  • Ozark Trail Customer Service: Warranty and Parts

Ozark Trail is Walmart’s outdoor recreation brand, offering tents, canopies, coolers, chairs, lighting, drinkware, fishing equipment, wagons, bicycles, camping accessories, and other outdoor products.

Walmart handles purchase, return, order, and recall questions. Warranty service and replacement parts may be handled by the supplier that manufactured the specific Ozark Trail product.

How to Contact Ozark Trail Customer Service

Important: Ozark Trail does not have one universal warranty or replacement-parts number covering every product.

Current Ozark Trail products may be manufactured and serviced by different suppliers. The correct support number should appear on the product page, packaging, instruction manual, warranty card, label, or replacement-parts diagram.

Call Walmart at 1-800-925-6278 for help with a Walmart purchase, order, return, refund, missing item, damaged shipment, store complaint, or product recall.

Which Ozark Trail Number Should You Call?

Call Walmart Customer Service

Call 1-800-925-6278 when the issue involves:

  • A recent in-store purchase
  • A Walmart.com order
  • A damaged or missing shipment
  • A return or refund
  • An incorrect product in the box
  • A receipt or purchase-history question
  • A Marketplace order
  • A safety recall
  • Difficulty identifying the correct product supplier
  • An unresolved complaint involving a Walmart store

Call the Product-Specific Supplier

Use the number printed in the product manual or Walmart item listing for:

  • Warranty claims
  • Replacement tent poles
  • Canopy frames and tops
  • Cooler handles, latches, drain plugs, or zippers
  • Flashlight or lantern warranty service
  • Chair frames and fabric
  • Wagon wheels or hardware
  • Missing assembly components
  • Technical product questions
  • Parts for products outside Walmart’s return period

The number 1-833-908-2025 appears on numerous current Ozark Trail tents, canopies, hard-sided coolers, and lighting products. Published hours vary by listing, but many show service seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Central Time.

The number 1-888-774-5840 appears on certain tents, lighted canopies, and soft-sided coolers serviced by Insight 2 Design. Those listings generally show hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.

These examples are not universal. Always use the contact information associated with the exact item number or model.

How to Identify Your Ozark Trail Product

Before calling, locate as many of the following details as possible:

  • Walmart item number
  • Ozark Trail model number
  • UPC or barcode number
  • Approximate purchase date
  • Walmart receipt or online order number
  • Photographs of the complete product
  • Photographs of the damaged or missing component
  • Product dimensions, capacity, and color
  • Part number from the instruction manual
  • Name of the manufacturer or importer printed on the label

For online purchases, sign in to your Walmart account and open the order details. The original product page may contain warranty information, a supplier telephone number, and links to manuals or replacement parts.

For an older product, search Walmart.com using the model number rather than only searching for “Ozark Trail tent,” “Ozark Trail cooler,” or another broad description.

Ozark Trail Warranty Information

Warranty coverage varies considerably by product. Ozark Trail does not offer one brand-wide warranty covering every outdoor item.

Examples found on current Walmart listings include:

  • Six-month limited warranties on certain tents and canopies
  • One-year warranties on some fishing and outdoor products
  • Two-year limited warranties on certain flashlights
  • Supplier-specific limited warranties on coolers and camping equipment

The warranty for the exact model controls. A warranty on one Ozark Trail tent, cooler, flashlight, or canopy should not be assumed to apply to another model.

What May Be Required for Warranty Service

  • Original sales receipt or Walmart order record
  • Product model and item number
  • Photographs showing the defect
  • A description of how and when the problem occurred
  • The purchaser’s name and contact information
  • Return of the damaged part when requested
  • Payment of shipping costs when excluded from coverage

Warranty coverage commonly applies to defects in materials or workmanship. Damage caused by storms, excessive wind, snow accumulation, improper setup, misuse, ordinary wear, fading, punctures, animals, improper storage, or unauthorized modifications may be excluded.

Do not dispose of the product or damaged part until the supplier confirms whether photographs, inspection, or return shipment will be required.

Ozark Trail Replacement Parts

Customers commonly search for replacement parts for:

  • Tent poles and pole sections
  • Tent rainflies
  • Tent stakes and guy lines
  • Canopy tops
  • Canopy frames and corner brackets
  • Canopy push buttons and sliders
  • Cooler handles and latches
  • Cooler drain plugs
  • Soft-cooler zippers and straps
  • Chair fabric and feet
  • Wagon wheels and hardware
  • Flashlight switches and battery holders
  • Tumbler lids, straws, and gaskets

Ozark Trail Canopy Replacement Tops

Walmart sells replacement canopy tops for certain Ozark Trail models. Before ordering, confirm:

  • Whether the frame has straight or slanted legs
  • The advertised canopy size
  • The actual shaded-area dimensions
  • The number and location of roof vents
  • The frame model number
  • The attachment style
  • Whether the listing includes only the fabric top or a complete frame

A replacement top advertised as 10 feet by 10 feet may not fit every Ozark Trail 10-by-10 canopy. Straight-leg and slant-leg frames commonly use different tops and attachment points.

