refund.

The customer does not need to wait for the first item to reach the return center before placing the replacement order, but the customer may temporarily have charges for both transactions.

How Long Does a Pleasant Hearth Refund Take?

GHP Group currently says refunds and replacement orders are processed within approximately seven to ten business days after the return arrives at the return center.

Additional bank or card processing time can apply. Keep the:

  • RMA number

  • Original payment record

How to Find a Pleasant Hearth Owner’s Manual

  1. Locate the model number on the product label.
  2. Search the model on the GHP Group website.
  3. Open the matching product page.
  4. Look for Product Manual, Warning, Specifications or EPA Documentation.
  5. Email customer service when the model is no longer listed.

Do not use a manual for a similar-looking model. Fuel type, clearances, wiring, ventilation, controls, replacement parts and warranty terms can differ.

How to Find a Pleasant Hearth Model Number

The model and serial label may be found:

  • On the back of an electric fireplace
  • Inside or behind an access panel
  • On the rear of a stove
  • Near the gas-control compartment
  • Under a fire table
  • On the original carton
  • On the receipt or online order
  • On the first page of the owner’s manual

Turn off and cool the product before looking behind or underneath it. Do not move a heavy stove or connected gas appliance without qualified assistance.

Pleasant Hearth Replacement Parts

GHP Group lists many parts online, including:

  • Thermocouples
  • Control boards
  • Blowers
  • Power supplies
  • Remotes
  • Switches
  • Handles
  • Screws and brackets
  • Fire bowls

  • Serial number or date code
  • Part number from the manual
  • Part description
  • Photograph of the original part
  • Photograph of the product label
  • Fuel type
  • Purchase date
  • Shipping destination

Do not substitute a gas valve, regulator, thermocouple, burner, electrical control, power supply or other safety-sensitive component unless it is approved for the exact model.

Part Is Discontinued or Out of Stock

Ask Pleasant Hearth whether:

  • The part number has changed.
  • A superseding part is available.
  • A repair kit is available.
  • An authorized repair center has inventory.
  • A comparable product replacement is available under warranty.
  • The unit should be permanently removed from service.

Do not alter the appliance to accept an incompatible part.

Pleasant Hearth Warranty Coverage

Pleasant Hearth warranty length varies by product. The exact product page, owner’s manual and warranty statement control.

Current examples include:

  • One-year limited warranties on selected electric fireplaces and accessories
  • Two-year warranties on selected vent-free gas stoves and gas log sets
  • Five-year limited warranties on selected wood-burning stoves
  • Lifetime warranties on selected steel fireplace grates

Do not assume that a five-year or lifetime warranty applies to every component of the product.

Common Pleasant Hearth Warranty Requirements

Depending on the product, warranty service can require:

  • Original proof of purchase
  • Model and serial number
  • Original purchaser or owner
  • Residential use
  • Proper installation
  • Use of approved parts
  • Operation according to the manual
  • Photographs or inspection
  • Written service authorization
  • A warranty claim number

What Can Void a Pleasant Hearth Warranty?

Published warranty exclusions can include:

  • Modification of the product or components
  • Use of an unapproved component
  • Installation outside the owner’s manual
  • Improper fuel conversion
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Commercial use when the warranty is residential
  • Unauthorized repair work
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance
  • Normal wear or cosmetic changes
  • Accidental or environmental damage

Contact GHP Group before authorizing warranty work or disposing of the product.

How to File a Pleasant Hearth Warranty Claim

  2. Locate the receipt.
  3. Record the model and serial number.
  4. Review the exact manual and warranty.

  6. Call 1-877-447-4768 or email customer service.
  7. Request a case or warranty claim number.
  8. Ask whether the product, part or photographs must be submitted.
  9. Ask whether GHP must approve the technician.
  10. Keep all written instructions and shipping records.

Authorized Pleasant Hearth Repair Centers

GHP Group provides an authorized repair-center locator. Availability varies by location and product type.

Before scheduling service, ask:

  • Whether the center services the exact model
  • Whether the work is covered by warranty
  • Whether GHP authorization is required
  • Who pays diagnosis and travel charges
  • Whether the product must be transported
  • Whether parts are available
  • Whether the technician is qualified for gas, electrical or solid-fuel equipment

Electric Fireplace Will Not Turn On

  1. Turn the fireplace off.
  2. Check that the plug is fully inserted.
  3. Verify that the outlet works.
  4. Check the circuit breaker.
  5. Confirm the main power switch is on.
  6. Replace remote batteries when applicable.
  7. Check whether the thermostat is already satisfied.
  8. Look for a safety switch or overheat reset described in the manual.
  9. Unplug the unit before removing dust or debris.
  10. Contact Pleasant Hearth if the problem continues.

