Choose the Correct Giant Bikes Support Route

Giant uses different support routes depending on where you bought the bike or gear and what type of help you need.

  • Bike or gear bought from a Giant retailer: Contact the local Giant retailer where you purchased the item.
  • Online order issue: Reply to your Giant order confirmation email, especially for order-specific questions.
  • General product or customer-service inquiry: Use Giant’s official contact form, live chat, phone number, or Rider Support email.
  • Warranty claim or replacement request: Start with an Authorized Giant Retailer. Giant says warranty evaluations and replacement-component requests begin through a local authorized retailer.
  • Bike fit, sizing, assembly, inspection, or service questions: Contact an Authorized Giant Retailer or a qualified bicycle service professional.
  • Gear, apparel, or accessory return: Use the Giant return instructions and the GiantWebLink email if an RMA is required.
  • Recall or product-safety concern: Use Giant’s official recall page and contact Giant or an Authorized Giant Retailer.
  • Privacy request: Contact Giant through the official contact page, phone number, or Rider Support email.

Information To Have Ready Before Contacting Giant

Before contacting Giant, your local retailer, or Rider Support, gather the details that apply to your issue:

  • Bike model, model year, size, color, and frame serial number
  • Proof of purchase, receipt, order confirmation, or invoice
  • Name and location of the Giant retailer where the bike or gear was purchased
  • Online order reference number if purchased through Giant’s U.S. website
  • Photos of the issue if Giant or the retailer requests them
  • Warranty registration details, if available
  • Component brand information for third-party parts such as drivetrains, suspension, racks, or locks
  • A short description of the issue and the resolution you are requesting
  • Prior case number, retailer contact, or representative name if you have already contacted support

For public reviews, do not post your full address, email address, phone number, full serial number, order number, payment information, accident documents, or photos that reveal private information.

Common Reasons Customers Contact Giant Bikes

  • Warranty questions, replacement-part routing, or inspection requirements
  • Online order status, delivery, pickup, or retailer assembly questions
  • Returns for bikes, gear, rider apparel, accessories, or digital gift cards
  • Bike registration, serial number records, and proof-of-purchase questions
  • Product manuals, archived bike specifications, sizing, and fit questions
  • Bike, e-bike, helmet, wheel, component, gear, or accessory issues
  • Recall information or safety-related product concerns

Giant Warranty Claims and Authorized Retailer Support

Giant warranty claims generally start through an Authorized Giant Retailer. If you believe your bike, frame, fork, component, helmet, gear, or accessory may have a warranty issue, bring your proof of purchase and the product to a local Authorized Giant Retailer for review.

Giant says warranty decisions cannot be made over the phone or by email in many cases because the product may need to be physically inspected. If the issue involves a safety concern, stop using the product and contact a Giant retailer or Giant support for the official next step.

Online Orders, Shipping, Pickup, and Returns

Giant’s online order process may involve shipment to an Authorized Giant Retailer for assembly and pickup. If your question is about an online order, reply to your order confirmation email or use Giant’s official support options. Bikes, gear, and apparel may have different return rules, time limits, and eligibility requirements.

Bike Registration, Manuals, and Archived Specifications

Giant provides online resources for registering a Giant, Liv, or Momentum bicycle, reviewing owner manuals, and checking older bicycle specifications through its archive. Registration can help store product details and serial number information for future reference, but customers should still keep their own proof of purchase and serial-number records.

Recalls, E-Bikes, and Product-Safety Questions

Giant maintains an official recall-information page for affected bikes, forks, pedals, and other product notices. If you believe your bike or component may be affected by a recall or safety issue, use Giant’s official recall page and contact Giant or an Authorized Giant Retailer. Do not rely on public comments for safety-sensitive issues.

CustomerServiceNumbers.com does not provide bicycle repair, assembly, brake, battery, e-bike, helmet, electrical, mechanical, riding, legal, or safety advice. Contact Giant, an Authorized Giant Retailer, the component manufacturer, or a qualified bicycle professional for those issues.

Fraud, Privacy, and Safe Review Tips

When contacting Giant or leaving a public review, protect your private information. Do not post your full address, email address, phone number, payment details, full order number, full bike serial number, login details, accident documents, or photos that reveal private records. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Giant, use the official Giant website, retailer locator, contact form, or verified phone number instead of clicking unknown links.

How to Escalate a Giant Bikes Complaint

If your Giant issue is not resolved after the first contact, keep the complaint organized and route it through the correct support channel.

  1. Contact the local Authorized Giant Retailer first for warranty, service, fitting, assembly, inspection, and replacement-component questions.
  2. For online order issues, reply to your Giant order confirmation email and save all order-related messages.
  3. Ask the retailer or Giant support for a written explanation of the next step, expected timeline, and any case or service number.
  4. Gather your receipt, serial number, photos, registration details, and prior messages before escalating.
  5. Use Giant’s official contact form, live chat, phone number, or Rider Support email if you need to reach Giant directly.
  6. For safety-sensitive issues, stop relying on public comments and use official Giant, retailer, recall, CPSC, or qualified professional support routes.

Giant saddle makes noise

May 16, 2018

hi, I purchased a giant SLR saddle neutral from a dealer in Montreal. I am very disappointed because every time I go for a ride, there is always a cracking noise. I bought it last September 2017, and for that reason, I cannot return it at the store. All my family has giant bikes and accessories and never had any issues. What can I do because I paid $230.00 for the saddle? Maybe you can help me. Thanks

paintwork on my brand new Giant TCR1 composite road bike

October 6, 2014

I have a problem with the paintwork on my brand new Giant TCR1 composite road bike. The paint has flaked off the cross tube and the lower chain stays where the carbon frame connects to the aluminium drop outs. Giant declare that paintwork is not covered by warrantee and they are not prepared to do anything about it.
