I PURCHASED A CAMERA AT THE ORANGE, CT. STORE LAST WEEK & DIDN'T LIKE IT. I RETURNED IT FOR AN EXCHANGE & THE FIRST SALESMAN WAS NOT AT ALL HELPFULL. I WISH I HAD GOTTEN HIS NAME! HOWEVER, A CUSTOMER SERVICE GIRL PASSED & ASKED IF I NEEDED HELP. I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM TO HER & SAID I DIDN'T GET VERY GOOD SERVICE WITH THE GENTLEMAN. SHE VERY POLITELY CALLED OVER A SALESGIRL NAMED JASMINE ORTIZ WHO WAS SOOOO HELPFUL & PLEASANT. SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE (EXCHANGE) CAMERA TO ME. I WAS SO GREATFUL & OFFERED TO TIP HER FOR HER HELP, HOWEVER SHE SAID SHE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO ACCEPT TIPS. IT IS SO HARD TO FIND SALESPEOPLE WHO TAKE THE TIME & HAVE THE PATIENCE THEY SHOULD HAVE WITH CUSTOMERS. HOWEVER, JASMINE WAS EVER SO POLITE & ATTENTIVE TO MY PROBLEM. I WANT TO THANK JASMINE FOR BEING SO HELPFUL TO ME. I THINK IT IS IMPORTANT FOR UPPER MANAGEMENT TO REALIZE THE VALUE OF A GOOD WORKER. PLEASE LET HER KNOW HOW PLEASED I AM.

opened a camera gift no battery charger .went in too show the GM of the best buy Miami beach...he told me basically that nikon doesnt make mistakes ....its past 30 days of purchase....to bad ...i had the reciept and everything was unopened the cd all the cords paper work..didnt matter...

Best buy customer service is real a big joke and suck. When I raised my voice and arguring against the wrong they did to me after many times of asking for helps on the pay statements. At that time I feel frustrated and helpless and just like a victim on the wrong process. And Best buy (Worst buy)some of staffs ganged togather around me to say " You are not welcomed here, I am going to push you out. Do not let me do the crazy thing on you etc.." I do not know this is the good behavier and customer services that Best buy( or Worst buy) provided. See, even a custome had the wrong, I think Worst buy should easy them and try to find out the alternative to help them, not just use the way of the threatening to a single helpless customer. What a such big joke Worst but provied and it is real suck and stink. I think the story may be listed in collection of bisuniess history in Worst buy. I need to talk illinois consumer protection center to see what Worst buy did to me is right or not.

Had a DVD that skipped - took it back but BEST BUY store stated it was over 30 days. All I wanted was to replace it ---- but had to go thru customer service and wait on the phone for over 1/2 hr. Got a minimal customer credit. Very poor customer service, return policy. Guess BEST BUY doesnt need good return customers to stay in business.

12/2/09 Tried for two days to reach Best Buy Customer Service by phone. Was on hold each day for over an hour and both days the call ultimately was transferred to an automated recording saying call during business hours. Both calls were during business hours.