Do not open sealed electrical components or bypass a safety switch.

Electric Fireplace Is Overheating, Sparking or Smells Burned

Turn it off and unplug it when safe. Stop using the unit if there is:

  • Smoke
  • Sparking
  • Melting plastic
  • Burned wiring odor
  • Damaged cord
  • Hot or discolored plug
  • Repeated circuit-breaker trips
  • Unusual grinding or electrical noise

Portable electric heaters should be connected according to their manual and kept away from combustible materials. Do not use an extension cord or power strip unless the exact manual expressly permits it.

Electric Fireplace Flame Works but There Is No Heat

Possible causes include:

  • Flame-only mode is selected.
  • The thermostat setting is below room temperature.
  • An overheat safety device activated.
  • The heater switch is off.
  • The blower is obstructed.
  • A heater, switch, relay or control component failed.

Allow the unit to cool and follow the model-specific reset instructions. Do not bypass an overheat device.

Vent-Free Gas Fireplace, Stove or Log Set Safety

Vent-free gas appliances require careful installation, ventilation and maintenance.

  • Confirm whether the appliance is configured for natural gas, propane or approved dual fuel.
  • Never perform an unapproved fuel conversion.
  • Follow local and state installation restrictions.
  • Use a qualified gas-appliance technician when required.
  • Maintain the clearances stated in the manual.
  • Do not block required combustion air.
  • Install and maintain carbon-monoxide alarms.
  • Do not operate an unvented fuel-burning appliance in a sleeping room unless expressly permitted by the manual and local code.
  • Do not use the appliance when a CO alarm activates.

An oxygen-depletion sensor is an important safety component but is not a substitute for proper installation, maintenance, ventilation and working carbon-monoxide alarms.

What to Do If You Smell Gas

  1. Do not light the appliance.
  2. Do not operate electrical switches.
  3. Do not use a telephone inside the affected area.
  4. Leave the building or immediate area.
  5. Call the gas supplier from a safe location.
  6. Call emergency services if the gas supplier cannot be reached.
  7. Do not return until qualified authorities say it is safe.

Do not continue troubleshooting a suspected gas leak by repeatedly attempting ignition.

Gas Fireplace or Stove Pilot Will Not Stay Lit

Possible causes can include:

  • Air in the gas line
  • Incorrect gas pressure
  • Dirty pilot assembly
  • Failed thermocouple or thermopile
  • Blocked oxygen-depletion sensor
  • Improper fuel configuration
  • High-elevation operation
  • Gas-supply or regulator problem

Turn the appliance off and use a qualified technician for gas-pressure, valve, burner and safety-control testing.

Carbon-Monoxide Alarm Activates Near a Pleasant Hearth Product

Treat every carbon-monoxide alarm as a potential emergency.

  1. Move everyone to fresh air.
  2. Call emergency services.
  3. Do not silence the alarm and continue using the appliance.
  4. Do not re-enter solely to turn the heater back on.
  5. Have the appliance, fuel supply, room ventilation and any venting system inspected.
  6. Replace or service the CO alarm when instructed by its manufacturer.

Pleasant Hearth Wood-Stove Support

Wood-stove questions can involve:

  • Installation clearances
  • Chimney and connector requirements
  • EPA documentation
  • Door gasket
  • Firebrick
  • Blower
  • Baffle or burn components
  • Door glass
  • Smoke spillage
  • Draft problems
  • Warranty parts

Use the exact manual and EPA documentation for the model. A certified or otherwise qualified hearth professional should evaluate installation, venting and chimney concerns.

Wood Stove Is Smoking Into the Room

Stop use and investigate possible causes such as:

  • Blocked or dirty chimney
  • Creosote buildup
  • Cold chimney
  • Insufficient chimney height
  • Negative indoor air pressure
  • Wet wood
  • Improper connector installation
  • Damaged door gasket
  • Restricted air inlet
  • Improper operation

Do not continue using a stove that sends smoke or combustion gases into the living space.

Wood-Stove Glass Is Cracked

Stop using the stove. Replacement glass must match the type, thickness and dimensions required by the exact model.

Do not substitute ordinary window glass. Contact Pleasant Hearth or an authorized hearth dealer for the correct high-temperature replacement and installation instructions.