Ozark Trail Cooler Parts

For a damaged cooler zipper, handle, hinge, latch, seal, or drain plug:

  1. Locate the cooler’s capacity, model number, and Walmart item number.
  2. Photograph the cooler and damaged component.
  3. Check the Walmart product page for warranty information.
  4. Call the supplier listed for that exact model.
  5. Ask whether an individual replacement part is available before requesting a complete replacement.

Soft-sided cooler zippers and fabric sections may not be replaceable in the same way as hard-cooler latches, handles, or drain plugs.

Returning an Ozark Trail Product to Walmart

Walmart’s standard policy generally allows most items sold by Walmart to be returned within 90 days of purchase or delivery. Exceptions apply to certain categories.

Items sold and shipped by a Walmart Marketplace seller may use a 30-day return period or the seller’s applicable return terms.

Before returning an Ozark Trail product:

  • Check the receipt or order history for the return deadline
  • Confirm whether Walmart or a Marketplace seller sold the item
  • Gather the product, accessories, packaging, and receipt
  • Remove personal belongings from tents, coolers, bags, and wagons
  • Save photographs of any defect or shipping damage
  • Start the return through the Walmart app or account when purchased online

A retailer return is different from a manufacturer warranty claim. Walmart may direct a customer outside the normal return period to the supplier listed in the product warranty.

Current Ozark Trail Product Recalls

Consumers should check the model number before continuing to use an Ozark Trail product that may be subject to a safety recall.

Ozark Trail 64-Ounce Stainless Steel Water Bottle Recall

Walmart recalled certain Ozark Trail 64-ounce stainless steel insulated water bottles because the lid could forcefully eject and strike the user.

  • Model: 83-662
  • Product: Silver 64-ounce stainless steel bottle with a black screw-cap lid
  • Remedy: Stop using the bottle and return it to Walmart for a refund

The model number may appear on the original packaging rather than directly on the bottle.

Ozark Trail One-Burner Butane Stove Recall

Certain Ozark Trail tabletop one-burner butane camping stoves were recalled because they could explode or catch fire.

  • Model: BG2247A1
  • Product: Dark-green tabletop butane stove with an orange Ozark Trail logo
  • Model location: Label inside the fuel compartment
  • Remedy: Stop using the stove and return it to Walmart for a full refund

Do not attempt to repair or continue using a recalled stove.

Common Ozark Trail Complaints

Reviews submitted to CustomerServiceNumbers.com describe recurring concerns involving:

  • Soft-cooler and backpack-cooler zippers separating from the fabric
  • Difficulty locating replacement canopy tops
  • Replacement tops not fitting older frames
  • Flashlight switches failing after limited use
  • Difficulty identifying the company responsible for warranty service
  • Replacement parts being unavailable for older products
  • Consumers being directed between Walmart and a supplier
  • Uncertainty about warranty length and proof-of-purchase requirements

Some reviews also describe products that initially performed well before a zipper, switch, fabric component, or other part failed.

How to Escalate an Ozark Trail Complaint

  1. Identify the exact product. Locate the Walmart item number, model number, receipt, and manufacturer information.
  2. Contact the listed supplier. Use the telephone number or email printed in the product manual or Walmart listing for warranty and parts requests.
  3. Request a case number. Record the representative’s name, date, telephone number, and promised resolution.
  4. Contact Walmart customer service. Call 1-800-925-6278 for a purchase, return, refund, recall, or unresolved supplier-routing problem.
  5. Ask for escalation. Explain which supplier was contacted and provide the warranty case number.
  6. Visit the original Walmart store. Bring the receipt, product photographs, warranty information, and damaged part when practical.
  7. Submit corporate feedback. Use Walmart’s feedback system for an unresolved store, return, safety, or customer-service complaint.
  8. Report a safety hazard. Contact the Consumer Product Safety Commission when a product creates a fire, burn, impact, laceration, collapse, or other significant safety risk.

Information to Include in a Complaint

  • Walmart item and order number
  • Ozark Trail model number
  • Date and location of purchase
  • Product supplier or manufacturer
  • Description of the defect
  • Photographs and video
  • Dates of earlier calls or messages

This has been with very minimal use. Initially we had been very pleased and impressed with their quality . However now we would trade them all for anything that would work. Very displeased and out A lot of money . 🙁
