As of Oct. 1st Capital one purchased a book of business from HSBC. There was an error as to the day of payment ... since I had always been current, they wavied my late fee & interest on the late fee.

I was sure of my due date and asked if it had been switched, they said no so I will have to go to Best Buys and verify the date whihc I was sure of.

5/25/2012 I come home today and found HSBC credit card
I come home today and found HSBC credit card statement for pay IDR 656,097 immediately as total out standing balance in used "my credit card". The HSBC mention my account was closed since 10 May 2012. One year ago, on 23 May 2011, around 11:45 AM, I have called HSBC costumer service to close my account because HSBC have charged me for used "my credit card" that I never recieved. The costumer service cannot do it because they are failed to access my account due to unmatching of my identity (my mother name). I told them that I am very sure and never make a mistake to give the wrong name of my mother in the credit card application form. But the cannot help. I asked them about "my credit card" that I never recieved, again there is no a clear answer.
So, its very pitty and unacceptable. Must I pay for something I never recieved or used ??? What do think?

I have been a customer of HSBC credit card for over ten years. Last week my MasterCard was stopped because I had run out of credit. No notification was rendered me about insane charges all Fraudulent made against the card maxing out the credit. I was issued a new card and the credit was zero pending the investigation of the fraud charges. I was told it could take two billing cycles to restore my credit and make the card operational.
As I depend on the card for most of my credit purchases, I am incensed that the new card does not have a restoral of credit on it. That and the failure to notify me of the obvious fraudulent use of the card(by virtue of the way it was used by the thieves) and the amounts of several thousand dollars in large purchases is a very poor way to conduct your business.
My calls to the Fraud department result in the same story over and over again. All unsatisfactory.

You people are making your complaints to the wrong people. Please contact the better buss. burrow. I have a much worst complaint and a lawyer told me what to do. They have sold my card off to collections and charged me five hundred dollars for a card never used. I called them and requested a copy of when and where it was used. They flat refused to give me the information. Now if they had a real charge they would provide me with this information. You can only speak with a person from another country. They send you a card you do not use it, then they sale off your account to a collection agency and say you pay or we will turn you in to credit burrow. What a scam. Cancel your cards with them and only use your bank card. Your bank will provide you with a reputable card. Sorry for all of you.

had a very bad experience with hsbc.. told me that i have pending payment, i paid right away to avaoid charges, after i had my passbook updated , i found out i already paid a week ago.... so stupid... i called them then they told me i have to fax two id pictures and the like .. so i did... called the ff day... they didnt received any daw. then i faxed again,,,, called the ff day... they finally received it then told me it will take 10 days to process... after 14 days i called. they told me they didnt received any fax... gave them the id no of the one we talked to.. they insist no record of that... hazzzz... now i have soooo many charges na as in i dont understand.... i told them i want to close my account,,, they told me to fax again.... ... so sick and tired of those people and hsbc

I came home today and found a summons on my door from HSBC.I tried calling then and after on hold for 17 miuntes they said my accound had been sold.I tried calling the number they gave me 3 times total of 39 minutes on hold no answer just crappy music.I agree a joke I barely remember the card and none of the charges.They prayed on people rebuilding their credit and upping their limits.I cant wait till that day in court,have no job unemployed since 10-2008.dont own anything,and under doctors care.Timothy Leary

I am having the same exact issue as Kul. I made a one time payment of $519.69 on 6-15-11 and the money was taken out of my account, and as of today 6-16-11 Chase customer service says my payment was received by HSBC at 3:56 a.m this morning. In the past when I have scheduled a payment it is received and posted within 24 hours, why would it be different for larger payments? I certainly hope I don't have to wait for over 7 days for my balance to drop to $0.00 like Kul had to, because there is a TV on sale at best buy and the sale ends on Saturday 6-18. I'm going to be spending over $1400! Also in the past I have received late fees for paying my bill 15-20 days early, because HSBC changed my due date to a later date after the early payment was made. Fix this issue soon or I will join the ranks of people that have cancelled their HSBC credit card!
