I ordered Hot thai kitchen , you sent everything thai , I canceledorder you asked why, I said wrong book was sent you asked name of right book and said you would sens free of charge and send right book . I checked orderes and you were still going to resend everything thai AGAIN canceled that order and had to order HOT THAI KITCHEN hope right book comes this time.Other book is on its way back.

  2. They charged me $12.99 and I never ordered anything from them since 2014. Very suspicioso and not cool! We will see if I get my debit account refunded in full in “2 to 5 business days”. And why so difficult to contact by phone?!? If no, money then a phone call to the AG office! 🙁

    1. Well, they returned the $12.99 the next day. But, reading all these comments of similar experiences shows something ‘fishy’ in the works with our debit/credit card accounts.

  3. I am receiving People Magazines in which I did not subscribe to. Whether free or otherwise I would like for this subscription and any other that might be sent to me. I do not read magazines. Please attend to this matter as soon as possible. Even though I order from Amazon Prime, I do not wish to be sent items that I did not commit to. Teresa Nelson

  4. I was charged 130$ for a Prime membership that I never signed up for. I called them the next day and they refunded me no questions asked. Yes it seems there is something fishy going on here because I never signed up for this membership in the first place and I can see that it has happened to at least 4-5 others in the comments here. But, they did refund me my money with no hassle, and they canceled my membership and said I will not be charged again. Hopefully that is true, however I was pleased with the hassle free reimbursement. Hope everyone else has the same experience.

    1. Just spoke with C.S. Rep for Prime, regarding same issue of being charged for service not ordered. He was cordial, thorough and had no problem issuing a refund. It was fast and painless. I was very pleased with the experience.

      1. Like you I did not order a Prime membership and it was charged to my credit card (same thing happened to my mother). Yes, the gentleman at Amazon was cordial and “thorough”. He said they would cancel my Prime Membership but on my next checking statement I see that they refunded HALF of what I was charged. So now I have to make another phone call to these people to get something cancelled that I never ordered !! and it’s not just for 5 people this is happened to… there are thousands.

  5. I have been charged again, for something I did not order. I cancel my credit card to stop this and the charges just get transferred over to the new card. Why is this happening?

  6. I have several issues. When my husband signed up for this service, it was SUPPOSED to be $100 a year in January. In addition, it was to automatically charge us a year from Jan for $100. I see on the bill that we are being charged $12.99 a month on our capital one card ending in 9999. We are also being charged 3.99 for Amazon digital svcs on this card as well as 4.50 on our USAA card ending in 8888. What is going on?????

  9. Can a customer purchase anything on Amazon.com lately without being badgered to sign up for PRIME MEMBERSHIP. It is very difficult to order anything from Amazon without them throwing up roadblocks to sucker the customer into signing up for PRIME Membership.

    PRIME must really SUCK when the Amazon Company insists on tricking and forcing it on their customers. I’ve even seem some items that are not available to customers who choose not to sign up for PRIME. This sure looks like underhanded, or shady, or even discriminatory, business practice to me. Can we as consumers do anything about this current AMAZON shady business practice?

  11. locked out of my account. they sent charges to my credit card that said books books books, did not order. I bought food toilet paper etc I cancelled my credit card and now they say I did not pay , I did correct the charges as being correct and paid mycredit card now amazon says I did not pay. so I am in a never ending loop of he said I said. bottom line. I ordered and I paid. I called waiting for them to reply? all there fault. too lazy to list my actual purchases.

  14. I see there seems to be a common thread here. I too was debited for memebership with prime that I never signed up for. I emailed them and was told they can seem to find a debit for me but yet there it is on CC statement. I had never even heard of Prime Video untill I saw it on my statement. I was informed to phone customer care to deal with the issue over the phone. Heres my problem, I live in South Africa so who is going to refund me for the international call? What are the chances I will be holding on for a while. I have 2 debits for R56.08 each (not sure what that is in dollars) but I want them refunded and whatever membership in on there cancelled.

    1. ok All hell’s going to break lose. I did NOT ask for Amazon Prime. I cannot even afford that membership. Why would I opt for it. Demanding money back NOW.

  16. Paying my bills and notice a charge for Prime, which I didn’t order, find out it was because I allowed my college student to order her Christmas prize, and she did the free 2 day shipping. The REP. Ms. Cathy was really nice and resolved the problem.

  18. It was a pain trying to find a customer service number for amazon prime. I canceled membership on line and then called to make sure it was cancelled but they still charged my card. They make it hard to find the right number. find customer service to cancel. Just making Jeff Bozo richer!

  19. I have been billed for two months for Amazon Prime and did not order a membership in this with any expectancy of being billed monthly. I want it stopped now. I do not want Amazon Prime and never did. I cannot even find a phone number to call you and have this service I did not request discontinued. I may never buy from Amazon again.

I had same exact issue I finally found number took so long to find I was told sorry they will refund money so they only refunded half they promised even got email stating the money amount promised so plz make sure to get full refund call them again n again til fixed cuz they will continue to bill account I was clueless until 300$ was missing I never agreed either how they legally can take ur card is beyond me they did apologize many times but where’s all my $ lol bottom line don’t agree to 2 day shipping they automatically enroll u in prime don’t accept fire tablets they enroll u as well