Pellet-Stove Problems

Depending on the model, pellet-stove problems can involve:

  • Igniter
  • Auger
  • Combustion blower
  • Convection blower
  • Vacuum switch
  • Control board
  • Door or hopper switch
  • Fuel quality
  • Ash buildup
  • Vent obstruction

Turn the stove off, allow it to cool and follow the cleaning and diagnostic instructions in the exact manual. Electrical and combustion repairs should be handled by a qualified technician.

Fireplace Glass Door Sizing and Installation

Before ordering a Pleasant Hearth fireplace door:

  • Measure the inside fireplace-opening width.
  • Measure the opening height.
  • Measure to the precision requested by the sizing guide.
  • Confirm whether the fireplace is masonry or factory-built.
  • Verify the model’s minimum and maximum opening dimensions.
  • Review the installation manual and video.

Do not assume a door set fits because the fireplace looks similar to a product photograph.

Fireplace Glass Doors During a Fire

The correct open or closed position depends on the fireplace-door model and installation. Follow the exact owner’s manual.

Improper door position can cause:

  • Excessive heat
  • Glass damage
  • Reduced combustion air
  • Smoke spillage
  • Damage to the door frame or fireplace

Fire Pit or Gas Fire Table Problems

Common support questions include:

  • Missing hardware
  • Damaged fire bowl
  • Replacement mesh cover
  • Ignition failure
  • Burner or control problem
  • Propane regulator or hose
  • Rust or coating damage
  • Incorrect assembly
  • Replacement cooking grid

Use outdoor fire products only in locations and conditions permitted by the manual. Never operate a product intended for outdoor use inside a home, garage, tent, vehicle or enclosed porch.

Gas Fire Table Will Not Ignite

  1. Turn the control off.
  2. Close the propane-cylinder valve.
  3. Allow accumulated gas to disperse.
  4. Confirm the cylinder contains fuel.
  5. Inspect visible hose and regulator connections.
  6. Check the igniter battery when applicable.
  7. Confirm the burner is dry and unobstructed.
  8. Follow the leak-test and lighting procedure in the manual.
  9. Stop if gas odor continues.

Never use an open flame to test a propane connection for leaks.

Fire Pit Arrived With Missing or Damaged Parts

Before returning the entire product:

  1. Compare the cartons with the manual.
  2. Check protective packaging for small hardware.
  3. Identify the missing part by letter or part number.
  4. Photograph damaged components.
  5. Contact the retailer about shipping damage.
  6. Contact Pleasant Hearth about replacement parts.
  7. Do not operate an incomplete fire pit or fire table.

Pleasant Hearth Product Registration

Registration can help GHP Group associate the product, model, purchaser and purchase date. Keep the receipt even after registering because warranty service may still require proof of purchase.

Record:

  • Model number
  • Serial number
  • Purchase date
  • Retailer
  • Customer name and address

Registration does not expand the warranty beyond the product’s written terms.

Possible Pleasant Hearth Recall or Safety Defect

  1. Stop using the product when the condition appears dangerous.
  2. Record the model and serial number.
  3. Photograph the product and label.
  4. Search the CPSC recall database.
  5. Check the retailer’s recall page.
  6. Contact GHP Group.
  7. Do not discard the product until instructions are received.
  8. Report an unsafe incident through SaferProducts.gov when appropriate.

A repair, refund or replacement is not automatically available merely because a similar product was recalled. The exact model, date code and remedy notice control.

Fake Pleasant Hearth Support and Parts Scams

Be cautious with websites or callers that:

  • Claim a warranty fee must be paid by gift card
  • Request cryptocurrency
  • Ask for online-banking access
  • Request a password or security code
  • Demand remote access to a computer or phone
  • Sell a safety-sensitive gas part without verifying the model
  • Claim they can bypass an unavailable safety component
  • Use an unofficial Pleasant Hearth website address

Verify support through GHPGroupInc.com or the published Pleasant Hearth telephone numbers.

How to Escalate a Pleasant Hearth Complaint

  1. Identify the exact model and retailer.
  2. Determine whether the issue is an order, return, parts, warranty, repair or safety matter.
  3. Contact the selling retailer for retailer-controlled issues.
  4. Call Pleasant Hearth at 1-877-447-4768.

  10. Ask for supervisor or warranty-team review when the first response does not resolve the issue.
  11. Send written correspondence to the Elk Grove Village customer-service address only after ordinary support routes have been attempted.

A review posted on CustomerServiceNumbers.com does not order a part, cancel an order, create an RMA, approve warranty coverage, authorize a repair or report an emergency to Pleasant Hearth.
